My favorite Twenty One Pilots song is 'Migraine'. I listen to this song every day because it always touches me and gives me strength. Even if I listen to other music most of the time, Twenty One Pilots are a fixed part of my playlist, because they grab you with their lyrics and the very intelligent music. For me they are true artists. Greetings from Germany 🖤🤘😎
Just listened to car radio tonight because of another reactor having it be their first exposure to twenty one pilots. Absolutely amazing that after 8 years it’s once again given me strength to fight another day!
Migraine is right up there for me as well, but if I had to pick one favourite T∅P song it would be Ode to Sleep. And as a musician, even though I'm WELL past the age of trying to "make it" [I've got about a year or so on our boy Black Pegasus, and I'm quite happy as a welder], I find the video hella inspiring, too!
Enjoy the “ride” bro. Love your reactions. As a 48 year old single dad who has seen these guys 5 times in concert with my daughter, listen to studio songs first then get into the Live stuff.. truly life changing. I would recommend Lane Boy next. Takes total shots at the music industry as whole. These guys started off like a basement band kinda and then kept getting bigger and bigger. Great music video would be Ode to Sleep. Documentary style video showing how these guys started and their growth. Us TØP fans don’t have any problems with 20 minute reaction videos of new clique members. Keep up the great work
I'm 49 year old mom who has seen them 3 times. Car Radio, Lane Boy, Heathens, and Migraine next please. Every song is different and is fire. Their genre is.....Twenty One Pilots.
I love this comment -as a 50 year old mum when I discovered TØP I dragged my kids along to the concert - they came willingly 😆. But this is a good sign -when a band Is relatable across generations you know they’re the best
50yr dad here too. 😂 I discovered these two amazing guys after they blew up with Heathens on the radio. Seen them twice starting in March 2017 & bought all their music. All of it is fire, new & old. Love watching newcomers reacting. Helps pass time until their next album & tour. You'll love their live shows!
The great thing about twenty one pilots is that yes they do have a lot of songs that are commercial, and you can just vibe if that's all you want from your music. But if you dig a little deeper, really listen to the lyrics and consider the songs in the context of the album they are from, you will hit more and more levels of meaning and creativity. Each abum has a theme and the last two albums even have a whole detailed lore and universe of characters and places! Tyler and Josh are both very genuine, down to earth people as well - just two self-taught guys from Ohio who worked hard for years to get where they - and I think that comes through in their music. They also have a great relationship with us the fans and are super interactive in low shows. As you've listen to two songs from the Blurryface album now I'd suggest continuing with more from that record - Lane Boy, Fairly Local and Heavydirtysoul.
Yeah, the twenty one pilots rabbit hole is in the same field as the Ren rabbit hole... neighbours in good lyrics, multiple genres, real topics and overall musicianship.
This is beyond a rabbit hole. If you really want to experience them Trees Live at Fox Theatre. Most energy I’ve ever seen. Also their video for Ode to Sleep is epic. I subscribed for the 21 pilots reactions
I'm glad you're going down this rabbit hole. I highly recommend their song, Car Radio. It showcases his rap and is really deep lyrically. The other would be Lane Boy. That one addresses their relationship with the music industry.
Check out their live performances as well. The live version of “Holding onto you” is epic, DirtyHeavySoul, Lane Boy. Also, the MTV unplugged is quite different but also incredible
Hey, I thought you might want to know where the name of the band came from. In school Tyler was discussing Arthur Miller's All My Sons, a play about a man who makes airplane parts. Some day he find out that some parts are broken and he's is faced with a difficult choice: he can sell them anyway or not. He decides to sell them because he needs money to support his family. The result of his act is the death of twenty-one pilots. In one of the interviews, Tyler said that the name of the band is to remind them to always do the right thing.
I am so loving that you dig these guys they are pretty amazing. I cannot wait to see you do Heathens or Lane Boy because those are both are so good! Great reaction BP!
Truly enjoyed your reaction BP! Thank you for checking out more TOP, one of my "top" three favorite band/musicians. My intro to them was many years ago with Lane Boy, I had to listen to that song at least twelve times before I could really grasp the cleverness, talent and artistry this band oozed! I was hooked!! Then dove into their catalog from the beginning, needless to say, they changed my world. Everything means something, lyrics are deep, music is fun, imagery/metaphors/symbolism galore. I'm strapped in and looking forward to the Ride!!
So excited to see you dive in! The Clique (fans of TOP) are anxiously waiting to see ur reactions. U picked up a lot for a first listen and the whole time I'm just like 'oh, wait til he hears this ____' !! A lot of us also know this song represents a time when TOP really took off, and the insta-fame and spotlight where a huge adjustment for them. They are two of the most humble human beings on the planet. Their music has so many layers and sounds. Ur def gonna love it all!! |-/ 💛
I love the reggae ish vibe of this 1! I never listened to them unless it came on in a store or something, but I've been listening to alot of reactions to them, and I'm becoming a fan!
It's great to see you doing what you do. Absolutely a pleasure to see. Because it's genuine. Both intellectual way and emotional. And you educate trough your perspectives. Good to know that 40 year old boys are back. Mucha appreciated what you do.
Tyler, the singer, is crazy talented. He plays a lot of different instruments. Josh, the drummer, is always playing drums. They are a two man band. Yet during concerts they will have other people playing with them. For genre's they don't really have one. It's whatever they feel like playing.
Also, worth mentioning is that they whole albums are one big story that you can follow through lyrics and videos. They don't just release music but also make great concepts of subjects that matter.
Would highly recommend Migraine, Heavydirtysoul, The Hype (berlin session) or the live version of Trees (from Fox Theatre). Such different songs, but if you want range - you've got it!
21 pilots have twentysomthing great songs. Their live performances are legend. Their acoustics are amazing. I'm older than you and a music lover. This group is amazing and cover so many styles. You will love them like ren
Love your reaction videos. This was a fun ride into this rabbit hole with you.. can't wait for more songs. Much love to you and your family and much love and peace to everyone visiting the channel as well.. ❤
Great review. Your gonna love these fellas. They are deep. In a good way. Soul searching real people type music. Hidden behind a DOPE beat and hooks and melodies
I just discovered your channel from these TØP reactions. I'm also an older dude (39) and I can honestly say Twenty One Pilots is my favorite group for multiple reasons but I hope you do more and explore their vast and diverse catalog. They are a genre of their own. Subbed.
Some other recommendations that I personally think are great from Twenty One Pilots is Heathens and House of Gold. Especially Heathens. It has to be my favorite song from their entire discography. Another good one is Heavydirtysoul (yes, it's one word). Hope you enjoy!😁
I have 7 twenty one pilots tattoos and I am currently working on a Ren half arm sleeve. They are both awesome and should jointly rule the world. 🤟❤️ Your reactions are sooo good 😊
I love seeing the crossover between TOP and Ren fans! Easily my two favorite artists. The Clique and RENegades combined would be a force to be reckoned with 😼
@@GarnetJ absolutely they have similar veins, Ren is the cheeky one 😉. Can you imagine if they did something together? Wow. You are my first person that gets them both. I can't wait for my tattoo.🤟
@@sarahsherriffs168 haha yeah, I think Tyler would totally vibe with Ren’s smartass punkish UK vibe. But I also like the fact that they both go deep and are very reflective about themselves and the world around them. All while pairing deep topics with uplifting music. Very different styles, but similar in a lot of ways. They both keep you on your toes not knowing what to expect next from them, but always confident that it will be brilliant.
They literally have 20 videos you could do back to back that are all fire. You're def gonna keep this train going cuz the TOP army gonna give you views AND the music is fire. Car Radio The Hype, The Hype Berlin sessions Lane Boy Heavydirtysoul Trees (live) So many amazing experiences
Great reaction! You’ll love Lane Boy, Migraine, Heavydirtysoul ….and of course I always tell people to start with Ode to Sleep to see their origin story right in the official vid.

I second Car Radio and I also bet he'd appreciate Lane Boy and what they say about the music industry!!
Car radio🎉 car radio🎉
What the one I want to say fields of gold but that's a sting song I think...
Tyler mostly plays piano but other instruments as well. You can’t really put them in any one genre. They are true artists 😊
Yes, their library is deep. One that kept coming to my mind was "Heavy Dirty Soul". He comes out hard right off the bat...you won't be disappointed.
Coming from someone who struggles with sleepy thoughts, living for somebody means so much more.
