    Jake Raby would tell you that gunning it after a cold start is a no no. Gotta get the oil up to temp first.

  • @FabspeedMotorsport
    @FabspeedMotorsport  11 років тому

    Yes removed the stock muffler canisters and replaced them with a bypass pipe that allows you to reuse the factory tips or you can install our deluxe tips for a more aggressive look

      Bill Mohr Super Pool The narrator should not have used the phrase "cold" start. This car had been driven a few seconds prior to the video clip and was at full operating temperature when it was shut off and restarted for the video clip.

      The 997 Carrera Muffler Bypass Pipes increase power by 21whp and 21 ft-lbs of torque.

    First time I’ve heard an exhaust note I want for mine! It’s really disappointing how quiet it is standard and how difficult it is to find a decent (AMG/Jag matching) sound!!

    Sounds tits. All the 911's ive owned with all the different exhausts Ive tried from Borla to many others, I have never heard a sound that good. I will look into that change for my 997.2 S .

    Hey Alex, any videos of the sound inside the 997? Just curious about the drone level.
    Ready to pull the trigger if it’s not too bad in the cabin. Thx!

    • @FabspeedMotorsport
      @FabspeedMotorsport  3 роки тому +2

      Unfortunately we don't at this time but from experience I can say it will have very slight drone at 2600 RPM but nothing crazy, definitly a liveable setup for a daily driver.

    • @FabspeedMotorsport
      @FabspeedMotorsport  7 років тому +2

      A good bit louder outside and in the cabin as you are eliminating mufflers. If drone is a concern it's not the best option but we have plenty of others! Feel free to call in and speak with one of our Porsche Performance Specialists to figure out what's best for you.

    You obviously are locked up in your parent basement or something, many people don't like Porsches. I also never said Porsches are for women, I have grown up with Porsches and I love them, so please keep your arrogant comments to yourself.

  • @ohmysoles

    No No No people it sounds like a tractor and not a car, and especially that ding dong sound doesn't go with the shape of any Porsche. Better off using this on Lambo..

    • @GaryDoctor1
      @GaryDoctor1 8 років тому +1

      +Zach Berse I had them put on, straight through pipes. As soon as the garage guy put them on, I started it up and drove home it boomed. You Couldn't hear yourself think! Few days later I had sports boxes and 200 cell AWE put back on lol. Ridiculously loud!

      +Zach Berse Muffler Bypass Pipes paired with other exhaust components can certainly induce a very loud, race like sound. We'd be happy to chat with you to help you end up with the sound you are looking.

  • @salvatoregiovanni8967

    You should actually refer to it as a "2005 911 S" and not a "997 S". It is still marketed as a 911, not a 997. 997 is only a Porsche internal model designation.
