I owe my passion to games like the early NFS and Gran Turismo games - there will never be works of art like these ever again.
Romulus 3 1:15:27 and Knossos 52:19 are for me like the signature soundtracks for NFS3 hot pursuit turned 40 this year and once they play, I recall pictures, time and emotions from back then. Especially as they had song segments that played based on the position on the track, so when all went well, this part of Knossos 53:46 started with the long air-time when going the bump and hill down on rocky pass. Somewhat rarely used nowadays to have short looping segments that subconsciously connect a location to a specific location on a level/track/map - they always do hard-changes of audio and track.

Rom Di Prisco - Pi (1:22:06) and Rom Di Prisco - Sirius 909 (1:26:37) and Rom Di Prisco - Romulus 3 (1:15:23) that was my JAMs
When did Sirus 909 come on? I dont remember ever hearing it.
Dammn, this squish tears of nostalgia hard... I had to drive 1100km lately and played this while being alone on the highway at night. amazing
Ohhhh the golden memories playing this gem in my first pc computer in 2000-2001🤩
redrock ridge is a classic @15:40
milkopilko
Yeah Redrock Ridge is one of my favorites
Hometown and Atlantica first then Redrock ridge :D
Rom Di Prisco- Cetus 808 all day!! Awesome
24:05 all the way!
it was really hard to enjoy that part, because you had to drive perfect.
After a crash the song resets....
This is FACTS!!!!!! I used to get so hype off this part of the track!!!!!!!!!!
Sirius 909 is a Legend....
Literally the best racing music ever. Still listen to it whole driving now. 😈
Getting PS One as a kid was the greatest gift ever.
By the time I inherited it, the machine was already a couple generations old, but I mattered not as I have a blast with it.
Up to this day, I own it and once I have a compatible TV I will play this masterpiece.
(together with "The Italian job", "Ridge Race 4", "Wipe out" and many more)
When I was a kid and I played this game, that yellow lambo sv always stuck with me. Its so iconic.... ah, good times
De todas as trilhas sonoras de jogos que eu já ouvi certamente esta é a melhor. As trilhas de "Need For Speed 2" e "Need For Speed 4: High Stakes" também são ótimas.
Saki Kaskas - This guy is a genius! All my favorite tracks from nfs3 was done by Kaskas. it's really awesome! So many times, i played Country Woods, Rock Pass and Empire City, just for hear the musics.
For me it´s Rom Di Prisco :D
remembers me of my childhood days :)
I have some need for speed songs in my car and that intro comes on I have to ignore every fiber in me saying floor it.lol!
Aha!
I'm so with you 😭
Rom Di Prisco - Romulus 3. Com certeza, pra mim a melhor trilha do jogo e que me leva pra dentro do jogo e me traz pra vida real no volante.
Damn I miss this game and its soundtrack. NFS has rarely come close to match the way this game made me feel. A masterpiece!
Ehyoooo we’re all back for the vibes 😮🎉
Love that acid influence, totally see where I get my younger music taste as I continued to listen to this mix 😂 it all makes sense now haha 😅
127 000 vistas es muy poco para esta gran obra de arte de OST, me atrevo a decir que es el mejor de todos los tiempos!
Hydrus 606 - 10:42 - whata tune!!
listening to this, especially the intro, was like finding your most prized buried deep somewhere in closet, wiping the dust off it and admiring it for many minutes :'-)
Deep meaning. 🤗

Rom is boss AF in this man AND he's a fellow Canadian! Awesome stuff for real.
this will never not be the best fckn racing ost ever made
anybody notice that the lost canyon track looks like a man holding a gun western style?
All the songs in this game are so amazing and Need for Speed III Hot Pursuit is still an amazing racing game ever made!!
This game brings back memories from when I was in my teens
Atlantica & Aquila were my fav tracks !! Used sometimes the cheat to drive the El Nino ^^ that was good memories !!
When that part starts with cops chasing you 9:10, you can feel the adrenaline in you body.
The 1st NFS game that I played. One of the best 4 many reasons including this epic soundtrack.
36:14 got me so hype.
I actually used to put those soundtracks on the car's radio when I made long travels! Believe me, it's better than coffee!
This is such a good idea. Might do this if I get a cool car.
Best game soundtrack ever. Nothing that came from a race game after this could make it to the same lvl of greatness. Thanks for this upload.
10:42
Hydrus 606 one of the best!
I played this game so many times, still remember some songs, thanks for the upload.
You're welcome, it is still my favourite NFS.
1:26:37 The nostalgia

+Nate w Aquilla 303, this soundtrack listen to Atlántica or Aquatica :,)...i' m playing this game now.
Sirius 909 (1:26:37) feels like i'm in space, my favorite song and my nickname in Need For Speed HP Remastered.

Rom does know how to handle the TB 303!! Superb use in every single track!
