I have a GSI Hyper P1 and the Ascher Artura Ultimate. Both are built equally well and both are great. I do prefer the grips and shape of the Ascher more and with the lovely dash integration it is my go to wheel.
holy smokes perfect video Constantinos. I just received my artura ultimate this week and can't wait to have a play with lovely dashboard for the wheel. I may or may not have some questions when I have a play :)
You do such a great work an your dash upgrades the Ascher wheel abolutely awesome. But the position of the rotarties is not dispalyed on my wheel. I do everything like you in the video and I use Sim-Hub 9.3.0, Lovely 2.7.0.1 and Ascher 1.2.0. Any idea what I can try to get it working? Greetings from Germany.
Hey I read somewhere a comment that some functions dont work with SC wireless wheel variant. But can't seem to find the exact comment anymore. Maybe it was more related to Simhub compatibility differences between the Artura SC and USB version. Can you tell me if there are indeed loss of functions if you decide to go for the non USB variant?
Indeed there are differences. This is due to the SC firmware not the Lovely Dashboard or Ascher. You can find the compatibility list here github.com/Lovely-Sim-Racing/lovely-dashboard/blob/main/docs/ascher-racing.md
Currently only wheels from Ascher, but Greywolf is being added shortly and I’m also trying to get Simagic on board too. I want to open this up to as many as possible.
@@LovelySimRacing My encoders on the Fanatec wheel do the exact same functions as the Ascher. Would’ve been nice to see the mode on the dash. Awesome dash either way!!
@@Wittygoose9341 TBH, it is a hard choice. I prefer the grips and rotaries of Ascher compared to GSI. GSI has better shifter IMO. One major advantage of Ascher is switchable keys, this is where GSI is seriously lacking. Both have printed key caps, For GSI, you either use the standard button labels or use custom service to customize it. If I have to pick one, I would pick Ascher just for button keycaps alone.

Thanks. Nice insight, visually I think GSI nails it but it’s a nice problem to have.
@@Wittygoose9341 I agree. The GSI is beautiful.

The latest versions have many ch ages which should work fine.
Currently at v2.7.5, for members.
Love the videos and new member, just ordered the Ultimate, how would one get a sticker sheet for the two rotors?
Will be announcing that in the coming weeks. Stay tuned.

Thats sick, does it work for other wheel's from other brands or only that one?

Simagic would be sweet 😍
Asetek would be a good one as well. They are welcoming to 3rd party integration.
That would be great.
how can i get those stickers under the rotory
Coming soon. Stay up to date in Discord lsr.gg/discord
Is this possible to do with a Fanatec Formula wheel?
Not that I know of. This would require a firmware update from Fanatec and us working closely.
@@LovelySimRacing My encoders on the Fanatec wheel do the exact same functions as the Ascher. Would’ve been nice to see the mode on the dash. Awesome dash either way!!
Wait, what? The encoders on the Fanatec are either Rotary (+/-) or Positional.
@@LovelySimRacing MPS mode = constant is 12 positional buttons on the F1 wheel
Exactly, positional switch is not only what the Artura does. It actually has three modes. Encoder, Positional and Modifier …
Happy GSI x29 owner here but will upgrade. Anyone here have experience with both Ascher and GSI wheels?
I have fpe v2 and Ascher ultimate. Both are excellent wheels. Let me know if you have any specific question
I’ve not had any GSI wheel so cannot really compare, but people that have both, swear by them. They are both excellent choices and hard to choose one.
@@rajeshkannan_swhich one are you more excited to use at any time usually ? I’d imagine the Ascher out of the those two ?

If any of you do pick Ascher, you can get 5% off using “LOVELYDASH” 🫶
