If Julius wouldn’t set off that bomb in Saints Row 1, The Playa won’t have to kill him. This is one of the best missions to get revenge on Julius and Dex.
the boss would've been killed by those people on the boat if julius had not set off the bomb
@@enexe6229 I agree
@@Superflytiki9656 yeah being in a coma is better than being dead because you might wake up
i don't understand julius was the leader of saints
@@ericdrummondjr7156 Julius was best friends with Benjamin King in Saints Row and they grew up together in Sunnyvale. Julius was a Vice King before he was a Saint. Then, he comes up with a new gang who won’t cause much trouble “The 3rd Street Saints”.
"...All we did was turn into Vice King that wore purple."
Jesus Christ
He was wrong. The Vice Kings didn't sell drugs, It was Los Carnales. Ben King Was a business owner.
@@dynastytarikterry1988 not only that but Julius was the one who order the Playa and Dex to take control of Los Carnales drugs and shippings. If anything the Playa deserved to get revenge.
He's got a point. Would have been an interesting switch up for the genre to play as urban vigilantes taking out criminals as opposed to another criminal sim.
@@agent4336that and Ben King was a better gangleader than all three gangs. Unlike the Saints, the Carnales and the Rollers, Ben King never uses violences, knowing that all it will do is just draw heat on the Vice Kings. Instead he just uses his connection with the police to put pressure on the Saints when they start to mess with him and he never got into the drug game. The only difference between him and Julius is that he doesn't command loyalty because two of his lieutenants betrayed him and staged a coup. But despite all of that, Ben King was a better and honorable gangleader than Julius.
Julius was right, all efforts to end gangs and violence in stilwater were effortless like he said saints turned into vice kings but purple
And later took over another city, a country, and a alien Empire

Julius wasted his breath being a hypocrite.
Volition missed the chance to make Dex the final boss for SR3. All this good writing made a quick left all because they were being called a "GTA clone" by fanboys and game journalists.
It's so unfortunate. I was really interested in the whole Dex thing, Ultror connection with the Red faction future, stuff like that. But they burned them to the ground. Not that I didn't enjoy those games, but I really wanted some closure on those plotlines.
@@Paur same, Saints Row was the reason I got into red faction series. My favorite was the Red Faction for PS2 and then they fucked up the series with Red Faction Armageddon.
Gta was a clone of driver
Saints Row 2 was legit the closest GTA had to a competitor. The Third threw that out the window.
@@MerlautJones hell, I honestly enjoyed Saints Row 2 more than GTA V. Volition had a good thing going on in the series til SR3.
This mission literally proves way this game is the best in the series. This was the most personal mission in the series and you can feel the tension and hate from the boss. A person who he trusted and even saved his life , tried to end his life when they made it to the top. Trust me I get Julius wanted out after everything but he’ll give the keys to the young top soldier. Also, the way he did everything was just straight up wrong and petty as hell. He got what was coming to him and he dig his own grave.
There was this persistent rumor that there would be a new Saints Row game that would ignore 4 and Gat Out of Hell and feature new saints against the old saints that would have become fully corrupted and evil. It would fit right in what Julius tells to playa on this mission.
It's crazy to see how much Julius has changed physically in just 5 years. And Dex, well don't get me started with him.
A lot of people talk about how Julies was right all along, but while he had a point, he was still delusional and wrong for trying to kill the boss. You think drugs would just never exist in the city anymore? That there wouldn't be casualties? Hell if he just walked away and left the Boss in charge, Stilwater would have been better off as the Ronin, Samdi and Brotherhood, all of which are more dangerous than the previous 3 gangs wouldn't have risen to power
It wasn’t just about the drugs, Julius wanted to get rid of gang violence.
@@masterjustin2246 But you can't stop gang violence because SR2 proved that even if you do take out certain games. There's always going to be others that are just going to move right into its place
So long, Julius
Saints Row 3 really should’ve been about going after Dex. Unfortunately that didn’t happen all because of the stupid GTA Fanboys calling it a clone.
Saints Row 1: Playa doesn’t talk much while running with the Saints.
Saints Row 2: The Playa became the Boss to run the Saints.
12:10
The Saints didn't just solve one thing, they kept doing drugs, killing innocent people the only thing that made us the Vice Kings in purple.
Julius had that one coming. He deserves it in the end for betraying The Boss. Troy is actually the one who saved the The Boss in the beginning of Saints Row.
Yeah after all he took out that VK member not Julius
I love the secret mission in Saints Row 2
All right Willzyyy you are doing the secret Ultor mission ❤
I have accidentally given julius car to one of the chop shop activites before, causing it to dissapear from my garages.
This mission is really epic the final conversation between Playa and Jules is just that strong and epic
In Saints Row 1, don’t call me Jules. You haven’t earned it.
TheProfessional made an excellent lore video on Julius
Another banger as usual, Willzyyy. Straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 , no 🧢. Doyo thang, mane.
After Julius is dead, now we gonna see who's the boss now
I like how you get payback on Julius for betraying you
John 10:9
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
>tfw the mission is unlocked already through DLC
I Remember this mission he wrong 😂🤦🏽♂️
Does anyone think that Julius is right about the Saints and the Playa? It would make sense in restore the earth ending in gat out of hell of why Johnny chose to restore Earth by the cost of wiping the Saints from history
In my personal opinion, the Saints should’ve been still a street gang rather than being a country and a alien empire
Just like old times playa
Is that Julius ?!
Yes it is
No, that's Keith David
Awesome and secret mission confirmed! Saints Row 3 and 4 are alright games, but they also could've been a bit more better if it hadn't been for those idiotic and rude GTA fanboys claiming that Saints Row is a GTA clone this and that, like come on! It's not a GTA clone! It's supposed to be either a GTA inspired game or a competitor to GTA! Those fanboys should be ashamed of themselves! Julius messed up and he payed the price for it big time and the boss and Julius did work together to stop the Masako too. At least Julius was redeemed in Saints Row 4 and his appearance has been reused from the first game. Major kudos to Keith David for voicing him so well though.
Saints Row and GTA are similar in some ways, but they're both vastly different from one another. To be honest, I only own Saints Row 2, original Saints Row 3 for PS3, Saints Row 3 Remastered for PS4, and SR4 Re-elected also for PS4, but I don't own Saints Row 1 because I don't have an Xbox 360 and I never played it before; I only watched gameplay of it and that was all.
For me, what makes this game iconic is how evil the playa is.
Then they made a him a goofball in SR3 and so on. I actually like playing as a scumbag because there are games that rarely let you do that besides the Postal and Destroy All Humans series.
@@agent4336 I agree with you, "freedom" can hardly be enjoyed anymore and I really don't know what will become of video games from now on
Julius was right about the boss, he’d gone of the rails and became what he didn’t want the gang to be
2:47 4:52
Wow that’s why he almost kill him week ago
Does anybody know whe i can kop Saints Row 1 for da xbox 360 in 2023? been lookin for a while
Imagine if Julius actually tried to talk Playa and Gat to disband the Saints.
I hate this mission because if complete this mission the game crashed by telling update windows Vista to 7 BUT I HAVE A RTX 3020
#41
I wish sparing Julius could've been an option.
I think it's better like this, because if he would return in the future game, who knows he would be badly written like Shaundi in 3 and 4?
@@ManavJith Well Julius did return in IV, but I was glad Carlos died cuz of what you mentioned. I feel like he was killed off too early, but still.
yurrrr first
