    That is a really awesome tree. Reminds me of a giant Willow tree I had seen a couple years back. Not with tons of cool flowers and such like this type, but the same draping and imposing beauty in a way. Really cool capture. Thanks for the share!

    Spectacular! But as mentioned, one of the more poisonous garden plants along with Euphorbia.

    Mine just died here in Texas because of the cold and snow. It was 4yrs old and 12ft. Never got a chance to flower. Now I can't find one for my mom...

      That's so sad 😭😭
      I could try and get some seeds (from the tree in the video) for you. Would that be helpful?

      @@cumbrianhomestead Awww that's very nice of you!!! But too be honest... I just don't want to wait another 4 years. My mom was happy because she thought the tree was going to bloom this year. We watched that tree grow from a seed given to us by my grandmother from Mexico 4 years ago. I think these trees start blooming at the age of 4 or 5 I think....

    That is an amazing tree. From what I’ve read in the comments it’s quite poisonous, so I guess I won’t eat it if I find one 👍. Absolutely stunning and I’m sure the bees enjoy the abundant blooms. Is the poison aspect a problem for wildlife or just humans?

    • @cumbrianhomestead
      @cumbrianhomestead  5 років тому

      PPG, you definitely wouldn't want to eat any part of a laburnum tree; bark leaves flowers and especially the seed pods. I think they're also toxic to dogs cats and other small mammals.

    the laburnum tree has a very showy flower, with one drawback.the seeds are highly poisonous. mind you, to date, no bees have complained. lol.....................brian
