His face when u said his hair was drier and coarser. Lol. So cute. My lil cousins are mixed and I wish I would’ve seen ur videos when lil cousin was smaller. Guess I’ll wait till she has a girl. God bless and keep up the videos
This channel is soo helpful to me! My daughter (Liliana- lol) is mixed race, 1 1/2 years old, and she has fine, curly hair. Finding cute, easy hairstyles for her hair, and products to use to keep it healthy has been difficult for me. But your videos are really helpful to see how products are used and which products do what. Thank you so much!!
I would recommend you try the blueberry curls hair milk or leave in conditioner. It works so well in finer hair. I style my sisters hair and we both have fine hair. This works so well. 💓
You should try making flaxseed gel. My daughter has the same hair texture and she has a sensitive scalp. The flaxseed gel holds the hair pretty good and moisturizes it great. I even mix aloe Vera gel in my flaxseed gel too.
MIXED if you get whole flaxseeds and put them in a pot with water. Boil it until it becomes a gel like consistency and then strain the flaxseeds and your left with the gel. Hope this helps.
Love your videos. My kiddos are mixed too and my son has thicker coarser hair and then my daughter has softer fine curls just like yours. Your videos are super helpful.
Thank you so much! My daughter is almost two!! Also, thanks for the tips! I have most of those products and wasn’t thinking to just premix it all in n old bottle. 🤦🏽♀️ haha
Jamaican black castor oil. Alikay naturals essential growth oil, lots of scalp massage, minimal hair washing (cowash once a week, shampoo monthly), I avoided tight hairstyles and started having her sleep on a satin pillowcase or use a bonnet. Half the battle is figuring out what the hair likes and then being consistent with it.
instead of cutting her hair when you find a knot, try using a fine tooth comb and combing it will work better. It won't make her hair uneven, which is what will eventually happen if you keep cutting it out

I heard u mention u don't wash for 5 days I wash my daughter every night but she is mixed and I am white and I feel like I waste so many products washing her hair every night but if I go a day without washing mine but it gets oily and ur Lil girls hair looks the most like my daughter's so I've been watching ur videos to get hair style ideas for her so thank u love ur videos but my question is should I not be washing everyday?
I think if it works for you you can wash every day. My hair gets oily if I don’t wash daily too but my girl’s hair can go longer. Lately I wash their hair 1-2 times per week which is enough to prevent product build up on their scalp. Maybe try every other day or just wet it but don’t wash on the days in between.
Kim Thompson i think she was two years old here. I don’t do her hair every day, I like to put it in low tension styles that can hold for a few days but also keep it from getting tangled because she hates having her hair deranged. I wish styles would last longer but they don’t.
@@mixed8348 my daughter is black (both husband and I are black). But her hair is very fine and loosely coiled (3b) unlike ours. It is frizzy at the end of the day so I have to do her hair daily (especially after daycare, it's a hot mess). How do i combat that? I use gel which helps but doesn't prevent frizz completely. She's 17 months!
So I have had to swallow my pride and just let it look crazy sometimes because it really helps to not manipulate it daily. I feel like Lillian’s hair didn’t grow much when I did it all the time. So I play around with styles that last on and just let it be fuzzy sometimes. Or do styles that can be redone without too much manipulation. I’ll try to post a video soon about this and I’ll let you know when I do because it’s been a journey. Lillian is 4.5 now and I have a 14 month old and I’m constantly trying to figure it all out.

How do you make it. I’ve been interested in trying this.

He’s so dramatic lol.
Love this, so simple but adorable on her! Reminds me of how you used to do my hair in middle school.
oneloveWren thank you!!! I like to keep it simple bc, let’s be honest, most of us don’t have time for intricate styles!

Thank you!! Every kid is different :)
Pink oil REALLY helps because I was more of a bald baby but that oil helped 😁

What products did you use to help her hair grow from the sides ?

Do you do her hair everyday? Also, how old is she in this video?
