THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am a white mom of a biracial girl and i will be honest i don't know the first thing about doing her hair. I am going to try this tonight!
Angie gillespie curly hair can definitely be challenging. It takes a certain kind of patience & TLC to manage :) wishing u a happy and healthy hair styling night 😃
What I do is only brush it when it's wet. Make sure it has plenty of leave in conditioner. I like the Pantene for African American hair. They sell it at Dollar general
This video is so helpful! My 1 year old son is biracial and I’m learning how to properly care for and style his hair. My son’s hair is the exact color and texture of your son’s hair, so your videos are very helpful to me! Thank you for sharing!!
I was basically doing the same thing, but separating it with my fingers was what I needed to know. Cantu is a life saver. Thank you so much from a single father!
Big thanks to you tomorrow is my son's photo at school and the barber was closed. And thank god I find your video as a single dad I was stressed and it help alot😅😊
Respect the transparency! Best products to use is Shea moisture & Cantù. Their products are more targeted for POC. Especially our curly textures. Always detangle the curls & OIL is your best friend for moisture and growth. Think virgin oils: olive, coconut, argan, tea tree and black castor oil.
I'm so glad I found this! I just started using the same Cantu curling cream after trying everything available for my son. His hair is so long and thick, it's hard to maintain but I love his curls. I've been trying to find help as to better define them rather than having the full on fuzzy fro. Now I know I don't have to be afraid of using extra cream! Now if only he would sit half as calmly as this handsome guy! Thanks so much💙
Thank you so much for watching!! So glad this video was able to help you and your boy :) It makes the time we spend making this content all worth the while! kisses XOXOX's
I have the same issue ... he barely lets me work through it 😒😒😂😂😂😂 I was afraid of using too much product now o know as well I can endulce a little more
Great video, thank you! I love that you showed how to finger coil slowly- I was missing that from other videos. Your baby is adorable with the cutest cheeks!
Thank you so much for your videos! My daughter has the exact same type of hair and I do not. She's one and a half now so I'm learning to take better care of it. Your videos have helped me so much to improve how I handle her hair.
Thanks for this! I am a Black woman about to have a biracial child (White dad) and even though I know how to handle my own curl pattern and hair texture, I want to learn how to do hair that is a finer texture with looser curls than mine, just in case my baby has hair closer to Dad's type. ❤
This is super helpful, I have a nephew who has super curly hair and I never tried styling or picking it. I spent the last five minutes YouTubing how to style his hair type! 🥹
Very good video..this is exactly what i do with my daughters hair. Im too rough when i braid, because im not very good at it. She sits still for this though.
I love your voice you sound so nice and loving 🥰💕 you sound like a good mom lol . I’m gonna try this on my son his hair looks crazy but he hates me combing his hair
My son’s teacher did his hair this way... in the beginning I was against it but now I love it! Everyone loves my baby’s curls especially now that they’re more defined. Guess I’ll keep it up awhile. Adorable son you have! Thanks for the tutorial!
I'm making the choice to love my children and style their hair my pos mom didn't for me. So all my life oh your hair is frizzy but used other words for that. I just dropped $50 on my 2 year old some hair products and special brushes. Thank you for these videos these are helping me to know how to do hair I was never shown how to do. And I'm 29. I just need to add products I guess.
Thank you for sharing. My daughter's hair has the same texture and I'm trying to figure out how to style her short curly hair. I've been missing the conditioning creme.
So beautiful!! I love the style much. I am a white mom and my son have similar hair so i want try today .... I just hope he can sit and endure! Regards from Netherlands
I finger coil my son’s hair but it gets so messy by the next day. I had a hair dresser tell me not to use too much product in his hair as to not ruin his developing curl pattern. I finger coil in much smaller sections because using larger sections didn’t look this good for us. You do it a litter differently than I do, but I might try your way to see if it’ll let his hair hold longer because I just use water and detangler every morning, but it would be nice to not have to do his hair every morning 😁
Omg my nearly two year old could never sit that long 😭😅. But I’m definitely going to try this with him! His hair is half turning into dread locks and I feel so guilty! I don’t know what I’m doing haha 🤦🏽♀️ definitely subbing to this channel haha
Girl I'm a white mama with a puertorican daddy and of course 2 out of the 3 have the curls that I have no clue what to do with I'll definitely be trying this on my son's hair. What kind of bath products do you use on his hair? I'm not sure what kind of things to look for to keep their hair hydrated especially my son's his gets dry soooooo quick and the frizz is real!
Question, my toddler is 16 months old and wondering if she would be alright with that living conditioner? As I know that the brand you used on their hair does kids line too.
Does the product dry clear? Thank you for posting this! I'm a white mom of a biracial boy and I have no clue what to do with his hair. Your son's hair is exactly like my son's.
what deep magic did you use to get him to sit still like this? thanks for the tip video! black dad with mixed kids here and no idea what I'm doing, can't wait to try this out. pray for me tho, my kids ain't got no home training
If you wouldn’t mind, I have a question about my sons hair. It is 3C low porosity and I feel like I wash it too often. I try to only shampoo once a week. Should I be washing it less? I also did an oil treatment 7 days ago
Awesome!!! Thank you (even I’m a bit late finding this video)! One question: aren’t you worried about product built-up on his scalp? Mine’s been scratching his head bad lately, i try to do the same but no idea why all the scratching
Vesela Strom I know what you mean because this style does last for 3-4 days & remains moisturized until then but from our experience my little one doesn't have the scratching. If so, I would simply wash a day or two before & place a little bit of tea tree oil mixed with olive oil in hand to give scalp massage. It'll aid with the itchiness & give a nice scalp rub for little one to enjoy 😌
I just had my first biracial child almost 3 months ago and I have no idea what kind of routine he should be having so here I am researching. Any tips on what I should be doing?
Pappy Adedeji Adeleye I️ would ask a Dr. first just to make sure. I️ began using different hair product in his hair since he was about 7 months, so I’d say so, yes. However, everyone is different so...
What about washing up the hair can uu do a video on that too plz n whT kind of products to be used like oily or just normal shampoo and after hiw long it needs to be washed thank you
Joanna Fernandez we use the shea moisture chamomile from head to toe. No tears and it smells amazing, softening up his hair, making it easy to de tangle while in shower.
well I tried but my son is not that patient and I had to do it fast, so it don't look that good and the hair on sides aren't holding properly. Impatience ahhhh 😖😖😖😖😖
My ex is half white and half west Indian. He can run his head under water and his hair turns out like this. Wish I could post a picture of his nice curls lol
I’m glad that many of you are finding this video helpful.

Thank you!! So simple and well explained ❤❤❤❤❤ so excited to try on my sons. They don’t want me braiding their hair currently
You’re welcome & thank you for watching! Key: keep them distracted while you do their hair
That look he's giving mama at the end, eyes just oozing love 😊😍
I'm having a mixed little baby boy, I've been worried about doing his hair because I'm so used to my straight hair, this will help me so much!

Our hair can be pretty simple to manage it’s just all about the products you use 😊
Very informative. I never knew finger coils were so simple. He is such a cutie pie!!!
Thank you, love. They are super easy!
Nice job mom he's ADORABLE 😍

This baby is biracial so OBVIOUSLYYYYYY
How do you get him to sit still long enough to accomplish this? I've been doing this with my 17 mo daughter but she hates it!
I’m mixed and so are my little brothers and our hair is exactly the same

Joanna Fernandez we use the shea moisture chamomile from head to toe. No tears and it smells amazing, softening up his hair, making it easy to de tangle while in shower.
Do boys wear their hair like this too? My son is biracial and I'm a total newbie when it comes to curly hair
AnnyLovesPink try looking up two strand twist

When do you think is best to do this, before bed or early in the morning?
Dezaray Negron i would suggest to do it early, that way the hair has time to air dry. Thank you for watching.
Kaysha Aura do you usually wrap it at night? I tried it last night and they came out AWESOME!!! so thank you soooo much for this !!! I subscribed ☺️😎
How often do you wash his hair?
