I like how Crusteeny's antennae are positioned and angled to make angry/determined eyebrows. It's really neat, and I can also fully picture an anime episode where one gets sad and its antennae droop with half-lidded eyes to change its expression.
Aw, I wish I would’ve been able to participate in this. As soon as I heard the prompt I immediately thought of a Pokémon to fit the Oxymoron of “Alone Together” which would’ve been a group of 7 rodents (mice/rats) that are Dark and Ghost types bc only one is actually alive…the lore I thought up is that they are born as a group Pokémon similar to Maushold, Exeggcute, etc. but they are hunted by Falinks, each of the 6 Falinks grabs and eats one with the 7th survivor then being haunted/protected by the ghosts of its siblings and becoming part Ghost type so it’s no longer weak to fighting

Yeah, I am still Not over lockstin calling umbreon the least creative eeveelution cause IT IS actually something original instead of taking inspiration of Something preexisting which IS the exact opposite of what I would think . . . . I do Love many Other Typs of Pokemon too, but No clear Idea what IT IS Like umbreon, kanghaskan, tragosso and mew and such are my Favorit in principle
Maybe some good video/series idea could have a prompt of predator vs prey, a prompt to create a regional form, unique evolutions or gimmicks, etc. Examples to further explain my ideas could be: The predator Pokémon pretends to be the prey, so it attracts it to eat it, and the prey pretends to be the predator so the real predator wouldn’t eat it. The regional variant prompt “This Pokémon’s environment suddenly became colder, so the Pokémon had to adapt to it”, and then they can draw an ice type Sandygast + evolution or any other Pokémon. And then the third prompt is probably self explanatory, but I mean like with how Shelmet and Karrablast evolve when traded with each other, Primeape evolves by using a move 20 times, and Wishiwashi has a gimmick to change form above level 20 and has above 25% health.
Harry is a master of Pokemon theming it's insane how much sense his designs just make, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Crusteeny just in a Pokemon game used by a champion because his crusteeny "made it big"
HarryGoldShow's work is truly next level, raising the bar for what's possible in future episodes. The level of creativity flowing in this series is inspirational! Definitely genna be some late-night design sessions after this episode. Love the inspiration behind all designs. So much care, creativity, and research to create these amazing Fakemons! Fingers crossed that some day PokemonCompany or GameFreak catch wind of these amazing Fakemons. They'd be a perfect fit to expand the universe! Really hope this will be the next step for Pokemon.
This gave me a perfect idea for one of these videos. "Malaphors" which is a metaphor said wrong. Some examples are "It's not rocket surgery" or "We'll burn that bridge when we get to it"
Hell yeah! I just left a comment on the last vid about how this is my favorite series from this channel. With the 10 poketubers make a fakemon coming in a very close second. Practically tied.
I like how some of these designs can lead to other oxymorons, like how the blind eye and one man band can lead to deaf ears and a one man army, respectively. A great means to further immerse yourself into the knowledge of contradiction is by reading scenes from the great bard, William Shakespeare.
I love Apollaunch, but I think it's funny that all the compliments were that it looked like it could be from all of these other franchises. I honestly think it would be cool for these videos just to be general monster designs and not be constrained to just Pokemon, but I understand that Pokemon is the theme of this channel and also probably performs better in the algorithm.
Your videos have inspired me so much over the past few months. I'm a huge Pokemon fan of like 15 years, and art hobbiest, and I never thought to try my hand at a Pokemon region just for funsies. Your "Ten People make a Pokemon" series was one I HAD to try with some buddies of mine, and it was so much fun to learn about new things for inspiration and think outside of the box. Currently I'm drawing along with you guys, trying to find something to fit the prompt. Keep up the inspiring work, and amazing job to the other artists as well, beautiful works from everyone!

i have been looking for a channel just like this and i thought i never would but here i am enjoying these videos of just artist really interpreting different styles and being so creative. i also love the fact that your group of friends are so fun to watch, its like i didnt just come to watch see a fakemon being created but actually getting a really good description of every aspect of the fakemon that was created. this channel is really funny, insperational, and so different from others I REALLY LOVE YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS.

NOOOOOOOOOOO I've had a steel wool pokemon idea for YEARS. Guess it was bound to happen if I didn't do it first lol. Mine was gonna be a commonly domesticated pokemon (one that you might see in your home kitchen at the beginning of the game). They roll around scraping residue off of surfaces or just collecting debris/trash in the area. Anyway, if anybody was gonna do their own steel wool fakemon I'm glad it was you ron!
4:47 Does it count as constructive criticism to say that I personally don't think it looks broken enough? Like, if it crash landed, I would think that would leave more of a mark... Maybe like, some black sooty spots, scrapes, dents, etc. Then again, that might make it look less "cute", so maybe you don't wanna do that? An awesome series would be to have three or four artist and each artist get 1 stage of the evolution up to a mega or gigantamax form. Maybe some good video/series idea could have a prompt of predator vs prey, a prompt to create a regional form, unique evolutions or gimmicks, etc.
Examples to further explain my ideas could be: The predator Pokémon pretends to be the prey, so it attracts it to eat it, and the prey pretends to be the predator so the real predator wouldn’t eat it. The regional variant prompt “This Pokémon’s environment suddenly became colder, so the Pokémon had to adapt to it”, and then they can draw an ice type Sandygast + evolution or any other Pokémon. And then the third prompt is probably self explanatory, but I mean like with how Shelmet and Karrablast evolve when traded with each other, Primeape evolves by using a move 20 times, and Wishiwashi has a gimmick to change form above level 20 and has above 25% health.

HarryGoldShow's work is truly next level, raising the bar for what's possible in future episodes. The level of creativity flowing in this series is inspirational! Definitely genna be some late-night design sessions after this episode. Love the inspiration behind all designs. So much care, creativity, and research to create these amazing Fakemons! Fingers crossed that some day PokemonCompany or GameFreak catch wind of these amazing Fakemons. They'd be a perfect fit to expand the universe! Really hope this will be the next step for Pokemon.

I like how some of these designs can lead to other oxymorons, like how the blind eye and one man band can lead to deaf ears and a one man army, respectively. A great means to further immerse yourself into the knowledge of contradiction is by reading scenes from the great bard, William Shakespeare.
I love Apollaunch, but I think it's funny that all the compliments were that it looked like it could be from all of these other franchises. I honestly think it would be cool for these videos just to be general monster designs and not be constrained to just Pokemon, but I understand that Pokemon is the theme of this channel and also probably performs better in the algorithm.
Your videos have inspired me so much over the past few months. I'm a huge Pokemon fan of like 15 years, and art hobbiest, and I never thought to try my hand at a Pokemon region just for funsies. Your "Ten People make a Pokemon" series was one I HAD to try with some buddies of mine, and it was so much fun to learn about new things for inspiration and think outside of the box.

i have been looking for a channel just like this and i thought i never would but here i am enjoying these videos of just artist really interpreting different styles and being so creative. i also love the fact that your group of friends are so fun to watch, its like i didnt just come to watch see a fakemon being created but actually getting a really good description of every aspect of the fakemon that was created. this channel is really funny, insperational, and so different from others I REALLY LOVE YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS.

Mine was gonna be a commonly domesticated pokemon (one that you might see in your home kitchen at the beginning of the game). They roll around scraping residue off of surfaces or just collecting debris/trash in the area. Anyway, if anybody was gonna do their own steel wool fakemon I'm glad it was you ron!

Maybe like, some black sooty spots, scrapes, dents, etc. Then again, that might make it look less "cute", so maybe you don't wanna do that? An awesome series would be to have three or four artist and each artist get 1 stage of the evolution up to a mega or gigantamax form. The artist that gets the first stage could draw there vision for the final evolution as well as see how close they were. Would love to see a video like this.
