My immediate first thought when seeing the Shrubble found footage and one of them saying it was actually friendly, was “three Phantumps in a trench coat.” I was not disappointed 😂
I didn’t even think of that but it’s legitimately perfect. Though if three Phamtumps wore a trench as to appear larger, would they try to make the trench coat look like a trevenant?(also I doubt that’s how you spell it but I I’m talking about Phantump’s evolved form.)
So genuinely thankful to be a part of this awesome series! I’ve watched every episode probably multiple times just because artists getting together (especially Fakemon artists) is just a good time! The Fakemon community has grown so much from Pokémon fans just taking a lot more interested in fan designs and a lot of Fakemon artists go beyond just making fan art so thank you so much! I hope everyone can find something to appreciate from what I made, it was a blast! ✨🔥

Quick Question: Serafin is kinda small with 0.2 meters. When i first saw the Fakemon i asumed it would be bigger since people saw it underwater. Why is he/she so small? :)

Love this prompt! Ancient depictions are some of the funniest drawings/sculptures ever made, and the spin of making fakemon the real versions of the depictions is hilarious! You guys did amazing and I’m glad to see my boy Bilsu here!

Edit: I *_love_* Scorchia/Thezferno. I had actually completely forgotten about the whole turtle thing surrounding Therizinosaurus and this is a great reminder. I love the thought that went into this design, and I think it would be interesting to conceptualise how Pokémon pelaeontologists millions of years in the future would reconstruct the fossils of current Pokémon.
I think this might be my favorite prompt from this whole series! I love how everyone was able to take the concept in different directions, really makes things fun to watch! Great video as always 😄

Instead of making a complete pre evolution for Turkulkan maybe it could have a Kangaskhan type situation going on where the chicks heads simply poke out of its mother’s clay tower just like the serpent heads do on the temple it’s inspired by
Thezferno and Scorchia are exactly what I love in a creature design! Cute, cool, and a clear tie-in with their typing!

It's good to see bilsu, this is one of my favorites series ever.
When I read the description of Serafin, and it called it “Angel of the Deep”, I immediately remembered that there is a group of angels called the Seraphim. When Serafin is said aloud, it sounds very similar to the word Seraphim.
I love all your videos, but this is by far my favorite series. I love seeing so many talented artists come together using the same prompt and coming up with wildly different ideas. Y'all are so creative!
Some Pokémon evolve into two different species, like slowpoke. What about two or more Pokémon that evolve INTO the same Pokémon, as if you flipped the direction of the arrows?

I love these same description videos and I enjoy seeing what all the artists come up with! I even started writing down all the prompts in each video so that I can see what I can come up with and so far I love some of the ideas for fakemon I've come up with. I'm not the best when it comes to drawing fakemon but I'll still try to draw my ideas eventually.
I love jack forgetting half the 2 headed pokemon and then specifically binacle the one MADE OF HANDS
Honestly, the first idea I had was a Two headed Sea Creature, but the other head was interpreted as a Tail, making it sound like it was actually a smaller Sea Creature. Jack's version is ultimately superior to mine.
SO happy to see Bilsu as a part of this! Loved everybody's work as always. This is definitely some of the best fakemon content on YT

I love these ones so much ! I love watching n0rtist so much, because I’m also a science nerd. As soon as he said “they can remember everything except what the Pokémon looked like” i immediately thought “Memory ! Hippocampus !!” And I’m SO glad I was right.

I love how Jack knew exactly what dinosaur fossil story that Nortist was referring to because Jack is a dino nerd and loves his dinosaurs
As a neuropsychologist, Hipnocampus is my new fav pokemon in the universe omg!!
Now I want a pokemon game where you play as an investigator/researcher that looks into similar stories/images to find out what the pokemon actually look.
Hipnocampus reminds me of a Warper from Subnautica.
Also as soon as i saw the fossil for the next one I immediately knew what it was somehow👍

I always love watching this series! These are what first got me into your Fakemon videos! And I think I have a good idea for a future drawing challenge: hidden pokemon. These would be pokemon that went unnoticed for a long time, despite being fairly abundant. But they were mistaken for something else, or were able to conceal themselves, or any other reason you can imagine! I think you and any of your guests could do some amazing things with that concept :D

6:55 Definitely would be a good regional bird for a Mexico-inspired region. I would be fine if it were in Mazah though (but not replacing Roadraptor, just another bird-mon to add).

I know this video is 9 days old but I couldn't help but to comment, the one that's a bird with a castle on its' back, the artwork reminds me of the stuff you'd see from Monty Python shows or movies, it absolutely hilarious!
I was just about jumping up and down when the therizinosaurus Pokémon was revealed. Soon as I heard it was a “turtle” I knew. Amazing job!!

This would be a good concept for a Pokémon region, you go on missions to find and catch certain Pokémon from exaggerated images of them. (The challenge isn’t to identify it, think of the bloodmoon ursaluna but a whole Pokédex)

And I Love that you all did a different type of depiction, whether medieval drawing, video clip, fossil, or a child's drawing?? It was just awesome the whole way through. And that's not even talking about the cool af designs themselves !! 😭 Turkeys, kuriboh, brain seahorse, two headed nessie ??? The creativity is off the charts. I really enjoyed hearing your processes and what inspiration hit each one of you to make what you did. It honestly gets me so pumped as an artist !!! I it waving at you despite not knowing why others enjoy it just for the interaction is downright to adorable. And the way they still get skiddish at human contact. how strange they must’ve looked from long distances their odd moving fingers seeming to beckon them in the distance. Just imaging getting to see one up close and it’s so much more fantastical than freakish and surreal. Hands was a trippy concept but it really does remind me too of how little they knew about sea life and how little we still know in a capacity
Turkulkan and Serafin are both incredible love how they're both small, really strong episode and those two knocked it out of the park. This was a great video

Brilliant prompt you could definitely do another episode just like this! Turkulcan is wonderful so well designed. Little Shrubble is excellent and I want one.
Chimarex kinda also reminds me of a Displacer Beast from Dungeons & Dragons, namely because of its cat-like body and that clawed tail, plus how funky it must've looked to a little kid.
I absolutely love these videos. They have actually inspired me to try an learn how to draw and get better at drawing ^^
For Shrubble, I think it would be super interesting to have a pokemon with an ability that can only take effect if you have another Shrubble in the party. The big foot form has great stats, but using it requires you to essentially sacrifice a team slot since if one faints the other can no longer transform. With Dodonzo and Tatsugiri pushing the envelope, it feels like something we could see
Honestly each of these videos is somehow better than the ones before it. These are always so fun and the art is always so great
