@@mrwess1927 What's wrong with cheating, The Devs put cheats in the game, and it makes the game more fun. The good old days of writing cheat codes on your notebooks.
Speaking of game breaking bugs, could you explain why and how 3d era GTA games break when you lift the FPS limiter (i.e. you swim slower than a loose brick in GTA San Andreas) in a future video?
Because the game's physics engine and some internal timers revolve around the game running at 25 FPS since it was originally built for the PS2. (Technically it could run at 30 FPS, but there is a hard-coded frame delay. Some mods like Silent Patch fix this.) The PC port added the ability to remove the frame limiter because many PCs are perfectly capable of handling games at higher FPS values than the PS2, and some people want the game to look smoother, but because it's only a port of the PS2 game, the higher FPS can mess up some physics and timers. So it would require rebuilding the game from the ground up as a proper PC game to fix many of the issues caused by uncapped FPS, which would just be too much time and effort for Rockstar to do.
There’s a bug where if you save your game in Madd Dogg’s mansion after the mission where you chase OG Loc, the game will bug and you won’t be able to do any extra things or events around the map. For example: you won’t be able to ever play basketball again unless you make a new save or restart your progress.
6:30 it's happening to me when i play the S.A. for the firs time, i litterally remain stuck for a lot of weeks, and i've try everything! It's was the first time when i feel the dead inside x.x

Almost 2 decades and you can still find more new stuff about this game, be it glitches or beta features, its indeed a blessing
and a curse.
Pedestrian Chaos is the most cursed cheat code.
Because it will (soft)lock your progress when saving Madd Dogg mission as mentioned in the video
back when body armor actually blocked bullets, now the body armor disappears in 3-4 shots
In gta online if you wear full bidy armor you still die from 3 shots. (It needs 2 shots to disappear)
Atleast it's not as bad as the ones in call of duty
I could watch videos on San Andreas for years and still love it! Such a timeless game!
9:09 Finally this bug is covered by this channel. One of the most interesting bugs in GTA SA.
Fun fact: If you save your game nearby a two player mission (using mods on PS2/XBOX/PS3) it's will be impossible play two player mode again.
Hello 2 player guy
2:17 props for pronouncing “marital” correctly. For real that’s what the sign says 😂
Oh wow i always wondered why my brothers savefile had these weird gang territories all over the map, guess someone went exploring :D
These are so good. I've probably seen a hundred san andreas "deep dive" videos but I always learn something new and interesting from you guys.
liked before watching because i know you always release quality content
The bugs and your explanations gave me goosebumps. Your videos are prime quality. Thank you so much.
2:17 Ah yes, the MARITAL arts gym, where they train you on how to officiate weddings. Getting the blackbelt from there can be tough.
Came here to find someone else who noticed this lol
oh man your channel amazes me, every now and then you give us new knowledge about this game which we had no idea about
When you realize you can start state domination with broken territories and take over San Andreas.
I just recently started San Andreas and now I can avoid the most of the glitches. Btw good video! Why isn’t Vadim over 1 million yet?
Definitely continue with these, very informative & fun to watch.
EDIT: I was also lucky enough to have played the PS2 version so I never knew the implications of flying off the map in Saint Marks Bistro mission 😆
Watching this kind of video is just relaxing sometimes, especially your sound man, makes me relax, and knowing things that could break our save game, but luckily, i'm not break the taxi mission.
Playing this game after school was something i looked forward to all day. I was one of the last people in school to get a PS2 so when i finally got one, I put HUNDREDS of hours into this game! One of my all time favorites, and the glitches made it even better. I wish they'd stand by their mobile port though... seems like itd be easy for a developer to patch the gamebreaking bugs that plague my favorite game...
Mobile is a Catastrophe . From the timecyc to the characters design .
I have been all over San Andreas lately, I'm even doing a final presentation on it! This could not have come at a better time. Looking forward to watching it!
“Wanna go out on a date?”
*brandishes gun*
“Yeah sure.”
*unloads clip on you casually*
My favourite part about that is the hand on her hip as she viciously fires the gun.
Never thought I'd get an explanation for those unusual gang territories on my PS2 save... Nice one!
CJ: *Fly out of map*
Vagos and Ballas: *Global Take Over*
this has been so much fun to watch
who are these people who tinker in the code of GTA SA and find all of this stuff?! this is wild
i certainly appreciate the passion :D
The moment I found out Madd's place broke ANYTHING I avoided it like the Ice-cream Factory in Vice City
What does ice cream factory in VC break?
@@kutazer0tdu727 you will softlock
If you saved at the Cherry Popper factory it would corrupt your save on the original version, idk if they fixed it with the updated one that came in the trilogy or not but even on the current gen remasters I still avoid that place
@@MasterGame575 no it would corrupt your save and make it unable to be played
Definitely wanna see more. BadgerGoodger is great, and these videos are always interesting
Back in like 2006 that bug where madd Dogg kills himself instantly happened to me, At first I thought I Wasn't fast enough, then I thought no somethings gotta be broken
Looked it online in the local library (because my dad never wanted me on his computer) and the best response I found was that
It's something that gta sa does to you, if you "use to many cheat codes in the story"
So I reloaded, started a new story and didn't use any cheat codes for fear of being "punished" again and up until this moment I have lived believing that,
Thank you for giving me the truth some 15 years later
I remember reading that too in the past. I had read that it was caused if 100 or more cheat codes where used so I used them sparsely in fear of breaking that mission.
@@manueltoscano2074 that’s true. I used at the most 40 whenever I was low on health and the game still progressed fine. It’s the riot cheat that’ll instantly break your save game
Dad didn’t want you looking at his 🌽
It's a good day when new videos of Vadim and BadgerGoodger release, hell yeah! I really hope the new remastered versions of the games will have the same bike-physics as in GTA San andreas and those games. I REALLY hate how they messed up the feeling of bicycles and motorcycles in both GTA IV and GTA V, zero fun. I used to spend HOURS as a kid (and still do) just driving wheelies, stoppies and doing huge bunny jumps with the MTB.
I hope a 2nd part of this comes soon.
I wish this channel would upload more. Really can't get enough.
Gonna be honest. The Tow truck line got a laugh out of me
Just discovered your channel and it's easily one of the best.
So informative and professional👍
4:50
"Yo bro I told you to sell me 500 grams of crack, not 250"
Lol
The broken gym activity actually happened to me in mobile a few months back and I was so confused as to why. I searched a lot in different websites, no luck. Until now thanks to you.
Also, the missing basketball also happened. same version in mobile.
i remember the madd dog mission as a kid , I had a feeling the game was broken , it was frustrating though cause I worked so hard to beat the game
Cheater
@@mrwess1927
What's wrong with cheating, The Devs put cheats in the game, and it makes the game more fun.
The good old days of writing cheat codes on your notebooks.
@@clashoclan3371 if you put in the riot cheat it makes the game unbeatable. R1 r1 circle r2 up down up down.
Always happy to see new videos like this! Would love a second part.
"When you approach your girlfriend, wear body armor"
Yes, badger, I have dated before.
Nice video Vadim and Badger! Looking forward for the 2nd part ofc :)
Speaking of game breaking bugs, could you explain why and how 3d era GTA games break when you lift the FPS limiter (i.e. you swim slower than a loose brick in GTA San Andreas) in a future video?
Yes
Hell, this a good idea
Definitely a part 2 & I would like to also see this with other GTA games as well
His voice is so catchy. Interesting video with good montage, can't wait for the 2nd episode
I remember as a kid flying really far out the map and then later taking over random territory in San Fierro haha
Dude, you're one of the best creator content of GTA.
There’s a bug where if you save your game in Madd Dogg’s mansion after the mission where you chase OG Loc, the game will bug and you won’t be able to do any extra things or events around the map. For example: you won’t be able to ever play basketball again unless you make a new save or restart your progress.
Well.. they did mention this in the video, not sure why the comment.
The first bug got me as a kid, i didn't understood what was going on is so painful to watch today remembering the struggle to play the game lol
I missed this
Instant tap. These "documentaries" are pure gold. Thank you.
6:30 it's happening to me when i play the S.A. for the firs time, i litterally remain stuck for a lot of weeks, and i've try everything!
It's was the first time when i feel the dead inside x.x
Great video, excellent analysis. Can't wait for pt. 2!
20:40 this bug happened to me 7 years ago. I was so frustrated and I could not anything related to this subject in my native forums.
That happened to me on android when I kept pausing and resuming the game. I ended up killing T bone to restart the mission.
We do want to know more about it, please bring part 2
2:02 that happened to me before when I was younger and I would laugh so hard lmao
Lol
Very good video. The 28 minutes felt like 10 :D
*The first bug happened to me in Vice City and I had to make a new save file, because it was legit impossible to play normaly.*
One of many thing that i love in this game is, their cutscenes are the same actual scene that driven by script, not short video or stuff
I confirm the "Madd Dogg" fail mission bug because of cheats: I was 11 and i couldn't believe i had to restart the story to actually... Be able to end it lol i probably needed other 2/3 years to finish San Andreas because of that lol
This video was actually perfectly timed cuz now i know about the board bug before i even started the export import, and i know my bad luck so good thing i can avoid it now thanks to you
