Recently, a new strategy was born in GTA: San Andreas that has enabled speedrunners to beat the game in less than 20 minutes. This strategy is mind boggling, and hopefully this video can help you understand what is happening.

At 6:51 you say that the OnMission value is zero and at at 7:06 you say it's 1. What am I missing? Awesome video btw, thanks!
This reminds me of Dark Cloud any%. Basically, you do a lot of nonsense actions that manipulate a specific variable to a specific integer that, when you soft reset the game, the credits play on either start up or when the file is loaded (can't remember which) basically we're doing the same thing here in GTA.
Whenever you receive a call it sets OnMission to 1.

San Andreas speedrunners will remember this like regular people remember polio vaccine.
to anyone wondering how this sort of stuff is found, it roughly goes like this: they reverse engineer the game, starting from the end. what code triggers the start of the end of the line mission? okay, lets use some custom software on this emulator thatll listen for and display what functions are being called when a mission is being loaded. narrow it down until you find the function that's calling variable that'll let the game know which mission it should be loading. from there, how do i manipulate that variable? *weeks or months later* oh cool, glitching this mission in this specific way can affect that variable, but how do we get it to the right value so it loads the right mission? so on and so forth until you have this video.

@@olzhas1one755 have u even watched the video?
@@skoapiee yes he did. Except the video explains the strat in english language, not reverse engineering code language lol
@@olzhas1one755 not hard to break? lol. it's not just a bunch of random glitches a dude strung together, or just trying random shit until he gets a skip. they reverse engineer the game, starting from the end. what code triggers the start of the end of the line mission? okay, lets use a listener and see what functions are being called when a mission is being loaded. narrow it down until you find the function that's calling variable that'll let the game know which mission it should be loading. from there, how do i manipulate that variable? *weeks or months later* oh cool, glitching this mission in this specific way can affect that variable, but how do we get it to the right value so it loads the right mission? that so on and so forth until you have this.
