I love this game, it's my childhood, if you ever do this again to get all 4 promotions, here's my suggestions 1. Use the Pro Car, the loose handling is actually better to slide around turns and get spun around in traffic so you can pinball into other cars 2. Use the Power Steer button for those hairpin turns, so you can simply tap the brakes and not slam them 3. USE THE PITS --- if the track has them, use them 4. The AI is programmed 3 ways: race to win, race recklessly, camp for kills --- if you DNF, the points wont reflect how the race actually went. When you're in Div. 1 and 2 it's best to race to the front and let the AI campers mess up the cars that you're pack racing with before you start gunning for points so you dont fall ALL THE WAY BACK 5. Tracks with no pits(CCR, LC, SCA:UD), it's best to camp and collect the points early. Get a big pileup started and then wait for all the radiators to start smoking then get 3 or 4 kills as they zoom by long straights or slow turns and you'll have nearly everyone wrecked and if you're lucky, you can push the top 3 back behind the finish line and it'll put them back on the final lap(assuming they wrecked and didnt do extra laps after finishing) and you can steal their positions 6. Never drive to the center of the DD events, and always drive in reverse until you're tire markers get red. There's always 7-10 cars programmed to run into you. If you position yourself right, you can zoom in circles around the barrier and watch the cars fly their front ends into the wall trying to ram you Bonus - sometimes random brake checks can get you some points amidst the chaos it can cause. Hitting a moving car is always safer than a stationary one
I completed this in stock car racing some time ago, because I couldn't figure out how to win on wrecking. Then I decided to start casually wrecking championship on my phone's emulator, made some mayhem and won the race :D
best first corner of the game.. 2nd best track in the game. its like the final corner of chalk canyon but all cars are still bunched up from the starting formation
BSV is glitched up, you can reverse 180 from the start line and get like 150 points, if you tap cars through that first corner you rack up points like a pinball machine
They just don't make games like this anymore they really don't. Wreckfest was great but it didn't have that amazing FUN pick up and play and killer OST compared to DD2. Remember "MACSrPOO"

this is 10 times more fun then wreckfest. the speed, camera movement, handling is so perfect for fun
