My papa called the Modern A,as it was modern when his papa got his. He ran it on kerosene, gasoline pump head gas, gas was rationed as there was wwII going on, and in west Texas you could go to pump jack in the oil field and get head gas for free as his brother worked in oil fields as did papa. Grandad was a sharecropper on a huge ranch. I digress... Progress is such a pain in the butt, sometimes. God bless you and your loved ones Godspeed
Always good when the fleet is all running and moving. And cold a/c is always good too. Look forward to seeing the work start on the Formula 'bird. Be safe and stay well.
Right on sir since we ain't both on first names.... right on right down to the exit i guess is what they call it cause it all ended quick and no please nothing cause by now people should know. I leave this house for about two an a half hours one day a month for my treatments at the hospital and they get out the scalpel an snip off different parts of my useless legs. I always get the "Oh your just looking better"..... blow smoke up someone elses backside. I would buy merch if I was a little more solid on flow of my money going where I want it to. I never see anyone but my dog and a keyboard linking me to nice people as you all. I want to see Little man take a real interest in cars. Right now is as close as we have to him starting and it has to be his own idea, it don't hurt to be subliminal on some great idea son moments. You guys try to get through the heat wave and have some fun even if its in a creek
Love the fleet but the 72 Firebird is my favorite, I guess because we had a 70 formula 400 black with white interior back in the day. My wife loved that car and drove it like she stole it!! LOL Take care
Carolina "COLD" starts?? Don't know about up where you live in NC, but here in Winston-Salem it's not been much below 80 for the last month! Maybe it should be Carolina HOT starts? LOL
Always hated them donut gaskets on most GM stuff, mainly Chevrolet, those daggone things was always blowing out, on just about every old Chevrolet’s I had, trucks and cars. I hated them mainly cause they were a pain in the butt to change and you was liable to break one of them exhaust manifold bolts off where the donut gasket goes.
Up here in Minnesota, that poor starter and battery would REALLY suffer in Jan. An e!electric fuel pump IS NOT That big a deal. That starting system has to deal with your excuses.
Dear @@MrHevyshevy Thanks for replying. I guess that's exactly what great Jay Leno and Coldwarmotors thinks too. ;-) Best regards, luck and health to all of you.
Need to drive those old rigs more!
I put battery disconnect switch on the ones I don't get to every week or just disconnect the battery.
I always enjoy watching your videos and seeing what you and your lovely family are up to.

Quite the fleet you have Mr H!
I sure do miss my carbureted chevy...👍 From Cadillac Michigan

You caught that. Haha
Awesome fleet of vehicles you have there sir!!
Thanks.
@@MrHevyshevygreat video
I think the only reason the blue truck ran was Cus when you jump started the firebird, and then the firebird charged up
Too many ve-he-cals methinks.
But those engines sound great!😁
That 55 is sweet 👍👍🇨🇱
MrHevyshevy, The Old Girl still runs good even after sitting. You’ll get it fixed in no time. Same with Julie The Dually.
Nicely done 👍
Thanks 👍
They look like barn finds tucked in back there.
That dadburn cat's gonna scratch the paintina on that 'ol truck!
You need to build a pole bàrn for all your toys.

She was just mad. Not having been run lately.
You know I couldn't help but notice the fastest starting one of the bunch was a Ford 🤣😂
Oldest too
@@MrHevyshevy
Weakest battery too. ;-)
you know old fords never die or want to
MrHevyshevy, you need several fo those cheap Harbor Freight battery tenders and you won't have all those dead batteries.
Don't you dare get rid of Julie the dually, i think it's just me but the dually is my favourite, if i wasn't UK based i would be buying it off you!

I bet she loved it.
Take sos pads and clean the rust off the 55 Chrome steering wheel . will come out like new 👍🇨🇦
The little battery maintainers are great, and pretty cheap at Harbor Freight.
Love the firebird
Thanks. Me too.
Be careful you don’t get frostbite doin those Carolina cold starts.
I use caution at every turn.
To many cars! To many projects 😅. Maybe it’s time to donate july the dualy to me? 🥰🥰😅. Keep up the good work! Greetz again from the Netherlands
Car❤😎👍👍
Need some battery maintainers on that fleet 😁
I wish someone would sponsor me for em. Haha

Haha. It’s my little joke for my northern buddies.
In the 66 is that still the 283 that little miss built?
Yep
Its hard to get rid of stuff when youve worked on it n know what you have?
you need several more vehicles. you don't have nearly enough.
👍👍😊

4:53 this car will run? Or no Mr Heavy Shevy.

You can't read the speedo when its in park. Smart. You don't need it then.
Exactly.
You do all these projects and ya cook too??
I even clean some.
Mrs Hevyshevy is one lucky woman!!! 😁
You need to get a bunch of battery tenders if you're going to keep a menagerie of vehicles you don't drive regularly.
That’s a kitty cat want a cat
I guess somebody simply has to much vehicles!? ;-)
That’s impossible.

As Waylon Wire would say: "Potato, potato, potato, potato"....The background sounds of your videos are starting to sound like "Elderly Iron.
Have you ever thought about putting fuel injectors on one of your trucks?
Only for the tiniest of seconds.
