      Hey, thanks, I tried it and it came out great. Such a simple and relaxing method. I knocked out one of the crusader intercessors in an evening. Learned a lot from painting him with this method and preferred it to how my other test model using Duncan's guide on these particular fellows turned out, though that one does look more intricate but he is quite sloppier and messier overall (I need practice).

    Hi, i’m hoping you would be willing to help. Im new and am painting Deathwatch and I’ve been doing an edge highlight of eshin grey and the using fenrisian on sharp corners. This technique does not seem to give the same sharp result as GW shows on boxes. Do you know how GW does the highlighting on the deathwatch boxes? I saw your short on highlighting black armor but it looked way different than the boxes. Thanks!

    • @ThePaintingCoach
      @ThePaintingCoach  2 роки тому +2

      Eshin grey and fenrisian grey are two different types of grey.
      Fenrisian is cold and eshin is neutral. If you start with eshin, you generally want to go with dawnstone and administratum grey.
      If you want to use fenrisian then start the highlights with dark reaper, then thunderhawk blue.
      With all that said it's really important you practice your brush control to get those sharp highlights - hope that helps!
