İt is so fast and easy but ı had a problem when İ make a new caption in anew chapter it keeps numbering according to previos chapter for ex. instead of fig. 2.1 , fig 2.15 becuase last fig. was fig 1.14. Can help me with this? normal numbering is not working and keeps giving (Error! No text of specified style in document) but after ı used the way you gave in that video everything was solved expect the problem ı said it above
I found a solution using your way in that video. I made two models for figures, first one is used when moved to a new chapter and the other model is used after that untill the end of the chapter. The difference between them is the field code of figure number. for first model, SEQ Figure \*ARABIC 1\s1 for second model SEQ Figure \*ARABIC\s1 . First model will give you only number one and will keep changing the chapter (Figure 3.1 ,Figure 4.1....). Second model will give normal numbering. I hope you got it. please tell me if there is easier solution.
