    I tried this recipe tonight. I only made enough for a few bars to try and the batter was so creamy. Can't wait to try this bar. Love your videos Sara :-) Mine never looks like yours but only making them for me LOL :-)

      @@shellshock10 Yes I did and I love it. I made me a 1 lb. batch and because of the bentonite clay it really makes it slide. It's very bubbly too. I like it and will make more when I run out of my 6 bars. I have tried several of Sara's recipes and I really like them. I learn quite a few things from her video's.

      @@barbaraayala7808 how was the lathering? Did it stay on for a while? I’ve read that clays damage the blades, it doesn’t really matter on safety razors, but on a straight razor it would mess it up pretty quick. Im going to try and make some just to see how they come out. Thanks :)

      @@shellshock10 Oh no I haven't notice my razor getting dull yet. The bentonite clay makes it really slippery and it's also really bubbly. I've had no problems with it at all. Just try a 1 pound batch like I did, and see how you like it. You can even make a 8 oz batch and it'll make about 4 round bars.

    • @sarassoap
      @sarassoap  2 роки тому +1

      No i wouldn't for this specific purpose, but if you want to make a normal soap you could change palm for shea. Just run it through a soap calculator every time to make changes. Does this help? Is it the first soap you make? Let me know hugs

    I looked up the recipe and it also uses cocoa butter, did you forget that on the list or is there another recipe I missed? How does it lather? Many other soapers say it’s not really a shave soap and you have to use 2 types of lye? Is that true?
