In this short film, we revisit Scotty, one of Pobl’s Housing First customers who spent six years living on the streets of Newport, battling addiction and the challenges of homelessness. In 2021, Scotty took a life-changing step when he moved into his own flat with the support of Pobl's Housing First Team.
Now, three years later, we reconnect with Scotty to reflect on his remarkable journey. He shares candid insights into his transition from homelessness to stability, his ongoing recovery from drug addiction, and the support that helped him rebuild his life. Through his story, we explore the power of Housing First in transforming lives and fostering hope, resilience, and a sense of belonging.
