I’ve wanted to come up with a unique Titan build to rival the well-known Consecration spam build that has become so popular, and today, I’m confident that I’ve created exactly that! Today’s build focuses solely on maintaining and abusing the brand new Void Aspect Unbreakable, which in my opinion is a real hidden gem. This Aspect augments your grenade into a personal shield that can be charged and released to deal devastating damage, and with the right setup becomes a very fun and engaging way to play the game. We are of course also pairing this with the Arc Aspect of Knockout for easy Amplified procs and healing on melee kills, which just bolsters the setup even more. To enable the ability spam required we must first choose either Heart of Inmost Light OR the Stoicism Exotic Class Item ideally with Spirit of Inmost Light and Spirit of the Armamentarium, because this way we gain the regeneration benefits of HOIL as well as an extra grenade, which in turn means more Unbreakable procs. Combine this setup with optimized stats, a suite of well-picked Fragments and complementary Artifact Mods you have yourself a build that’s capable of excelling in ANY level of content, and I mean that. Using Buried Bloodline is the cherry-on-top as this allows us to maintain a Devour loop which feeds into our Grenade energy gains even more, but fret not, if you don’t have it you’re still able to spam abilities well enough, like I said, it’s just the cherry-on-top. Unbreakable needs a buff in damage and utility, but I’ll definitely take advantage of the thermite nade bug:)

@@chungusultimate the dungeon is pretty easy though and it gives pinnacle gear for every encounter. So you'll be leveling characters while also getting 2 extra chances at the exotic a week. I stopped counting the amount of times ive ran the dungeon on all 3 characters but still no luck. You NEED to run it on all 3 if you want to get it before retirement😂
Unbreakable only charges from receiving damage, just holding it won't charge it. If just holding it could charge it, it would honestly make the ability a lot more usable.
I’m pretty sure it does charge if you just hold it the entire duration, I know it functions that way in PvP

I feel if unbreakable had a little more going for it then I think it would be solid, make it so melee kills while over shield is up gives a small amount of grenade energy. Thermite damage should also be baseline or at least meet midway for the damage.
I've been using Unbreakable almost exclusively since launch, and it felt so weak at the start, but it feels better and better the higher difficulty I use it in. Grandmaster nightfalls and master dungeons it feels good and has come in handy so many times for survivability and reviving. It makes you feel like a real titan to jump in front of teammates and hold up a shield to protect them. But it does feel lacking considering it takes up 1 of 2 aspect slots.
I will die on the hill of "it needs to be tied to class ability" though. I love the interaction with facet of dominance, taking a pulse grenade, and getting the choice to both jolt and weaken as necessary, but it doesn't make any sense to tie it to grenades, it feels like a mobile version of a towering barricade, and it would work better treating it like that, and it would provide so much more synergy with the void subclass tying it to class ability as well. That and letting it provide an overshield to nearby teammates would go a long way to taking it to the next level imo. Plus there could be more synergy within Prismatic and with other exotics as a whole.
I'd like to see how it plays if it blocks damage, and the end you can send a Drengr's Lash out buffed by abeyant leap, or a Khepri's horn if you want to go damage (or both with the exotic class item), or Loreley's sunspot restoration at the end, etc etc. I feel like it would open it up for so much more utility and make it more aspect-worthy as well as giving more exotics another use case.
But if they leave it tied to grenade, then i agree, the damage needs to be upped. You are sacrificing positioning and ranged damage to get in close to deal damage, it should reward you with much higher damage to compensate for that.

if you are looking for a weapon to quickly fill your darkness bar with, lost signal is kinda broken in that department but im not sure if double adclear is the play
The call with demo one for all also builds it up well and pairs with unraveling rounds which amplifies darkness generation even more as well as great aoe.
If you're running double ad clear, I'd go tusk of the boar with buried bloodline. Im not to worried about transcendence though, so I run mountain top with buried
I've been using this for so long now and it's so good as soon as the thermite bug is patched I won't wanna play titan anymore but as of now it's my favorite
I've been running this build a lil bit now and the khovostov boy oh boy adds so much to this build. The more enemies the better and I'll sometimes clear whole activities just using khovostov until the boss. It drops so many orbs. Spamming abilities. All of them. Super prismatic. Everything and the more ads the better the build has been working. Love this build and it could only get better for me because I don't have triple 100 stats lol
ive tried with hoil+syntho, if you guys dont have burried bloodline and have "the call" crafted, you can use that. the call can run demo and its really good. Thank you for the build, been loving all your contents! keep up the good work!
Bro I needed this. I LOVE Titan, favorite class that I can’t fall in love with lol. I love the super space soldier identity and was a code of the commander user before the 3.0 updates. The constant push to melee really turned me off from the class, but THIS my friend, oh yeah, thanks for making it.
I would use this....if it wasn't a guarantee that Bungie weren't going to remove the glitch and then nerf unbreakable and thermite for good measure
Small note: One firepower mod has a cooldown of 10 seconds so you'll only be getting an orb every 10 seconds with unbreakable, great build as always!
If they end up nerfing thermite bug people are gonna be pissed since titan needs anything they can get right now
Just got into the game three weeks ago and got my light level to 1992. Was worried this buried bloodline grind would be bad but I got it first try. Looking forward to trying this build out.

if you're going to look at hazardous propulsion i'd suggest also trying a rapidfire sniper + dragon's breath + ember of singeing + H propulsion for maximum rocket damage boost uptime
Fun fact, the Unbreakable aspect will also take advantage of things like "Void Grenades weaken targets", at least when used on the Void subclass. Haven't done extensive testing to know if that will up the damage of the Unbreakable blast or just provide the weaken effect for follow-up damage with weapons/other abilities. But, something to keep in mind.
Can confirm after trying this that the abilities return very quickly with just normal HOIL exotic chest piece
As a titan main since D1 who plays endgame heavy, I can happily say this build is insane. You snpped Llama.
After almsot 2000 chests, 23 class items, 19 unique, I don't have this role, or any of the main decent rolls. Been also farming WR for the BB, but still no luck.
Same. Probably close to that number of chests opened and maybe 15 of them I kept. Literally half of my rolls are dups of what I already have

I’ve been using this ever since I got stoicism with bear on it. I was using armamentarium on its own first and it was still good
SO glad to see this build being showcased. Been running this since the first week Stoicism was available. I was more excited for Unbreakable than anything else with Final Shape, and I've ran it since day 1. One of my first drops of Stoicism was inmost and armamentarium. It was truly, meant to be. (but stop telling everyone about our Thermite grenade bug, Bungie is gonna hear about it!!!)
Unbreakable is a double wammy if you use facet of dominace. Use a pulse nade and now you can jolt with that or hold grenade button to get an over shield and weaken targets. Bc the shield is void

I have this roll on my class item as well its wonderful. Pure ability spam for any level of content. Can’t stop running consecration though lol. The fragment that increases ignitions and shatter effects is too good. Try stasis titan as well it destroys with that fragment as well.

Just got an inmost light armamentarium roll earlier. Used diamond lance and unbreakable. Finally felt like a genuinly viable non melee build. Not as good as the melee builds but I could take it into a gm without feeling weak
Unbreakabale is really fun and has good endgame potential don’t know why people don’t use it, but there’s a big with armamenterium where you don’t get shields but it’s longer
Will you be doing a dps rotation comparison on witness for specifically warlocks and titans?
I don't have the inmost/arma roll yet but I tried it with inmost/verity, you have to keep up the solar weapon kills but the unbreakable damage gets crazy. I then just tried it with Inmost by itself and it felt a lot more comfortable than using verity and the damage was still good because of the second half of the actual inmost exotic. Cant wait to try it with two nade charges!
Wouldn’t frenzied blade feed into inmost light ability regeneration more since you have up to 3 charges

You don't want to use thruster or melee first because your grenade energy is already full. As soon as some of it is depleted, that's when you're going to want the regen from hoil. Also, as soon as you use your grenade, the grenade regen from hoil goes away in order to buff melee and class regen. Get devour then begin ability loop with grenade would be the optimal way to play.
Knockout is basically useless if you already have devour, (especially if most of your kills aren't even melee), so might as well use both triple consecration and unbreakable if you're running buried bloodline.
Pretty sure its for the utility of being amplified for simply getting kills
If it was normal HOIL, then getting empowered grenade x2 would make sense for the +35% grenade damage, but otherwise you'll want to focus on buffing it's regen after it has already been used, considering grenade empowerment is consumed when you activate the grenade ability.
Important things to consider:
With HOIL, any powered melee will trigger empowerment, which means every time a melee ability deals damage or punches while knockout is active. The scorch ticks from the first half of consecration repeatedly activate hoil's perk, so only using the first half of a melee charge can keep you at x2 class and grenade regen for several seconds. Finally, pairing this build with an enhanced demo + pugilist weapon will further help to maintain your ability loop. Breakneck is kinetic but can get this roll. Rufus's Fury gets pugilist hatchling, (threadling kills also grant melee energy), which would be great for dark transcendence energy.
@@Pope_Protein In that case, 4 kills with thunderclap or using pulse grenade (post patch) will also grant amplified. I imagine with devour and a demo weapon, you could occasionally not use unbreakable and be fine. Could also use facet of purpose and thundercrash or even swap off of buried bloodline to an arc weapon, (demo pugilist Brigand's Law is excellent in practice). There are many ways to obtain amplified as long as at least one ability is arc. Sure, it's easier with knockout, but this isn't a melee-focused build at all, so it doesn't matter; amplified uptime would be the same if played properly.

I've been playing with this build but with diamond lance instead of knockout, pretty fun and different :)
Could be mentioned in the video and I missed it. But with spirit of veritys and running thermite do you need solar weapon kills (cause of thermite) or void weapon kills (cause unbreakable being void blast) for the extra damage to come into effect?

Spirit of Verity actually boosts the Damage of unbreakable. Got a stoicism with inmost/verity. Looking forward for the solar special sidearm for even harder pocket nukes. Heal clip/Incandescent will make up a bit for not using BB
For what it’s worth apparently spirit of verity class item perk will enhance unbreakable. I haven’t tried it yet myself but that would pair very well with BBL

Please correct me if Im wrong, but how does grenade kickstarter work with armamentarium? Doesnt the energy need to be fully depleted which is not really possible with two cooldowns? I was under the impression that is how kickstarter worked previously. Was this incorrect? Or has it changed?
couldnt you use consecration+unbreakable with frenzied blade, to have 2 nades, 3 melees and a combination of both builds?
how about the call with demo, double special with rocket sidearm isnt an issue anyway.
So it requires a temporary bug and a dungeon exotic to be somewhere near the other two classes ;)
But tbh Prismatic Titan isn't as bad as people think. I'm using it with Star-Eater/Inmost. The ablity spam is great, and the new void super does great burst damage and weakens.

To be fair,Azter tried charging the grenade after stunning champs, basically getting no charge AND missing out on the opportunity to deal damage during the stun. He was sort of clueless.

Would Verity not allow you to increase the damage of Unbreakable even further? If it takes a grenade, and allows you to get cure via grenade kills via the Facet, would it not work? Could be interesting.
This is the first time since Shawdow Keep that I have FOMO (my RNG is trash regards to Buried Bloodline) even without the class item, at least I got HOIL.
I do wonder, what not use frenzied blade as a melee ability? Triple charge and with the ability spam loop, they should be able to put out some damage, not to mention sever.
Does spirit of verity make unbreakable do more damage? If so spirit of HOIL + spirit of verity might be a better shout than HOIL + arma

personaly i don't have the exotic of warlord ruin i play this build with "slam hammer " aspec and i use monarch and the call with grenade regeneration and the new abysal rocket louncher and 3 mod of abysall damage bonus in mi leg (really cool build)
A fun alternative to knockout if you got it:
Diamond Lance can trigger HOIL and counts as a grenade for the exotic the last time I checked, but if they changed it anyone feel free to let me know if I’m wrong
Why not use frenzied blade for the dark meter + more charges for hoil, and also the sever? I feel like that has more utility than thunderclap, though it does do less damage

Frenzied blade alone is pretty weak and it has a lot of cooldown time on prismatic

How do you think this build would work instead with the combo of inmost + verity?
Like would the unbreakable be buffed by the verity buff?
I imagine it would because it counts as a grenade, so yeah this could also be a solid option.
@@LlamaD2 did a quick test and it does work :) Managed to go from 110k to 195k with verity (using thermal nade). But one obvious drawback is that you cant use buried bloodline. Which is a bummer.

i hope that instead of fixing the thermite grenade bug they just make that the base damage for unbreakable because right now this bug is the only thing making that aspect viable
take off volatile/sever rounds and slap on the facet that makes ability final blows explode while transcendant you can unbreakable max dmg with solar nade plus explosions everywhere
you cant use unbreakable when you're transcendant tho...

What's the advantage of using armamentarium in place of something like verity? Is the grenade recharge fast enough that you're really taking advantage of armamentarium?
yes it definitely is fast enough. and with verity you would have to run a solar weapon in order to get value from it. then you wouldn’t get any devour uptime from buried bloodline
Does this still function the same with another melee ability?
why cloudstrike over still hunt for boss dps? you can even couple it with apex predator rocket that way
We need more options for devour. My bloodline is rusty with the 22k of kills it has.

I feel like that termite grenade bug damage should be the default damage on insta proc. Also i feel like the charge up for more damage is just horrible make it a default value as damage that way titans can feel a little bit better still not good enough to play again but it would be a step in the right direction as titans are not just horrible they are out right useless (Im a titan main and do my titan stuff on my hunter since everything a titan stands for is given to the hunter XD)

@KingJC. verity is also second column, I have class items with both hoil + verity and hoil + contact, I just need to know if it would be as potent
So to put it out there for discussion, this is the official description.
"UNBREAKABLE
Unknown / Void Aspect
[Grenade] : Hold to summon a [Void] Void shield and block a portion of incoming damage, gradually draining your grenade energy and granting an overshield over time.
*Releasing the grenade input or running out of energy releases a frontal blast from your shield that deals increased damage based on how much damage was blocked*
*Combatants that come in contact with your shield are temporarily disoriented.*
Based on this, since its a void aspect, it would appear that any grenade consumed is treated as a void grenade, so the fear of thermite grenade usage becoming null and void do not appear to be a concern.
The other area that needs to be elaborated on is the disorient portion of the aspect. Is it being considered a blind or a suppressed?
If that determination is made clear, one would know how to move precisely with the reaming fragments or changes. Build has alotnof potential once the red tape is lifted.
Idk if they've fixed the termite nade charge but the damage is absolute trash. Even Tormentors in legendary Campaign or Co-Op focus versions don't even notice being hit with termite Unbreakable.
I thought inmost on class item only applies damage and not regeneration?

Every new build video I see uses immenence has everyone forgotten about Rufus fury it has better rolls and is probably easier to get
the thermite interaction sounds like it's not intended and will get patched in a hotfix. I also don't realyl see trading off an aspect to sub the grenade out for unbreakable. It's just too short

This build would be much more potent with inmost + synthos. Since the gameplay loop involves getting close with unbreakable, having a buffed melee to finish off or kill surrounding targets (in more difficult) content is really helpful to proc knockout for the survivability.

Anyways its an interesting build but compared to the consecration it seems kinda meh. And the consecration build is already kinda meh since its basically the same thing titans have had for 2 years.

Using a build based around a bug that is going to get fixed feels bad. Sure it will be good now but after its fixed then you go back to having a terrible ability. If they fix the bug by making it a feature or bring all the other grenades up then I could see revisiting this.

My gosh Llama you are a genius I started using this build but i got the strand smg using demo/chaos and buried bloodline is the chef's kiss to this build my class item has inmost and contact and it just makes it a little better in my opinion more jolting but this is a god tier build 👌 🙌 to any dear day viewers follow every mod to a T and go have some fun
Hey since they nerfed this bug yesterday I think an inmost light verity build could help supplement some of that raw power this once provided
