Appreciate your insights with regard to the X100v, question - will a peak design clip mount to the bracket and still allow access to the battery? Look forward to further vids..( subscribed)..

I been finding my X100V a bit slippery sometimes but I also love the clean and minimal design of the camera so I haven't tried any sort of grips yet. This one looks good however, but if I was to try a grip of any kind, I think it would be the Lensmate thumb rest but I'd hate for it to stab my gut too 🤣 - Great video man. Love this little camera.

Thanks for watching! I'll probably get a hot shoe grip at some point too, just don't feel I need it as I'm usually using a strap. I imagine it'd definitely be worth it for bag carry shooting 🤓

Having the camera "feel" right in your hand is super important for me. I'll probably be sticking with the bigger dslrs because of that.

I know exactly what you mean - I had a shock going from the G9 to the a7iii, but the newer bodies like the a7Riv feel much better. I’m eagerly waiting for their big announcement tomorrow, hoping for the a7iv!

@@FamauMedia I'm just not excited about investing in all new lenses etc. I've shot nikon for a long time. I personally think the adapters defeat the purpose of small form factor. The Z glass is not cheap either. Maybe if I book a few weddings in the same year I'd switch. I say that because if I buy one body I'm getting a back up. Shooting on two different camera is annoying on the fly especially during a wedding when moments happen so fast.

@@PTPhotography yep, know the feeling! It took me a few years to be able to get two identical bodies (G9, then Sony’s), could be annoying before then. Well worth the investment over time - but most important thing is knowing how to get the best out of what we have available 👊

It can be hit or miss on Amazon. Many very cheap low quality items out of China.
