I turned this video guide into a Google Doc with labeled maps and text instructions so it's easier to print or view on a tablet / second monitor, may not be perfect so feel free to fork it, also geared towards Horde so Alliance will differ slightly. Thanks for the route, gonna help leveling those 12 invasion alts. Link: docs.google.com/document/d/157ph7R_tXILgQI1Y3ocZ0zvLmLYKuZK2tpQ8JUoifVE/edit?usp=sharing
This video seemed like it must have been a massive amount of work for you, so thank you. I've been in the beta for a while, and I agree with the paths you listed. This is solid advice.
***** I put it on exactly two people's comments - not "everybody's" - and it was because they were being completely fucking stupid. I can explain why if you need me to, but it should be completely self explanatory if you read the comment threads I was responding to.
This is a huge help Bellular. This is one of many reasons I am so glad I subbed long ago. You always put out great helpful videos. I hope these keep coming i know this is a huge help for me. I also have always admired the way you take a shine to other wow you tubers you like and use yourself and toss subs their way now that you have gotten bigger as a channel. Thanks for always keeping your passion :) some jaded pessimism wod and mop gave us all aside :). A HUGE THANK YOU for the 60 to 80 hours i know it takes to get so many thoughtful in depth videos out. thank you.
I'm a bit of a lore buff so I really took my time reading through everything and admiring the sights the first time around but seeing as I have 22 other alts at 100, a video like this is a huge help :')
Thanks, Bellular, for all of the awesome content you've provided over the last year. It has been incredibly useful for we returning players looking to get back into things after so many years away!
On my main i haven't done High mountain yet, but i'm already 110. I just collected all the stuff in the area, killed all rares and grabbed everything that i could in that zone. Also must have is Legion treasure addon as well as TomTom, some caves are hard to find and there are coordinates in the note to them. Good luck and have fun!
if you just log out for a second, you can use the legion app do all the order hall stuff and then just jump back in so you don't have to run them anywhere. great guide though
This may have been said but before leveling your first toon you should log into all your 100 and put them in rest areas that way they are rested before leveling. I even made a demon and leveled to rest before starting my first toon.
before I started leveling the first I started rested XP on all characters. this will help a lot. unless they changed it with legion you have to just login after expansion launch.
i must admit. It was a decent video. no doubt! The content of the video falls a bit short.. it would have been nice if you could be a bit more specific about the different quests.. i dont mind a 30 min vid, as long as its useful content.. Still dropping a like, primarily for that sweet ass voice! Well done!
Bellular, would you recommend doing the zones in this exact order? I was planning on starting each toon in the zone that gave them the proper shoulder boon (assuming you can get it while leveling up) that way they can get the benefit of it for the other zones.
this is by far the most helpful vid ive seen in all legion beta. I thanks you very very much as i am not giving up on my alts and plan to lvl them all on par w my main. Still undecided if to main a demo warlock, boomy or sub rogue, thoughts appreciated.
interestingly, even with various nerfs - xp ptions, heirlooms, garry xp pots and doing all the Bonus Objectives in Draenor will get you to almost 103 before you even step foot in Legion lol. Skipping questlines in legion zones is tricky, as you'll need "friendly" rep with each zone (including suramar) to unlock world quests. so it's really a question of preference. spend the time now or later? totally unremarkable since all zones scale, so going back to do quest lines you skipped once you're 110 won't make it easier. My thoughts on this are: level 1 main, do the nasty grind. make sure your main has herbalism. trust me. do all the quests, all the exploring all the rep crap you have to do in Suramar, and eventually get flying. Now all your alts can FLY through the questing zones. THIS is the fastest way. If you're in some mad race to get alts up for prog raiding or something similar, and guildies will boost you in mythics once you hit 110, then use my above stated method to get 102-103 before starting Legion, do Val'sharah (all story lines) for dungeon quest and 800 ilvl gear. then ONLY do opening quest line in each zone along with available bonus objectives and spam dungeons with guildies. literally the fastest way right now. once you hit 110 and your guildies can boost you through a few mythics, go clear the storylines in each zone to unlock WQs.
will this guide allow us to get all the rep we need for the world quests for example ? Are we gonna be in any sort of a disadvantage when we reach 110 ? Otherwise , great guide for alts.
it's to bad you don't have a referral or anything setup. I ended up buying back into WoW after a 2 year hiatus, after watching your videos. thanks for the great content man!
Hi, I'm a casual WoW player - all I do is mostly bgs (pvp) & rdf (pve), but more pvp than pve. Looking into Legion pvp auto-scale feature I was determined to level some alts so I could have some fun on all of them without me having to spend hundreds of hours for gearing up so much. Now I heard that the artifacts are a pain in the ass to have/upgrade and I really wanted to pvp on my paladin both as protection AND holy. Is there any solution? Will the artifact upgrades affect so much the pvp gameplay or will I be fine with a side non-artifact weapon/shield for my off-spec? Thanks
as the expansion goes on and every starts powering up their artifacts they stated that it will become faster for everyone else to level up their artifacts its a scaling expansion over time.
Hi, so I want to start from scratch and level up a new character (old player come back). Are the invasions still the best way to level up? Or do I have to look for a leveling guide for every expansion? Does someone have a good approach for this?
You missed out on invasions... they were already over when you posted the question asking if you should use invasions. But if you're really a new player coming back, just get the Legion Expansion, it comes with a free 100 level boost... so if you are starting with NOTHING, you can at least start with one 100 and get into the current content immediately.
Yea, I kinda expected as much but just wanted to be sure. As I said I want to start from scratch as I have never played cata, mop or wod so leveling one char through there should be sort of fun. Then again, I might want to use that lvl100 to switch content once in a while
1. Step: Close this video 2. Step: Download ConsLegion 3. Step: Open WoW and configure ConsLegion so it fits your personal preference. 4. Step: ??? 5. Step: Profit
So the devs say its the friendliest alt expansion due to the class campaigns. I disagree. I can already foresee keeping a few alts at 100 for the majority of this xpac due to the artifact grind. It takes 5.2 million artifact power to fully unlock your artifact. Of course with my main, I will max 2 (10.4 million) of the three specs. I'm sure most people will try to max 2 of the three artifacts on their main. For my main alt, I will max 1 artifact out of the three, as I'm sure most of us will. The artifact grind is gonna slow down leveling alts for all of us that have a platoon of alts (10+). I will not level my alts till heirlooms get upgraded to 110 so it'll only take 4-5 hours as opposed to 12-14.
The devs want you to have a class thats your main focus for most of the expansion and as time goes on it will be easier for alts to gain artifact power as the time to gain artifact knowledge will decrease.
+Ry K I respectfully disagree. The devs are trying to restore the importance of having a main toon; however, the artifact grind is designed to be a time sink and thus a money sink. The problem with the artifact grind is you'll have two max 2 of your 3 artifacts to stay competitive. Now with that being said, I foresee the devs significantly buffing artifact research, or getting rid of artifact research and allowing the artifact power accumulated on one artifact to transfer over to the other artifacts. This'll happen a few months into the xpac when everyone starts complaining about the grind.

I love you
Nice work, I love you.
Thanks for this!

I am going to take my time with my main, but I will use this video for alts. Thanks Bellu.
Hey dude, thanks for making all of these videos. As a returning player that hasn't played in 9 months videos like this have really helped.
This is a huge help Bellular. This is one of many reasons I am so glad I subbed long ago. You always put out great helpful videos. I hope these keep coming i know this is a huge help for me. Nice guide, haven't played the game in a while and haven't seen the BETA so this will come in handy. Subscribed! :)
So just do all the quest in each zone, man best guide ever...
Good Video man! I can tell you put some time into it thanks for doing the work for us :D have a good time in the expac my man!
I think your videos are extremely helpful and insightful so on behalf of all your normal viewers thanks bellular
Anyone think it's weird that an Ancient is labelled as an Arch Druid? I think of them as two different archetypes.
Yeah that is strange now that I think about it.
maybe he is in tree form
Really appreciate the guide, leveling my spriest has never been easier! :D
An efficient quest route. This is exactly what I needed.
On my main i haven't done High mountain yet, but i'm already 110.
I just collected all the stuff in the area, killed all rares and grabbed everything that i could in that zone.
Also must have is Legion treasure addon as well as TomTom, some caves are hard to find and there are coordinates in the note to them.

hey bell just wanna say you're my fav wow content creator
Could you expand on the rest of the quests and zones. That vid would be useful regarding the rep needed for each zone. Gr8 vid. Thanks!
Thank you for all your work! i love these kinds of VIDEOS
I wanna enjoy lvling the first few toons but yh this helps me know how to gear up these alts. Much thanks Bellular
if you just log out for a second, you can use the legion app do all the order hall stuff and then just jump back in so you don't have to run them anywhere. great guide though
I'm sure there was a PDF guide in the comments someone had posted the other day now i cant find it. Can anyone help?
So many goddamn bonus objectives, I think I'm going to die.
did it exactly as u said bellular.. leveled in 10 hours.. ty
Begging, make these maps with the zone directions available for a download. Would be absolutely amazing to print them out!
0:18 mythic+ won't be available until first raid release around three weeks from now
You make great videos keep up the great work! love them.
What is the music that plays at the beginning of the video?
Commenting for updates i want to know it too

4:14 | Best beta guild name
I'd like to see a video of your rig and graphics settings. Your graphics look smooth and very pretty.
Thank you! O keep getting distracted by all the damn breadcrumb quests and just want to know which areas are worth doing.
i must admit. It was a decent video. no doubt!
The content of the video falls a bit short.. it would have been nice if you could be a bit more specific about the different quests.. i dont mind a 30 min vid, as long as its useful content..

I'm not sure if you've covered this in another video- how heavily phased are the areas in Legion?
ahhhh :( I loved leveling purely in dungeons with tank / heal alts :(
So pretty much just do every quest given to you with haste?
this is by far the most helpful vid ive seen in all legion beta. I thanks you very very much as i am not giving up on my alts and plan to lvl them all on par w my main. Still undecided if to main a demo warlock, boomy or sub rogue, thoughts appreciated.

so excited cant wait to play legion!!!!!
Great video, thank you buddy!
will this guide allow us to get all the rep we need for the world quests for example ? Are we gonna be in any sort of a disadvantage when we reach 110 ? Otherwise , great guide for alts.
Do you have a written version of this? or am I better off making 1 myself? Nice sum up! Thnx!!
it's to bad you don't have a referral or anything setup. I ended up buying back into WoW after a 2 year hiatus, after watching your videos.
thanks for the great content man!
This is genius! Thank you!

Luv u bb
sexy pussyfeet
Bruh... you called him Helmet Nesingwary... lol
oh boy >.
as a Helmet Nesingwary fan im happy he has been mentioned, you know, Helmet, the brother of Hemet
Well you know what they say about dwarves.
Big helmets.
Helmut Nesingwary - Hemet's German cousin.
Can we get a transcript of this video with map images correlating?
Awesome vid bud, but in witch order I should do the zones?
Bell, your videos are great and I love watching them.. but ffs, it's HEMet Nesingwary, not HELMet! >
1) Install ConsLegion add-on
2) Follow the arrow
3) Profit
I leveled up to 110 doing only 2 zones,, but also took like 3 days, enjoyed my surroundings too much :D
do you have a precise time frame in which following this leveling route takes
isn't it a better idea to start in val'sharah? at the end of the questchain it rewards you a ilvl 800 item, which is always usefull to have early on
Geoffrey Cuypers every zone does that, the advantage in val'sharah is that u dont need to visit a dungeon for that
how long is it approx? sry cant hear the video. havent got any sound outlet
Has blizzard said wether Action cam is coming back sooner or later?
1 day left...fuck,it seems like time is slowing down
4 hours left here, time feel slow
BellularGaming i hope i don't get timestuck 5 minutes before the launch lol
EU Bastards...... NA is still 5.5 hours away :(
use arrows for the next expancion, i cant screenshot ur vid =(
Havoc DH or Prot Pally? Desperate for opinions.
my opinion is shove it up ya butt!
DH, blizz have fucked up pally's
not prot pally prot pally is op atm
vengeance is my favorite atm why dont you try it it's already at lv 100 :3
*****
Yeah, I definitely love the lore and aesthetics of paladins, but I've found ret a bit boring, don't know about prot.
Pfft, alts are for enjoying the content, mains are for leveling as fast as you can ;)
both are for enjoyable fun for me....I only make alts if they are fun
opposite for me. Use my main, read through all the story lines slowly. Zerg everything with alts.
Not going to watch this video until I have levelled 1 or 2 characters the normal way. I wanna enjoy it :D
7:59 Our old friend Helmet :p
Hey bro you do really good vidoe and your vidoe help me a lot

this is great because i want all 12 of my 100s to be 110 by the halloween event.
i hope Zygor's guide is following this example
Hi, so I want to start from scratch and level up a new character (old player come back). Are the invasions still the best way to level up? Or do I have to look for a leveling guide for every expansion? Does someone have a good approach for this?

Any estimated time on following this guide?
Well, so go to each zone and complete all quests and bonus objectives.. gg.
I like that dungeons don't play as big of a role
TL:DR: Azsuna -> Stormheim -> Val'Sharah -> Highmountain
what's the average time you got during these runs?
2 hours and 45 minutes BABY
What order do you reccomend doing the zones?
Watch the video again.
confirmed, tauren children added with legion.
can someone give me summary, don't want to watch 10min?
Nope. The video is very specific in terms of where to go and who to talk to.
Watch this while you are leveling your alt
Summary? Another useless video which just made me unsubscribe. Just get Zygor addon, many forums are sharing this addon for free.
Sure, it still takes way too long to level in Legion by comparison to other expansions.
What level do your professions need to be to pick up quests?
all you need is level 1.
all you need is love.
300 for crafting professions and 100 for gathering professions.
Long Story short, Just do Quests you dont need to listen 9:47 mins to a guy telling you 21309212301 times to do quests
Guys, I have a level 90 alt with no items, how to quickly level him up to 100? I don't want to do draenor again.
Hey, do you have this written somewhere?
So basically do all the quests and bonus objectives in every zone lol.
Someone told me to go to highmountain first because it has movement toys.
Love it.. Thanks!
1. Step: Close this video
2. Step: Download ConsLegion
3. Step: Open WoW and configure ConsLegion so it fits your personal preference.
4. Step: ???
5. Step: Profit
can you give a guide on how to quickly get from 90-100 for legion? cuz fuck draenor?
just did that and leveled from 90-100 in less then 3 hours
@9:00-9:02 did you say helmet I think you mean hemet www.wowhead.com/npc=18180/hemet-nesingwary
How long exactly did this take you?
instructions unclear, alt stuck in suramar
This kinda sounds like the normal way of leveling rather than the fast way.
Don't mind if I ask: are Alts alternatives? Something like smurf?
Yea, characters other than your main character
+Zombieheadshot 01 thanks
This route is a bit out of date, if you start with azuna->highmountain its a bit faster, but that may be just me since...i hate stormheim too much.
any one know how long this method takes for 100 to 110?
So is dungeon spamming if you are tank not viable again?
It's ok but it won't be anywhere close to as fast as it used to be due to the exp differences
you can always squeeze a dungeon in to have something else than the leveling areas on your screen. I usually do half a zone and then a random dungeon, makes the whole leveling process much easier (for me) because you get to see something else.
i dunno, but this sounds like a lot of work.. i just do whatever quests that i get and see where they lead me to. Never been a great lvler, but i dont need to rush things atm.
what about doing this as text guide?^^ cant watch this video 100times after every quest:P
www.Overwolf.com
Actually the video itself telling you dont need this video for leveling faster. Simply install Conslegion addon.
Stormheim looks like Icecrown retextured.
how does this man knows all that information...
The questline in stormheim is not good at all, probably because i'm alliance
