This is the most accurate and spot on review I've seen about the bike. I also have the same bike and agree 100% with everything said. Fairing does not compare to the RT fairing when it comes to wind protection. I have a RT fairing on my other bike and I can confirm this, it's not even close. The issue I have with the ST fairing and windshield is not only the hieght but it's also kind of a narrow windshield. I get a lot of side wind that comes right around the windshield and hits me. The area of wind protection for the rider is a pretty narrow space. Harley should have made the windshield taller and wider, would have made a huge difference in wind protection.
Absolutely love my st I'm impressed with the power and handling coming of a 2015 zx-10 that says alot!!! After adding the pipe and tune this bike really opens up I can only imagine what a cam will do I beat my cousin's r1 from the light to about 100mph
@Paul Denton - Thanks for calling b.s. on the wind protection. I'm actually ok with the wind protection it provides down low, but would like a better aftermarket windshield. I'm under 6 feet too, and my problem is wind noise around my ears. It'd be nice to have a windshield taller and significantly flared at the top to provide better wind protection. If I can't get the wind management right on the bike to where I can start riding it regularly, I'm going to put on an aftermarket FXRT fairing with lowers and a tall enough shield to do the job. Personally, I like the way it looks and would like to keep it that way. Liked and subscribed.. Peace
Still to make this bike comfortable you have to spend a lot of money. Not as complete as they make out. Like the video says a lot of hype. Wind protection isn’t very good and I’m 5’9, handle bars stock are not comfortable, The engine is nice but doesn’t handle as good as they make out. I sold mine after 1000 miles. I think the standard fxlrs is a better buy. I guess this is all personal opinion.
@@frankp7885 I had two low rider S 114 before and yes I do. Another thing was the fact I couldn’t just run no fairing on a really hot day. The taller suspension was defo better and the engine and the tank/dials. A 117 FXLRs is a good idea if you want more options fairing wise.
Same with me with the klockwerks windshield. Klockwerks says they are dealing with this, and after dealing with them on other issues......I have complete confidence in them.
6’ here and I test rode it and liked it quite a bit..I noticed air not wind on me but I like having some air..think it’s from the cut outs on purpose..great review
I’m going to swap for Trashin 6 inch pullbacks soon, followed by their high bend bar at a later date when I can swap the cables. I’ll post videos for both. Thanks for watching.
If u go with Thrashing 6” risers u don’t need new cables but u may or may not need a small square box/part I don’t remember the name for the brakes line that’s underneath the forks
How do you like the seat? Is it forward or back from the stock seating position? I'm 6'2" and was looking at the step up seat, but read that it actually pushes the riding position another inch forward and I'd like to find something similar to stock or further back.
I think this is probably comparable to the step-up/saddlemen position. I believe it’s also made by Saddlemen. Not 100% sure on that. But yes it’s definitely what I would consider close or pushed-up an inch or two. I personally like that but I’m under six feet.
They’re loud, like surprisingly loud. As others have said, probably good up to 80mph. I don’t know if I’d do it again just because I don’t know if this is the bike for it.
@@pauldenton9568 thanks for the reply. I put a Cardo and the 45mm speakers in my helmet. I like it, but sometimes I don’t wear a helmet. I might move to the half helmet and add speakers in the helmet.
Thanks for the straight up review. Its appreciated. Mine is set to arrive end of this month

200 miles? That’s like one quick ride 😂

@@Elmuchacho17 Do you think you should've bought the Low Rider S and put a better fairing on?

Too add, I also had a Road Glide Special 2020 114. That was a better bike. Comfort, wind, highways etc. only did a stage one 2-1 and it was Mustard!
Same with me with the klockwerks windshield. Klockwerks says they are dealing with this, and after dealing with them on other issues......I have complete confidence in them.
Did they say how they'd deal with this? Making it taller and wider at the top would help.
Hey there! Got mine Last Month but noticed That I have problems riding it. Its kinda lika a shoulder/ neck pain. Do you get the Same?
I don’t but I will typically change the bars/seat/suspension within the first couple of thousand miles on a bike.
Good honest video

Let us know what riser/ bar set up you go with - that reach was the first thing I noticed on the test ride - Thanks

As well nothing needed going with six inch risers AND high bend bars, are u sure bro? Thx

Does this bike have a fork lock..?
Hey bro do u kno where. I can get the fairing vent delete kit to block them ?
I like it…. But honestly,,I wish they would have made it so you can take the fairing off.. and put on other.. or none… etc…
I did the thrashin 9.5 with stock bars and I like it at 511
💯
Wind noise unbearable along with the steady droning
Good- Don’t watch.
😏 tell em..haha
The video or the st fairing??
The bars have two positions, just move them down.
Dude can't hear half of anything you're saying with all that freaking wind in the microphone
So don’t watch?
I had no problems hearing the man’s review, great job!
That wind noise from your mic is terrible. Can hardly hear you
I can barely make out what he's saying with the wind and the way he mumbles.
