Nice setup man. Mine made the same numbers with the 475c. One thing I see a lot of people doing that I think deserves some conversation is the height changes. I feel like a lot of people don’t understand that they are changing the motorcycles geometry when they do that. I don’t know if it would change the trail enough to cause problems but it will definitely change how the bike handles. I noticed how the front of your bike sits significantly higher than the rear.
Thus far, tasteful mods... Even in the simplest of things as covering unnecessary branding even if minuscule. Suspension gives it a different stand, and the ⚡️is 🔥.
@@pauldenton9568 Awesome thanks! I just got mine last July and haven’t gotten much done so far. I’m planning on risers next but can’t decide if 6.5 with pull back will be enough.
@@pauldenton9568 Did you have to extend your wires and cables? If so do you recall what the length was you needed? I’ve been trying to research what height mid or high bend bars add to try and figure out how long the extensions need to be on top of whatever height the risers are.
I thought the vent felt a bit weird and added noise. It definitely could just be me or just in my head. I was also testing the Rockford speakers and felt that it was harder to hear/distorted.
The blinkers may look nice and if that’s how you roll that’s how you roll. Ide rather suffer the looks of big blinkers for the added visibility for all the blind drivers in their cars.
Just adds clearance. Can’t say I scraped before, just felt and looked low. Now feels more like some of the other bikes I’ve had previously. I also like highway cruising a bit higher as well.
@@pauldenton9568 thanks for the reply. Bike is in the shop, FXR Division, getting some work (suspension, black tubes, and RC19 Brembo master cylinder). FXR Division has some Paul Yaffe turn signal brackets that create a cleaner look. Dig the powder coat black wheels and push rods. Nice touch.
Moons taillight. 13.5 inch in rear. I think the Rockford kit is a waste of money. It sounds alright for what it is but I’d rather use the BT unit in my helmet.
That crash bar worries me Looks like it would hit the ground at the same time as the footpeg and buck the back wheel off the ground if you lean too far, i could be wrong Bike looks killer though 🔥

Bike looks great, those black front tubes and getting rid of the stock blinkers really cleans the bike up.
the +2" tubes really stance the bike nicely

Agreed that it changes the geometry and the trail. Have set up several bikes in a similar fashion, but this is my first softail. Personal preference
What kind of gas milage are you getting after the cam install? Very nice bike!!!
Which black did you go with for the wheels? That’s on my list too.

Super clean
Very clear sir…who did your tune? We look to be in the same general area of CA.
Is that the X series thunderheader.
@@johnbrock890 it is the x series.
Looks good, did you have to extend any cables or the wiring for your speedometer when you added the risers? Thanks.
No, there is a little extra to play with.
@@pauldenton9568 great thanks !
Very sharp set up. 13.5 in the rear and what did you go with for the front cartridges? I’d like to get a little more height also.
Thanks. Front is +2 GP cartridges/+2 tubes

No sorry I just had this one done at the shop.
Brembo brakes front and rear would be sick
Power level sounds about right. I had a 22 low rider with the Star F35A and a thunderheader, made 129/138
Nice, thanks!
How is the closed vent compared to the open?
I thought the vent felt a bit weird and added noise. It definitely could just be me or just in my head. I was also testing the Rockford speakers and felt that it was harder to hear/distorted.

I agree that visibility is important. I don’t really use signals much when riding
Was there a difference (feel) with a 2” up (1” rear) in the front turning or cornering?

When you went +2 what junction block did you use for the new brake lines and abs lines?
I believe we kept the block and ordered custom upper and lower lines from Magnum. Done that a few times and they are good.
Did you do the rear?
Yes- JRI shock.
What tail light is this? What is the length of the rear shock? Last question do you like the Rockford speaker kit? I read lots of mixed reviews on it.

Where did you get the custom dash emblem?

How long did it take to get the dominator headlight lens?
I believe it was about 10 days from Europe. It didn’t seem long.
No problems with head buffeting without the vent hole in the windshield?
No, I had one with the vent hole and prefer it closed.
@@pauldenton9568 ah okey, since clearview themself said the one without the hole would cause more buffeting
