I love my hot wired heated liner and heated gloves. They have served me well for years and kept me plenty of warm on those 25 degree mornings when I have to commute 60 miles one way to work.
Me and my boy headed to Hariman from Queens last Sunday for breakfast on our Roadkings, 6:00am start on Woodhaven Blvd. Freakin cold but not as cold as upstate. Heated gloves did the trick. Can't beat the Palisades in the fall. Like yourself I'm a four season riding. Time to put the Roadking away and get on the Pan America for the daily commute. Ride safe.

There’s really no other way to do it unless you just want to battle traffic for your entire ride, that gets old real fast hence why I choose to master the morning ☕️ ⚡️
i'm finding that leaving early like you said is essential to avoid traffic and reduce chances of running into morons like at 7:20 but i always dread the ride home because i always seem to hit heavy traffic and almost get taken out by said morons. very high adrenaline when i walk through my door from having to be extra vigilant and fight for my life that last 1-2 hours back into the city. takes me a while to decompress. almost ruins an otherwise nice day or couple days of riding
Yeah you’re 100% hitting the nail on the head here - I find if you can get back in by 2-3, you’ll usually be ok, but regardless, once the normies start to wake up and mindlessly cruise in their cages, you just have to be vigilant regardless of the time

What tranny oil are you running and the reason I'm asking is are you able to do any clutchless shifting?
I've definitely power shifted this bike plenty of times, I have to get back on the exact oil
