Sir.Why does in turbine we considered it as a gas and use Cpg, since it is coming from the combustor, it should be a mix of air and gas and Cp is not totally a gas index?
When you calculates the Turbine and Compressor work, you used W = C ( Ta -Tb ). I also notice there is an equation with m_dot such as W = m_dot* C*( Ta-Tb). How does this 2 equations differ and when to use m_dot?

m° is just mass flow rate. Without it you get work in J/kg and with you either get in J or J/s (Watt)
