Another great tune. The Band made music that was in a class by itself. May Richard Manuel, Rick Danko and Levon Helm rest in peace. Cheers! ✌️

The music is The Band, great ... the video might end up in the top 10 of terribly bad videos.
All the video shows is the group playing. That can never be a difficult task. Yet they manage to make the most silly mistakes. For example: at 2:30 the guitarist starts a solo. So we get to see the drummer, then some weird footage of the top of the piano, back to the drummer and then to the pianist. The guitarist only comes into view when the solo is finished.
Fortunately there is another guitar solo...at 3:50, they are shocked by the fact that they have the guitarist in the picture and go back as quickly as possible so that they can film his back artistically.
In short, another great example of useless video work!

      Who made you the expert?

@@pilgrim_joe Do you see something else??
When the guitar player is playing a solo and they focus on the drummer and the pianist, one doesn't have to be an expert to see that they are presenting the wrong player.
But for you it is not important what everybody can see, but wheter it is concluded by an expert...
Well, I've never worked with the Band, that's true. But I did work as stage manager with Eric Clapton, Lou Reed, Leonard Cohen, George Moustaki, Marlene Dietrich and many others. And I've seen the videos made of them and their shows, so I do have something to compare... however I'm not an expert. I just use my eyes.

@@ybor20 It doesn’t appeal to what you’d have done but I think it works well. I don’t think you know an awful lot about the Band either, referring to them as “the guitar player, the drummer etc” use their names.
I’ve used my eyes too on this one too, and I think there’s some really great shots of all the guys in there especially Richard.

@@pilgrim_joe You see, I give comment on the video making, not on the players. It doesn't matter who the guitar player is and a loto of viewers also have no idea who is who. When call them by name they have no idea about whom I'm writing.
When I write about the guitar solo and the guitar player, one doesn't have to know who it is..they can hear and see.
I suppose that you want to express how much you know about the group.Nice. But in fact you only prove that you don't know about music neither about making videos. This video is a mess of pasted together pictures that have no relation to the music or anything.
However, we can discuss a lot, nothing better than to show you what a real good video is: watch those two guitarplayers...see how there plaing is brought and then go to 6:58 ..THAT is making a music video where the sounds goes with what we see and where thay have been catching the right moment that tells everything of those two guys playing together. ua-cam.com/video/T9Iiu4Jz4Hc/v-deo.html
Don't need to know who they are, Ive worked with them but that's not relevant..it is about the music...and making great video's that tells a story instead it is bringing pictures pasted together like this one.

and in addition go to 2:30...they are filming from the back...but at exact the right moment the have a close up in the front....It is the opposite of what they did in this video of the Band! It is the difference between loving music and not understanding music and taking constantly the wrong shots.
