Glad you enjoyed it. The pigment binder should fix everything to base, so there should be no fall out or loose pigments. I've never had any issues handling the bases and moving models around after everything has dried.
Question: can I add normal paints during the process? I want my mars bases to have more of a magenta hue (like scarlet planet matt I own from kraken), but cannot find bright pigments of that color, so I want to try my citadel paints. Thanks so much for the video, it was very inspiring!!
Yeah you can add anything into the underpainting to create more variation. If you are having trouble finding pigments you like you could look at getting pastel and grinding them down to create your own pigment powders.
The pigment layered up like that gives an amazing finish. Awesome dude!
Cheers mate! It does things in minutes that would take me hours with normal paints. The results never cease to amaze me.
Perfect timing. I haven't started my ad mech yet.
Brilliant! Glad this will be helpful. Which forgeworld are you doing?
Looks great. I think I might try out some pigments!
Thank you. Pigments are a great way to go for basing
Awsome tutorial! Question: does the pigment binder also "seals" the pigment or is a varnish of some sort needed for this ?
