This sounds good. I've heard several renditions of this and I find the versions with all women's voices far more compelling.
100% Agree.. I like the bass from the guys but even I prefer when it's only the ladies.. it is a different feel all together. It's like a singing Haka, powerful, moving and hits right to the core.
When i did choir we had a band of all girls and like 6 men and we did this. It sounded amazing with a mixture as well!
So agree. It has a divine feminine/ feminine rage feel to structure and melody of the piece. It feels reminiscent of Bulgarian womens choirs
