    Thank you very much for the review. It was detailed and very well communicated. You spoke about all of the important aspects that photographers are interested in. I have been thinking about switching from my 5D Mark 4 to the R5, but have been hesitant because I didn't know if I would see that much of a difference in the photos. I like the increased MP from 30 to 45, allowing for more detail and greater cropping area for distant birds. I am used to lugging around the 5D4 with the 500 f4 lens, hand holding for birds, so the weight is something to consider. Some of my photography is done at sunset, in low light conditions. How does the R5 handle the low light settings? My wife uses the Sony ar3, and the images are a noticeably sharper than the 5D4 when comparing the raw out of camera images. I am hoping the R5 is sharper than the 5D4, but they both have the AA filter so it could be the increased pixels will give it a false sense of sharpness. Thank you again for a great review!

      Thank you very much for your comment. The R5 is very good in low light, better than the 5D IV. The 20 frames per second, excellent eye/bird tracking and great IBIS especially when combining an RF lens gives me far greater and sharper keepers than my 5D IV. Hope this helps!

      @@carminered3229 Thank you for responding back. Are you using any of the EF lenses you used for the 5D on the R5 with the adapter? I am thinking about using the 16-35 f2.8 and the 24-105 f4 EF lenses I used for the 5D with an adapter for landscapes, since the subjects don't move. For birds and wildlife which require faster autofocus, I would have to buy the 100-500 R lens. Would it be a noticeable improvement to switch all of my lens including the wide angles? I think it is best to rent the R5 and check it out myself to make sure. Just wondering what you decided to do. Thank you.

      @@Don-yu3uq I personally sold my EF 24 to 70 2.8 and got the RF version, mainly because I did not want to keep switching adapters. However I still use the 50 mm lens and 100 mm EF macro lenses with an adapter and have not noticed any issues as all. They work pretty much like native lenses. I did rent the RF 100 to 500...fantastic lens!

      Thank you for watching! They are the peak design camera strap attachments. The best camera strap in my humble opinion! www.peakdesign.com/collections/straps/?gclid=CjwKCAjwlID8BRAFEiwAnUoK1Y6hnu_nR0G7MoQIGW46fveD3sSepPf5UGRF19VOy9NqfgQf1q9uaRoCd2cQAvD_BwE

    Bro 5d mark iv and canon r6 and EOS R and which one is best for wedding photography and long term use

    • @carminered3229
      @carminered3229  3 роки тому

      I am not sure I can accurately answer that, my friend. I have never shot weddings before and I am just a hobbyist. However, all are great cameras and you cant go wrong with any. The r6 is newer and has the best eye detect feature which may help in portraits and has better low light capabilities along with better frame rates. The battery life is better on the 5D IV as is the resolution. I have not used the EOS R so cannot comment on that. Many people feel the R6 is a great wedding camera if you add a battery grip and plan extra batteries, if you dont mind the 20 mega pixels. Obviously the 5D IV was the king of wedding cameras until recently. It is also cheaper than the R6. Hope that helps some.

      @@ma.ajigarkhan960 These cameras are perfect for Wedding Photography. The best of the 3 is the one you know the best. I personally use the 5D Mark IV for Weddings, because I know it and trust it. My next camera will most likely be the R6, however, I will not use it for a Weddings until I practice and get to know it for a while. I have a friend who uses a Canon 80D for Weddings, he blows the completion away. Why? He knows that camera like the back of his hand, razor sharp images, great color, composition etc.

    I've got banding when using electronic first curtain at highish ISOs (2500) and 12 fps.

    • @carminered3229
      @carminered3229  3 роки тому

      Is that under artificial lighting? I have read that if you are able to shoot below 1/15th second shutter speed or 1/60, 1/125 etc (multiples of 50 or 60 hz ) to match the light frequency you may be able to reduce banding. Also choosing a different light source may help. The other option would be to switch to a mechanical shutter which will eliminate banding. I have not noticed any detectable banding with the lights in my home. I'll check again. Thank you.

      @@markrigg6623 I looked at a few of my bird shots...high iso...no banding. Banding with electronic shutter is only supposed to be an issue under artificial light. Not sure what the issue is.
