Last time I flew on a 767 was really QF between SIN and SYD. Back in the day, that 767 flight operated SYD SIN BOM. I'm envious of your Papua experiences!
My first time was on Air New Zealand between Sydney and Auckland back in 2014…an experience I’ll never forget. You should defs put the 767 on your bucket list - plenty of them in Japan! Foodie tour Japan 2?
Great review, certainly looks like an old school airline (in a good way) to try one day! You were game to put the camera down to the film the intro at the start though! But I assume there is some sort of security checkpoint well before the terminal building like in similar countries so the airport itself is probably pretty secure?
The longest non-stop flight by just 129km over Singapore. However if they reinstate the Tokyo run....... I flew SIN-POM last Thursday night/Friday Morning on the 767 in economy, in ancient plane, over 25 years old and an interior that looked the same. Uncomfortable seats, freezing cabin, with no pillows, blankets offered, and no entertainment screens, as evidenced by the fact that we were not offered earphones. The Cabin did just what they had too and sat at the back gossiping. Pixie Airways need new aircraft asap, and an upgrade of staff. Noticeable that at customs, the flight crew all had three or four carry-on bags. Seems that they use the Singapore run to do some shopping. Very few destinations offered by ANG had any competition, and it's reflected in the tremendously huge prices on offer.
Well done. good story. Keep up the good work
Thanks for watching!
