  • Hello peachies🍑 Many of us can relate to the struggle of finding the perfect dressing style. It's a constant battle, isn't it? Questions like, "What's the right attire?" or "Does this outfit truly reflect who I am?" often plague our minds.
Sure, you've probably figured out how to choose clothes that flatter your body shape, but sometimes you put on an outfit and think, "This just doesn't capture my essence." We understand that some of you might feel uncomfortable in certain styles. Maybe you've been pushed into ultra-feminine attire when you prefer a more relaxed, simple look. Or perhaps you wish to embrace a more feminine style to exude allure.
Or sometimes you just want to find that perfect balance of both worlds, but it feels like an impossible mission, right? You're torn between loving "feminine" and "masculine" pieces!
The truth is every clothing item embodies both feminine and masculine traits at the same time, you can be masculine while wearing feminine garments! The fusion of feminine and masculine elements in fashion is a well-known formula that has been embraced by style icons such as Zendaya, Rihanna, and Bella Hadid.
Beyond being a trend in everyday outfits, this combination is a recurring theme on fashion runways as well. Esteemed designers like Ralph Lauren and Bottega Veneta have skillfully incorporated this blend to create sophisticated, high-end looks that beautifully showcase their designs.
What truly defines the perfect blend of both feminine and masculine elements in an outfit? Let's examine a few examples below. Do you feel that these examples successfully encompass the styles of both genders?
But why do these outfits leave you with the feeling that the overall look is disconnected or disjointed? Whether you're a fan of a harmonious mix of both feminine and masculine attire or you lean towards the extremes of ultra-feminine or ultra-masculine, our video today will provide you with an easy go-to formula to help you navigate your path to the perfect style.

i have the elegant archetype but i also like dressing slightly masculine/androgynous. i really like how you can create a balance between the fem/masc traits in clothing as im most comfortable with exuding an androgynous vibe with my clothes 😊 i learnt a lot from this video so ty 🤍

I was kinda disappointed when I got "Natural" as my makeup archetype. I thought it was boring. But then after I watched this video I feel like I have more freedom and choices to pick my own clothes. I tend to use "masculine" outfits for my daily look and college classes. I only use "feminine" outfits for wedding receptions and formal events. I don't shop for clothes often, so I only use anything my mom has (still living with my mom tho haha). Turns out my mom's makeup archetype is also "Natural"! However, my face tends to lean into feminine side (Natural Elegant) while my mom tends to lean on the masculine side (Natural Modern)

I was also a bit disappointed when at the ripe age of almost thirty I got the ingenue archetype, my style has very little to do with it, but after giving it a shot (and failing... I'm still learning) it made me realize why I tend to look so awkward when I did my makeup in the past, the style I was going for made me look like a kid who was playing with her mom's makeup more than the ingenue style does when I am indeed playing with makeup 😂 on the other hand, the gamine style makeup also looks cute on me but makes me look too boyish for my liking, I guess now I just have to find a way to make my ingenue makeup work with my classic style.

hi peachie!! I wanted to make a request for a video, I came across something called the fashion fit formula that breaks down how long each item of clothing be to get the desired effect (basically suitable proportions ig) but it’s a paid service offered by consultants as far as I know but I could be wrong, i was wondering if you could find out information about it and make a video??

This video helped me very much understanding why I feel confused at liking both masc and fem clothes, and yet struggling building a cohesive and balanced style. I watched it 3 times since and now I think about it when watching people's outfit.
I would love more of this analysis in relation to body types maybe. I'm pear shaped and fem clothes suit me well, but I like masc energy clothes. As a result, either my clothes make me feel uncomfortably girly or don't compliment my body at all... Now I'm rethinking my whole style (or lack of)

Thank you for this Peachie. I've actually been lost ever since I gained a lot of weight. I shifted from a feminine to a masculine look. I wanted to rock the new style, but I still feel weird about it. It must be because of my lack of confidence.

    • @thelilypool
      @thelilypool 7 місяців тому +13

"You don't need to be confident to rock an outfit, rocking an outfit is waking up one day then wearing the fit. You're the rocker."
(if any doesn't apply just ignore it) Just wear things. Inside the home or outside, doesn't matter. It doesn't have to be everyday, but it'll expand your comfort zone. Maybe you just aren't used to it and that's why you're not feeling confident.
When I kept on wearing clothes that I wasn't comfortable with (in a mental sense, I'd never wear physically uncomfy clothing), it made me realize that it's just the lack of mental hype that made me think it looked bad. I probably looked like a normal human being but then shamed myself for it instead of hyping myself up. Hype yourself. It helps.
In contrast to wearing clothing you're uncomfortable with to become confidence, wearing clothes that make you feel confident is lovely. Don't force yourself to go for a style that just isn't your vibe or you "want to make your vibe" in an instant, especially if you feel off about it.
Adjust yourself if you really wanna change the aesthetic, but aesthetic clothing for aesthetic sake's overrated.
I know it's hard, so just don't give up if you really wanted to aim for something feminine. Maybe the clothing stores and confidence became your nemesis due to weight and you went to masculine clothing because of it (my mom would know).
      Either way, you go sweetie
