I’m a natural turner so I’ve had no problems doing multiples my entire career, but this video helped me so much to finally get my 6th/7th pirouettes. If you’re a natural turner I’d still definitely recommend this video!

Terpsi V My technique of doing 7turns,....shifting your weight to the front leg since the beginning will also make you go straight up and balance better, than weight in center and shift to front leg later. Also, think of yourself like a an unwind screw and have force untwisting... at the same time, from belly down force goes down, from belly to head force pulls up as if u have a string on top of your head. Lastly watch your arm position well because it easily throws anyone off balance. Hope this helps.

Hi Claudia. I agree with the arm exercise comment. When I started to use my lats and back, I got an extra turn in with no effort. I also stopped winding my upper body like a pretzel. I watched all your videos and am a fan. Thanks so much for a great channel.

The "scapula" tip is amazing! I've been using it through out my technique and it is helping keep my center engaged as well as the lat muscles. In the pirouettes, it helps keep me from starting the turn with one shoulder. I've also benefitted greatly from the "puppet elbows" and the "weight between both feet to prepare" tips in the turns on pointe video. Thank you for explaining the same corrections that dancers get their entire career in a way that is more accessible with fantastic visualization and rhythmic techniques! Please keep up the generous and informative videos, it is much appreciated :-)

I will fall out my turn, because I move my head weird, when I try it while turning. And when I try it while making 'turns' on my whole feet, so that I can practice spotting without immediately falling out, I will still get dizzy! Please help me

lifting the chest actually has to do with the correspondent area of the back (near the 6T vertebra).
Also the shoulderblades must go firstly down and THEN sideways, simultaneously with the lift of the back at the area of the 6T
