this comment was a long time ago but just for anyone who has the same question- i couldn’t stop hopping in turns, but now i don’t do it at all, you have to make sure you connect your plié to your turn, for every single pirouette. make sure you push through the floor and pull up, because if you are just relevé without pushing down, it’s just basically physics will make you be jumpy and not able to turn. I hope this helped anyone who needed help!

Lindsay Marie Hello, how are you doing? I love gymnastics, and sometimes it makes me sad when I see gymnasts doing messy triple or quadruple turns instead of clean doubles. Many gymnasts have so much power and have far too much speed and momentum. I had the same problem (I used to do rhythmic gymnastics). Then I got a new coach, and she made me do very slow turns at the beginning, and I improved so much in a couple of hours

So I’m doing a summer technique for dance and it’s basically auditions to get in a higher class in dance and I haven’t done dance but my fire dance wants me in her class so I decided to do it with her I pick up on the choreography fast but I haven’t been able to do the turns so I’m trying to learn them quickly so I can get better and possibly get in a higher class and yes I know I might not get run a higher class cuz I have never done any type of dance but I did tumbling and I can pick up on choreography fast

First in the comments! Keep making videos, Claudia! They have helped me so much. I have been watching your videos for while and now that I am currently attending a new dance studio, everyone is telling me that I am really good it is more than likely your videos that have helped my so much! Could you do a video on middle splits?

This is amazing video. Thanks! Can you do a video on effective exercises on turnout? I am always getting feedback about my turnout. My hip is very flexible, but somehow i just don't know how to turn out more.
