I got a time capsule but my inventory was full so I assumed it was just the ion battery. I looked back at the capsule later and it said this: please take care of my cuddle fish for me. Here's an ion battery for payment! *I DONT THINK I CAN EVER SLEEP AGAIN*
Don't worry, the code automatically removes things like cuddle fish eggs from time capsules. Anything that is made deliberately hard to find won't likes show up in the capsules.
Iirc, you also can't put Cyclops/Seamoth/Prawn Suit upgrade modules in them either. If you pick up any time capsule with a full inventory, the game automatically give you "extra" storage spots to carry the items back, and those spots disappear as soon as you offload the items. Sadly, this does not translate into a glitch to get infinite storage spaces.
Also, my favourite thing to put into time capsules is some a food item, a water item, a diamond, an enamelled glass, an aerogel, and one other item of use that I have, like a ruby or something. Or I'll leave out something else to put in a wiring kit. Not relevant, just wanted to share. :)

as a subnautica for nintendo switch player, i can say we cannot put cuddlefish in the bioreactor (or the game is just buggy)

When I started Subnautica I was basically screaming the whole time "I DONT WANNA DIE!" even though I already knew every monster and where they were.
When I was near the end and explorded everything, every moncster was know my friend. And i mean every monster. Including the VOID Ghosties. Dont ask me how. All they do is give me a love tap and leave me alone.

Apparently not diving straight from the drop pod used to skip this achivement too. if you went above then jump dived in it didnt count.
You know what I’m just gonna say it.
One time I used the in-game console commands to spawn in 1 silver ore one time. I felt so guilty after I spawned it in that I threw it into the dead zone and vowed to never cheat again
I respect the no cheating vow but why would you throw the silver into the dead zone. Why not throw it into the void?

Tip: Subnautica in VR looks amazing but Leviathans are more terrifying

Copper is easy to find. It drops when you break the barnacles on reefbacks

7:58 yes i spent 25mins to make a cyclops depth module 2 and found out i already had it
Dude I spawned right by the Aroura, like as close as the safeshallows can get you. I often get materials from the kelp forest that’s right next to the reaper on the back of the ship (subnatica players know what I’m talking about) every time I’m their I just keep hearing the reaper roar non-stop and it’s greatly annoying, because as we all know the reaper never stops roaring for a second.
Also for any new subnatica players make sure you check out the reef backs. They have barnacles on their backs that you can break, 9/10 you will get copper while 1/10 is silver. However the barnacles don’t respond, but it’s a great way to get copper for the batteries your gonna need to make for your equipment. (FYI the barnacles are only on the adults)

i had an even worse bug than crashing like 14:20
Ok so while playing BZ like a year ago i was exploring one of the caves near my favorite base spot right. So to get back out i was just going through and went through what I thought was an opening. Little do I know that for whatever reason this hole will make all collision vanish and most of the land disappear when i get too close. This particular playthrough i put my base by the heat vents around the Satellite Island. So I swam, and swam, confused as to where the world went. I get to my base which is now floating but still has collision. I enter, put my loot away, then go to save. While paused I left the house to go get snacks which takes about 12-15 minutes on foot. I get back and the "saving in progress" icon is still up.
Point of the story is that the hole broke my ability to save and I lost about 3 hours of progress and my life.
Lesson of the day: Do NOT enter reality breaking holes if possible, save at least every 30 min or after important hauls.
Something similar happened to me and i deleted the game out of anger and sadness.

That first meme is so true went from being scared when I heard a reaper leviathan near my base that wasn't supposed to be there to me hunting it down with a knife because it got stuck in the edge of the safe zone and the sandy red area and his roar got on my nerves XD

Ok, everyone here, I assume you guys play subnautica, so here are some tips.
Barnacles on the back of reef backs drop copper, titanium and silver, but copper is a common drop.
The grav-trap is extremely useful. Find the fragments for it first, I'm pretty sure they're in the creepvine forest. Find the bioreactor fragments, usually in the grassy plateaus (red grass place), make the bioreactor, then use the grav-trap to collect small fish to use for power or even food.
Before going into the lost river/inactive lava zone, build the pawn suit (I'm sorry I forgot where the fragments are), attach the drill arm (should be found in the aurora shipwreck). Or if you don't want to do all that, make sure you bring down two ion cubes. Keep in mind, the prawn suit can also go the lowest out of all the vehicles.

I also built by Neptune on top of the dead zone so I'd always have a reason to go there and so the 3 Adult Ghost Leviathans can watch me escape and possibly release my time capsule so it goes down into the abyss (I haven't got up to doing the time capsule yet).

Fun fact: if you go to the dunes and perimeter defense shock the reaper out far enough and lure him back in you can get 2 reapers in the dunes!
Here’s a tip to get copper: Reefback barnacles, they drop copper often. (In my subnatica world)

Copper is the third most common ore I’m able to find after titanium and quartz.

I have never gotten the PRAWN to properly pick up anything aside from the automatic pickup when mining large ores. Idk if I'm doing something wrong, but it never seems to understand that I'm trying to grab the rolling piece of copper on the sand and not continue to drill it into oblivion.

I have found a way around the copper situation if you go to the grassy plateau reefbacks have barnacles and you break those to get copper or even silver. When I found that out I said nice

I only use my cyclops to transport my prawn suit long distances, for example from my base in the safe shallows to the lost river
Otherwise I use my seamoth- the cyclops is just too big and I like being nimble
