Elite Dangerous - Easy Way to Kill Thargoids

- This shows a relatively easy way to kill the Thargoids. Not much skill is required - just point and shoot mainly. The method is based on having the right ship (strong ship) and weapons, and using it in the right place counts a lot more than the actual combat technique.
I subsequently tried the Anaconda, and it's just like I though. The guns are more accurate, but it's not quite as strong. Overall, it kills in about the same time, though is definitely better at getting the Scouts.

Don't forget not to go to a planet where gravity is more than 0.5g

I would, but I couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo, when it comes to Fixed Weapons. I can't say I wasn't super pissed off to find that when I had unlocked and fitted Guardian Turret weapons, the sneaky tinkers had actually given me less effective Fixed weapons. Insert expletive of your choice here!
If it helps, it was the same for me at first, but things settled down after the first couple of hours. I had probably used fixed weapons once in the 12,000 hours I'd previously been playing. The plasma is much easier to use than the gauss. Somehow it seems to be easier to aim

@@hughjardon3538 Xobiology is the way to go in early game...so I hear. I took one of my new Sqn Members to check it out and well. A good hour got us 5 Million. Not great. I have yet to see someone show a good route in a good video. Yamiks has a good crack at it but too much is off screen and it's a bit, well, Yamiks. Could you be the one?
@@williamvorkosigan5151 I might do one in the future, but I'm too involved in the Thargoid war at the moment. We're having a lot of fun, especially with the new stabiliser things that allow you to have an extra weapon.
@@hughjardon3538 Yeap. Thargoids are not my thing, perhaps because fixed weapons just don't work for me. I was outraged to unlock Guardian Turrets to find that they were just less good fixed weapons in practice. I have applied 5 AX Advanced Multi Cannons Gimballed to my Krait for now. I might have a proper look if they ever make guardian weapons Gimballed and Turrets behave like turrets. Thank you for your time and all of your videos. I got my start in 2018 with your getting started combat series.
