While she doesn't scat, she a naturally, beautiful voice that will melt your heart and sings a lot of the old standards and does not have to take her clothes off to sing a song. Now here she is at 57yrs still singing, swinging, scattin' with the best of them - and STILL blowing people's minds! Ella was classy and fabulous all at once.
Been listening to her since I was 9 yrs. Old. Learn to scat some of her songs, How high the Moon, & Air Mail Special. Use her style when singing, but have been told I soun like Chris Connor.
