Spinosaurus in Prehistoric Kingdom feels like a coincidence. I made a Chased by Dinosaurs episode in Zoo Tycoon 2, featuring Spinosaurus and the rest of the creatures that live with it!!

Giganotosaurus is bigger than T-Rex
First of all, that's extremely debatable. Second of all, Tyrannosaurus is heavier and bulkier. Size in science is determined by mass.

Planet Zoo pulled it off, so I won't be too surprised if Prehistoric Kingdom can so the same. Though since it's early access, I doubt it's a main priority.
They basically have nerfed throughout the years
You cant nerf powers that never existed in the first place. Also our current understanding of spinosaurus is more interesting than if it were just another land predator. We have a semi-aquatic leviathan

@flightlesslord2688 People always underestimate just how jacked fish are for some reason. Swimming is hard as hell, especially when you can head up to land for a break. Fish are just giant water muscles that never get tired
Dude, the Spinosaurus is still one of the most intimidating and mysterious creatures to ever exist, and just because it can’t body an adult Tyrannosaurus doesn’t mean it’s weak. After all, it’s still the tallest and longest compared to the other theropods. Tyrannosaurus and Spinosaurus = apples and oranges
