So Luke doesn't even claim to be an eyewitness, also the disciples of Jesus were probably all in their mid to late teens at the time of Christ's death... 70ad is the best approximation for the LAST of the gospel accounts to have been written... does Bill really think a 55 year old couldn't have written the gospel account? or did he just not pay attention in math class?

That's actually incorrect. Mark is the earliest gospel and his was written about 6 to 10 years after Christ was crucified. Matthew wrote his after mark. Luke wrote his according to what Peter told him and Luke was with Paul throughout his journey through the towns in the New testament. Luke was writing what was happening when he was traveling with Paul. John was telling the writer everything that happened when he was exiled in Greece at his old age. So he (Bill) is incorrect to say that.
We have one scrap of one page dated to the first century. Mark took a hundred years to be finished and the four gospels took three hundred years to be created.
I don’t think I want Alan Ritchson as the ambassador for Christian apologetics to Bill Mahr. I challenge Bill to invite Frank Turek or John Lenox!
If god knows the future then he knows the outcome of everything he does. So how come he regretted making humans and drowned everyone? How can he regret anything? And it would make it his responsibility so why would a loving god drown everyone for his actions?

@999everlong I tested the Bible for myself (God wants us to test Him but we gotta follow His instructions with an open-heart) and I found it COMPLETELY true! Btw, the Quran acknowledges the Bible as true as it makes reference to it in that manner. However, the Bible says not to believe anything other than it so the Quran proves itself false but at least it points people to The Truth! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Bill Mahr is right. The wast majority of biblical scholars who are Christians themselves argue - providing the evidence - that we simply don't know who wrote the Gospels. Turek is a guy that grasps for straws. Papias has been demonstrated to be not credible, and he himself admitted that the knowledge HE has received was from sone "church elders" meaning only God knows who.
We also know that some letters (many of Paul, Peter's [one, probably two]) are forgeries.
We know that Mark scribed for Peter and even in Paul’s letters it’s mentioned if someone else is writing what Paul is dictating. But, again, none of these were contested in the earliest period when people could have proved them to be false and those that were false have been shown and proven to be.
Forgery is a WILD claim about the epistles... what evidence do you have about that?
