Looks like Reaper is getting buffed in the latest update *_*Reaper:*_*___ - Changed Conditional Trait Grim Reaper: - Updated localization to reflect that only 1 kill is necessary to trigger the conditional trait effect. - Increased duration of conditional trait effect: from 10 seconds to 20 seconds as written in the perk description. - Changed Machine gun values: - Decreased Machine gun max damage range from 400m to 100m - Increased Machine gun damage from 10 to 40 damage. - Reduced Machine Gun total number of shots from 30 to 15. - Increased Alpha Damage from 350-450 - Increased Reload time from 6-7.5 seconds. - Fast Reload bonus increased - Changed max zoom value from x4 to x6 - Increased turret front armor thickness.
A couple notes with reaper after the buff. The increase in reload from the improved reload mechanic is insane. Setting the tank up for max reload which seems to be -20% and then always hitting the center of the bar during reload will make you fire once every ~1.5-2.5 seconds. making non-cool down conditional DPM at ~20,000. The SCADA also improves reload by a further degree, I think around 15% and then getting the reload buff from killing someone pushes the reload to around ~.7-1.0 seconds (visually it goes to 2.2 seconds, but that doesn't include the improved reload). At that point the reload speed is dependent on where the reload mechanic bar is after firing (i.e. the closer it is to the left side, the faster you reload). My theoretical DPM here is ~44,000 without factoring in criticals and I have seen it. To put it into perspective, the chopper has a DPM of ~3900 stock. I have obliterated Akiras reloading at a faster rate than them. Choppers die in the facehug in 6 seconds. Kents die in 4 seconds, 2 seconds if you hit criticals on the ammo. This thing is bonkers.
I suspect people don't like the tank because they have no idea about the improved reload mechanic - I didn't until I watched this. Reaper also eats full-damage shells from just about everything.
I feel reaper is underpowered. It has less upgrades focusing on damage than a titan and base damage is lower than a titan. For an attacker that's not great...
Seems like a pointless vehicle. You are not playing him as a sniper. You are not using its machine guns. You just go to the cap and fire at nearby enemies. I never saw you get use of your accuracy ability, ever. I mean, you did use it, but it never gave you additional value for activating it. Your shots would strike target regardless. And what is the point of that ability anyway? Base accuracy is already good enough at these ranges. Just play Titan and you will do better.
I mean, Titan can't play peekaboo at full speed behind a smoke cloud while maintaining vision and accuracy. I don't know which tank is stronger but they both have perks in their current alpha state. I had a great time getting Reaper to rank 10. Agree the machine feels useless right now, though.
@@herostrate Yeah, there are some things which Reaper does and Titan cannot. Though, I do not feel that it justifies playing it. Titan is just way more solid vehicle minus firing through smoke. If you want mobile DPS without armor, play Akira. If you want long range performance, play Jager.

As always Notser great video! love in the intro with all the upgrades and and utilities and etc, keep do what you do it is great!
Thanks and appreciate the feedback!
Seems they're extending the alpha playtest till Feb 5. I wish they wouldn't continue to throttle the progression though.
They have their reasons I guess on throttling progression, I would let people play with their toys for a bit
Reaper is a M60a1, titian is a M60a3, and I think the last video tank was a T-55AMD
M60A1 is the M60 with the teardrop turret, Reaper is just the plain M60 that is direct upgrade from M48 with modified turret to mount the m68 gun
T-62M-1
@@OcGuy1 or in other words, Titan is M60A1 or A3, Reaper is M60 (or XM60)
Reaper was devalued by the community because a majority of the bots in the Middle of the alpha were in reapers, in turn they just got farmed a ton
Yeah I have noticed the reaper bots
I want to like Reaper, but the damage output feels so lackluster. And it can barely hold its own in 1v1
hello im trying to figure out what kinda hardware i need to play this.. can you tell me what GPU and what resolution your playing on thanks
GTX 1080 at 1080p
You gona do wows again?
Yes, I’ll be covering both

It's not supposed to be in a stand-up fight like the Titan, but to use its better mobility to exploit flanks or pursue enemies.
this aged well @rigawel2334
Reaper getting 💪 ⬆️
@@killerwhale__ ahah yeah, well that's a good thing, I wasn't alone thinking it was underpowered it look like

It's only me or this game is just what none ask for?
well clearly there are people who have been asking for this since there are at least a few who find it fun
