I love NY pizza, my favorite place to get pizza in NYC is Lucali in Brooklyn. Reservations are needed but it's well worth it. I also like the dollar pizza spots in Manhattan. A few spots serving Detroit pizza have also opened up in NYC and Detroit pizza is also good with pepperoni cups and a thick crust

Mikes Deli is amazing, my wife who is from and lives in NYC ( i'm english) didn't want to go to Arthurs because of the area it's in and had never been. she grew up on Staten so didn't think the Italian would be any better. sanjay kumar Yes, of course. Bring comfy shoes and be prepared to walk. A lot of the landmarks and things to see are close enough to each other. One thing I did, to make better use of time, is to make a list of things I want to see and group them together. You can see so much within just a couple of miles and walk to each thing.
To get great views of the city, it’s very tempting to want to visit every high rise landmark but that can get expensive. I would suggest Top of the Rock, so that you can get the Empire State Building in your view. Also, explore outside of Manhattan. I visited the Bronx and Queens and loved it. I’m sad I didn’t make it to Brooklyn. Let me know if you have other specific questions. Enjoy yourself!
