I was a practicing muslim raised in iran. I came to Christ in supernatural ways. Thank you for this video and i’m surprised there aren’t more Israeli Christians given he did walk those streets and preached there. By the grace of God my dream and calling is to move to Israel and share my testimony with the Jewish and muslim people. Jesus is the messiah the old testament talked about and he is coming back soon. ❤

Unfortunately I meet many, many people who identify as a Christian but have never read the Bible, know nothing about the history in the OT, don’t know when or what day the true sabbath is, know nothing about the patriarchs, or the disciples…….let alone don’t know anything about the gospels. Many look at you strangely if you inquire as to the status of their salvation. Most Christians are clueless as to what it means ‘to be saved’……saved from what? Ha…..but very true. Many Christians believe that one can be saved through baptism. So…….saying one is a Christian, doesn’t say much.
As a Christian my heart is drawn to Israel and the place where my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, laid down his life as the final sacrificial lamb for the sins of the world for those who believe in him. @@BC-vo3ih The truth is open for all to see. People should be free to arrive at their conclusions. Sadly, many lovely Jewish people do not know or read the Tanakh. Simply reading commentaries and relying on someone else’s opinion is not the same as speaking to God face to face. Messianic Jews understand that the veil is no longer there and they can speak to God directly and have a relationship with Him. Indeed, anyone can - you just have to ask God and He will respond.
@@BC-vo3ih I’ve been learning Hebrew for 3 years now and I understand what you mean about understanding the depth and richness of the Word of God. I don’t think I have to defend God or Christianity. I believe that many people have very negative experiences because of people, and unfortunately that hampers the way they see God and how to worship Him. That being said, God is well able to give understanding if we really seek Him- this is what I meant to say. As to who Yeshua is, one needs only read the Tanakh and the Brit Hachadashah to understand. The New Testament/New Covenant was mentioned in Jeremiah 31, and there are more prophecies in Daniel. No one else can fulfill it, if you really believe what the Word says. That being said, when JEWS believe in their messiah, they are NOT converting. How could they? Just because many don’t yet believe, it does not mean that it is not true. Messianic Judaism is not a new thing. ‘Christians’ believe in the God of Israel. Conversion is to other religions (Hinduism, Buddhism, etc), and many don’t take issue with that, and are still considered Jews. Being Jewish is not just about religion; I’m sure you know that. Christian theology does not advocate that there will be no Israel - on the contrary!! We pray for Israel and for God’s purposes to be established for her. She is central and the church has not replaced her. Messiah is coming to save Jerusalem and He will reign from Jerusalem - read Zechariah 12. I too am an American Jew who has come ro believe that Yeshua /Jesus is Mashiach / Messiah, after reading both the Torah and the New Testament (the gospels and the writings of Saul / Paul). Especially the Psalms and Prophets. My family is Orthodox and they don't understand why I would become a follower of Jesus. The Holy Spirit (Ruach ha Kodesh) came upon me and opened my eyes. That's the best explanation I can give! My sin is forgiven by Jesus' sacrifice!
But don't you feel uncomfortable looking at the Cross? Don't you feel like a traitor to your parents, community, and ancestors? I have many relatives who died in the Holocaust, you probably do also. Is your personal selfishness worth disappointing everyone?
What did Jesus look like before Mary gave birth to him? What does Jesus look like now? How can Jesus be the son of God and Mary if he existed before his mother Mary was alive? If Jesus is God, why should anyone care if you call him God and not Jesus? Why are Christians so fixated on Jesus? If Jesus is God and Jews worship God, what is the problem? I don't understand why Christians are like a broken record repeating the same things over and over but can never answer any questions, just responding that it is a mystery or you must have faith. Christians tell me that God only had one son and that is Jesus. They tell me that Jesus is mentioned in the Old Testament and every time God walked or visited someone, it was Jesus because no one can see God. But how could Jesus visit Earth, if he wasn't even born yet? If he was God and Jews worship God, there is no problem with the Jews. But Christians get very angry and curse those stiff-necked, legalistic Pharisee-type Jews and insist they must accept Jesus. This insistence on Jesus makes it seem that Jesus is not God at all but something different. That does mean that worshipping Jesus is worshipping a false God and breaking one of the ten commandments.
Go ahead, believe that Jesus is the Messiah. Other Jews throughout history have been mistaken about the Messiah; it is an error in judgement, not a sin. Christianity has combined the Jewish idea of the Messiah with the pagan idea of a god who makes a baby with a human. The Messiah is a Jewish idea. However, it is the worst sin for a Jew to pray to another God. When Gentiles took over the Jewish sect started by followers of Jesus, they combined the Jewish idea of Messiah with the very pagan idea of God having a son. Son of God was not to be interpreted literally. A virgin giving birth was not to be interpreted literally. How pagan to believe that the infinite God caused Mary who was to be the wife of Joseph to literally give birth to a baby whose father was God. (Perhaps a dna paternity test would show the father as a Roman soldier. Perhaps Mary came up with a wild excuse for her unwanted pregnancy and people incredibly believed her).

Great video. Great interview. Very well done. Messianic Jewish believer here. When I visited Israel 35 yrs ago I was able to visit in the homes of two Arab Christians - one in the Arab quarter of the old city, the other in Bethlehem. They were very nice. Arab hospitality is legendary. I visited in the homes of Israelis as well. It was a wonderful time. Since that time, many of my friends - fellow Messianic Jews have since moved to Israel. I really need to do another 3 week trip there and visit with them.

We were in 2013 in this church and I remember the sermon from that day. Through the sermon I realized that the christian jews are more close to the Bible text than the gentiles christians. Yeshua was a Jew and he taught in the synagogues, he never required men to change their cultural traditions but required men to change their hearts. ❤️ to believe in Jesus is to believe in goodness and love and peace. So it makes sense that the church looks like a synagogue..
He came to correct Jews and show them God is also the God of gentiles, not a local faith only for israelites but an Universal faith for the entire world ☦️

The Jewish people are called to spread the light of God into the world to teach us the ways of God but unfortunately Jews didn’t want to do that and stayed confined within their own community. People went to Jerusalem to see who the God of Israel is. But Yeshua came and He discipled a few and dispersed them all over the world to preach the gospel led by the Holy Spirit. “You are the light of the world, a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden.” This is Jesus telling the Jews who they were that they couldn’t see it for themselves.

When my Jewish mother and grandmother became Hebrew Christians in the 1940's, there were fewer than 2000 Jewish Believers in the U.S. My mom had 5 children who have all professed faith in Jesus of Nazareth as The Messiah.
You can believe all you want but it doesn't make it true. Nobody can trace their Lineage/Ancestry all the way back to Isreal. Its absolutely impossible. And there's neither Greek nor Jew for we are one in Jesus! You're either a Christian or you're not. Christian simply means follower of Christ. Titus 3:9 - Avoid foolish Questions and Genealogies, and contentions, and striving about the law. For it is unprofitable and vain.

@@Sojourner24_7 yep, the church has taken out so much of the truth in their teachings yet the truth remains before us in the written WORD but today’s church/christians conveniently overlook the lifestyle of Yeshua when HE walked the earth before and after HIS crucifixion/resurrection. HE changed nothing in HIS teachings or WORDS. The church has basically rewritten the idea of what Christianity should be and it is NOT following Yeshua….His teachings, HIS commandments and/or His lifestyle. For this reason, we see today’s churches imploding……..what we hear today is man’s idea of what they want the gospel to be………it has little to nothing to do with the true gospel/lifestyle teachings. I'm a Christian but go to online Messeanic church. almost a year now. I have learned alot. But also have a lot to learn. I fill honored to be with jewish people and it makes me feel great to know that they want me to be with them in church.

Great interview. I am a Gentile Christian and was so so excited to see this. I read my bible every day and most days I will sit with the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament. I even read it with a Hebrew words and translation with it. I love Gods words and feel very blessed to be able to read and have these words. A Jew remains an ethnic Jew despite his belief who is the Messiah or Anointed One. A Gentile may have been viewed as pagan in Israel's history in the Bible, but within the Church their belief does not change them being a Gentile, as they remain a non-Jew. Sadly due to centuries of anti-Semitism Jews have difficulty seeing a connection with Gentile Christianity, understandably, yet most Gentiles forget the Jewish roots of their faith.

This is very interesting and a very sensitive subject. There are way more Jews like this than many assume, however it's difficult to make a survey because of two things: 1) Social rejection to the point your family will make a funeral and say kaddish. 2) You are denied aliyah if you openly believe in Jesus. Groups like One For Israel report that since the beginning of the war, their Hebrew channel grew from less than 100k to 300k and growing. You find different degrees of adherence to rabbinical law. Also, some keep the Law of Moses but it's based on the Tanach only. It definitely add to the one of the most debated question "Who is a Jew"? Thank you for this video, very fascinating.
The funny thing is that there is loophole for aliyah where if the grandson of a haclachic Jew is born from a Messianic Jewish family then they are allowed for aliyah due to the grandparent's Jewishness because the grandchildren weren't haclachic Jews in the first place I think (although they identify as Jews of course) - in that scenario only the son of the haclachic Jew (the parent) who became a believer in Jesus is barred from aliyah because they "converted" and aren't eligible to have aliyah.
@@zjzr08 Yes, this is my understanding as well. However, even in this case, if you openly talk about it, they can still try to stall your process. The law of return was amended in the 50s due to the case of Brother Nathaniel: a Holocaust survivor who converted to Christianity, yet helped Jews escape thanks to his position as priest and who never denied being Jewish. With growing open Antisemitism, it is perhaps time to revisit the ruling and find a path for such people to make aliyah. At the end of the day, a Jew is a Jew.

I am an Israeli Jewish believer, meaning follower of Yeshua the Messiah. Regarding keeping of Jewish traditions I would say there is not only a wide spectrum of attitudes among us but it is even fluid within families and individuals. Believers are seekers and usually are on a journey or "walk" with God so they are likely to evolve, also in regards to keeping of Jewish traditions. It may sometimes depend on how they grew up and what Jewish upbringing they had.
The ONLY difference in Bible is our Measiah has come & our Jewish Brothers & sister await theirs. We are ALL to still KEEP Jewish celebration & we’re ALL still under the law of Moses. Those 10 weren’t placed in there for nothing. Welcome HOME!! Shalom 🌹

I became a Christian when I saw holocaust films in the 70s. I had a revelation that the Jews must be special and concluded that Jesus as a new must be very important and decided to follow Him. My Catholic upbringing was mixed-up with other pagan practices and I have since discovered that the traditions of romanism and Irish Catholicism had rejected the Jewish sabbath and Passover which the old testament indicates that God wanted us to keep ,and kept many deceptive practices from greek ,Roman Egyptian and Babylonian gods and goddesses . I am so thankful every day when I read psalms in particular and marvel that the Jews provided these wonderful books for us. I love being part of the wild Irish grafted in element in the cultivated olive tree. The roots of the cultivated Jewish tree are taking hold in my life because I love Jesus . I know what he has done for me. Life not death,resurrection life is real . Jesus rose out of the grave .

I am jewish, son of an orthodox rabbi but I understand why some jews find more meaning with including the teachings of Yeoshuah. I have read some of the gospels and it has appeal. This said i find the obsession of some proselytizers to convert Jews to their faith quite ennoying. Unfortunately I meet many, many people who identify as a Christian but have never read the Bible, know nothing about the history in the OT, don’t know when or what day the true sabbath is, know nothing about the patriarchs, or the disciples…….let alone don’t know anything about the gospels. Many look at you strangely if you inquire as to the status of their salvation. Most Christians are clueless as to what it means ‘to be saved’……saved from what? Ha…..but very true. Many Christians believe that one can be saved through baptism. So…….saying one is a Christian, doesn’t say much.

One of the things the High priest was forbidden to do was to tear his clothing. The passage is found in Leviticus 21 and says:

I don’t think I have to defend God or Christianity. I believe that many people have very negative experiences because of people, and unfortunately that hampers the way they see God and how to worship Him. That being said, God is well able to give understanding if we really seek Him- this is what I meant to say. As to who Yeshua is, one needs only read the Tanakh and the Brit Hachadashah to understand. The New Testament/New Covenant was mentioned in Jeremiah 31, and there are more prophecies in Daniel. No one else can fulfill it, if you really believe what the Word says.
That being said, when JEWS believe in their messiah, they are NOT converting. How could they? Just because many don’t yet believe, it does not mean that it is not true.
Messianic Judaism is not a new thing. ‘Christians’ believe in the God of Israel.
Conversion is to other religions (Hinduism, Buddhism, etc), and many don’t take issue with that, and are still considered Jews.
Being Jewish is not just about religion; I’m sure you know that.
Christian theology does not advocate that there will be no Israel - on the contrary!! We pray for Israel and for God’s purposes to be established for her. She is central and the church has not replaced her. Messiah is coming to save Jerusalem and He will reign from Jerusalem - read Zechariah 12.
I, for one, look forward to the relocation of the UN from N.Y to Jerusalem!

Especially the Psalms and Prophets. My family is Orthodox and they don't understand why I would become a follower of Jesus. The Holy Spirit (Ruach ha Kodesh) came upon me and opened my eyes. I don't understand why Christians are like a broken record repeating the same things over and over but can never answer any questions, just responding that it is a mystery or you must have faith.
Christians tell me that God only had one son and that is Jesus.

But how could Jesus visit Earth, if he wasn't even born yet?

This insistence on Jesus makes it seem that Jesus is not God at all but something different.

Go ahead, believe that Jesus is the Messiah. Other Jews throughout history have been mistaken about the Messiah; it is an error in judgement, not a sin. Christianity has combined the Jewish idea of the Messiah with the pagan idea of a god who makes a baby with a human.
The Messiah is a Jewish idea. However, it is the worst sin for a Jew to pray to another God. When Gentiles took over the Jewish sect started by followers of Jesus, they combined the Jewish idea of Messiah with the very pagan idea of God having a son. Son of God was not to be interpreted literally. A virgin giving birth was not to be interpreted literally. How pagan to believe that the infinite God caused Mary who was to be the wife of Joseph to literally give birth to a baby whose father was God. (Perhaps a dna paternity test would show the father as a Roman soldier. Perhaps Mary came up with a wild excuse for her unwanted pregnancy and people incredibly believed her).

Great video. Great interview. Very well done. Messianic Jewish believer here. When I visited Israel 35 yrs ago I was able to visit in the homes of two Arab Christians - one in the Arab quarter of the old city, the other in Bethlehem. They were very nice. Arab hospitality is legendary. I visited in the homes of Israelis as well. It was a wonderful time. Since that time, many of my friends - fellow Messianic Jews have since moved to Israel. I really need to do another 3 week trip there and visit with them.
You will find Israel so different, more opulence, more metropolitan and many Jewish people representing almost every large Nation in the world. Prophesy is being fulfilled as we speak, just this week over 200 new Olim, returned, immigrants from the nations returned home. Mazel Tov to them all🎉 ❤ ❤.

We were in 2013 in this church and I remember the sermon from that day. Through the sermon I realized that the christian jews are more close to the Bible text than the gentiles christians. Yeshua was a Jew and he taught in the synagogues, he never required men to change their cultural traditions but required men to change their hearts. ❤️ to believe in Jesus is to believe in goodness and love and peace. So it makes sense that the church looks like a synagogue..

The Jewish people are called to spread the light of God into the world to teach us the ways of God but unfortunately Jews didn’t want to do that and stayed confined within their own community. People went to Jerusalem to see who the God of Israel is. But Yeshua came and He discipled a few and dispersed them all over the world to preach the gospel led by the Holy Spirit. “You are the light of the world, a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden.” This is Jesus telling the Jews who they were that they couldn’t see it for themselves.

I was brought up a Christian. Yet after reading God's word through several times as an adult, I came to the conclusion that I wanted to follow God's word and not church traditions. I've now been observing God's appointed Holy Days for over 15 years and am truly blessed by it. @@Sojourner24_7 yep, the church has taken out so much of the truth in their teachings yet the truth remains before us in the written WORD but today’s church/christians conveniently overlook the lifestyle of Yeshua when HE walked the earth before and after HIS crucifixion/resurrection. HE changed nothing in HIS teachings or WORDS. The church has basically rewritten the idea of what Christianity should be and it is NOT following Yeshua….His teachings, HIS commandments and/or His lifestyle. For this reason, we see today’s churches imploding……..what we hear today is man’s idea of what they want the gospel to be………it has little to nothing to do with the true gospel/lifestyle teachings. There is no accountability of sin in our lives today. Thus……’as in the days of Noah’.

We see the Jews being back in the land as fulfillment of prophecy. We read our Bibles regularly, the Tanakh, and we love and worship the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Great interview. I am a Gentile Christian and was so so excited to see this. I read my bible every day and most days I will sit with the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament. I even read it with a Hebrew words and translation with it. I love Gods words and feel very blessed to be able to read and have these words. A Jew remains an ethnic Jew despite his belief who is the Messiah or Anointed One.
A Gentile may have been viewed as pagan in Israel's history in the Bible, but within the Church their belief does not change them being a Gentile, as they remain a non-Jew.
Sadly due to centuries of anti-Semitism Jews have difficulty seeing a connection with Gentile Christianity, understandably, yet most Gentiles forget the Jewish roots of their faith.

Have you ever wondered why worshipping under every green tree is forbidden by God and He warned His people never to do those pagan practices.... and now the world participates in this pagan holiday to celebrate God's Son? Why do we refuse to come to the banquets (God's Feasts) God commanded all His people to remember? This is very interesting and a very sensitive subject.
There are way more Jews like this than many assume, however it's difficult to make a survey because of two things:
1) Social rejection to the point your family will make a funeral and say kaddish.
2) You are denied aliyah if you openly believe in Jesus.
Groups like One For Israel report that since the beginning of the war, their Hebrew channel grew from less than 100k to 300k and growing.
You find different degrees of adherence to rabbinical law.
Also, some keep the Law of Moses but it's based on the Tanach only.
It definitely add to the one of the most debated question "Who is a Jew"?

The funny thing is that there is loophole for aliyah where if the grandson of a haclachic Jew is born from a Messianic Jewish family then they are allowed for aliyah due to the grandparent's Jewishness because the grandchildren weren't haclachic Jews in the first place I think (although they identify as Jews of course) - in that scenario only the son of the haclachic Jew (the parent) who became a believer in Jesus is barred from aliyah because they "converted" and aren't eligible to have aliyah.

However, even in this case, if you openly talk about it, they can still try to stall your process.
The law of return was amended in the 50s due to the case of Brother Nathaniel: a Holocaust survivor who converted to Christianity, yet helped Jews escape thanks to his position as priest and who never denied being Jewish.
With growing open Antisemitism, it is perhaps time to revisit the ruling and find a path for such people to make aliyah. At the end of the day, a Jew is a Jew.

I am an Israeli Jewish believer, meaning follower of Yeshua the Messiah. Regarding keeping of Jewish traditions I would say there is not only a wide spectrum of attitudes among us but it is even fluid within families and individuals. Believers are seekers and usually are on a journey or "walk" with God so they are likely to evolve, also in regards to keeping of Jewish traditions. It may sometimes depend on how they grew up and what Jewish upbringing they had.

I became a Christian when I saw holocaust films in the 70s. I had a revelation that the Jews must be special and concluded that Jesus as a new must be very important and decided to follow Him. My Catholic upbringing was mixed-up with other pagan practices and I have since discovered that the traditions of romanism and Irish Catholicism had rejected the Jewish sabbath and Passover which the old testament indicates that God wanted us to keep ,and kept many deceptive practices from greek ,Roman Egyptian and Babylonian gods and goddesses . I am so thankful every day when I read psalms in particular and marvel that the Jews provided these wonderful books for us. I love being part of the wild Irish grafted in element in the cultivated olive tree. The roots of the cultivated Jewish tree are taking hold in my life because I love Jesus . I know what he has done for me. Life not death,resurrection life is real . Jesus rose out of the grave .

Although the church you visited from what I’ve seen is basically an Anglican style church, it’s a very interesting blend of Judaism, belief in Jesus and Christianity.

I am jewish, son of an orthodox rabbi but I understand why some jews find more meaning with including the teachings of Yeoshuah. I have read some of the gospels and it has appeal. This said i find the obsession of some proselytizers to convert Jews to their faith quite ennoying. Together with that Judaism is an integral part of Christianity and both Jews and Christians should be partners in making our world a great place for everyone.
