Jordan needs to produce the entire new album. This was brilliant
Everyone complaining that this sounds too much like BMTH but as a BMTH simp i see this as a win
As a bmth simp i see this like a loose, if i want to listen to bmth im going to bmth, no others band to sound like them
@@andreslucio186this doesn’t sound like bmth
@@wallysnakes2690The chorus definitely does, tho
Yep, the hook is too BMTHish but everything else is basically Holy Hell, that is enough for me ❤
@@wallysnakes2690Sounds just like them can so clearly see Jordan’s work In this. I hope they go their own way if they stick with Jordan because they’re just be two UK BMTHs
Their best song in a LONG time.
agreed
real.. the last single was meh for me
Definitely not true
Better than all album of 2022
Ok Bucko
This is the first song in a long while that I have enjoyed Sam’s melody choices. I’ve always loved his voice, but many of the songs on the past album or two didn’t stick with me.
Other biggest pro for me was how much faster and more upbeat of a track this was compared to more recent entry’s.
This is probably favorite song since “Animals”
I thought this was a banger and I'm excited for the new album. Personally I think that people are expecting too much from the band and subsequently get dissapointed. Don't care. Banger. New album. Excite. Foop.
As someone that enjoyed Classic Symptoms of a Broken Foop, this clears that in almost every way. One of their best releases in a while.
Make architects great again Jordan should join them!
i don’t think he’s interested in joining a band atm, he can make one hell of a career producing for different bands and keeping it fresh. the guy is a genius
I hope he just produces the new album for them and creates the new direction for them
He won't he does not like touring it's why he left BMTH due to lack of free time.
Joke's on you, they've always been great
@@backspacing101 He's the next Mick Gordon
This is exactly what I expected Wage War's Magnetic to be.
Glad Architects are doing it, really goes to show what they do best and also has a great balance with Seeing Foop!
Gonna sound absolutely amazing in an album!
This song freaking slaps in my opinion. If this is apart of a new album that they’re releasing, I’m 100% in with this. I know people won’t like my opinion but I got into Architects with their newer stuff but I got into their older stuff after listening to their new stuff. Great reaction and have a great day
Also Foop
Same, my intro to architects was searching for songs featuring winston McCall (parkway drive), and I found impermanence. The rest was history
@@ManG1aze yeah their a really good band it’s just their most recent album (which in my opinion that it was good but not the greatest but a good attempt on trying something new) was hated which is a little sad
@@KenDawg25k right, the newest one wasn't my favorite, but it had some good ones. A new moral low ground and deep fake were my favs. I really love their journey as well, very mentally strong dudes for sure.
@@ManG1aze agreed but I can’t wait for what Architects are gonna bring to the table after this song
@@KenDawg25k dude for real. I have a feeling it's going to get nuts🤘🤌
Just grateful these guys are still at it. Awesome track and much love for Architects.
I’ve had tickets to see them in Myrtle Beach for 2 months already, and this just made me even more excited!
Foop, this song caught me on my way home from work. What I loved most about this song was how the drums were felt through out the song, especially in the breakdown. After seeing Dayseeker live, Curse gave me a similar vibe. It's dancy in the chorus, vibey in the the verses, yet the distinguishing parts are found in the guitars strum and bends throughout the song. Then the breakdown comes in, the feeling of the drums and the rather low lows in contrast with the overall style of singing and frys was an intriguing switch up... just to loop back towards the last chorus with a fun dance of elements of the whole song to close us out was a Rollercoaster of a song to listen to for the first time after a long boring shift. This is quite energetic and a fun song. I give it an 8
Loving this and seeing red a lot!
I love it. Still sounds like architects, Sam still sounds like himself but just matured and more diverse now. Gonna jam it for sure
Love your channel!
Thanks man 🙏🏼
I fooping love this song, that chrous is going to be stuck in my head
foop, anyhow great song by them, jordan's production skills are insane!!
Foop it boys, sick track! Would have been cool to see em in Montreal but im already capped at my concerts this year 😂 they actually sold out both shows anyway here , crazy
The kick drum absolutely FOOPS on this, thought the mix was otherwise muddy. Cool track
Basically only Foopitects song that I've loved since Goliath on their previous album. Can't wait to see how they put this new style onto a new album
Great song and I'd also go with 7.5. I found it first by listening to an acoustic cover version by pauli which I actually would rate even with 8.5 because I prefer raw music over the lightly overproduced original. Anyway, it's a cool song!!! 😎
Caskets vibe, really love it
First song since Holy Hell that I TRULY like. This slaps, I hope the do more collabs with Jordan.
First release from Architects that I've genuinely enjoyed in a long time (since Holy Hell). There's nothing groundbreaking about this song, but I think it leans into what Architects does well. Hoping they do more with Jordan Fish if this is the direction they would be going in. Solid track
Yeah!!! Great song. I predicted this collab over on Steve's channel when he left bring me ... first! Lol 😅
I liked it a lot. They really pulled us in with the Nihilist vibes at the start. I think they’re playing with the people who are desperate for a return to the pre-Holy Hell days.
Top tier songwriting. Banger through and through. Huge chorus.
Menyala abangku 🔥🔥
Foop ti mup It was 7.5 for me at the first listen as well, but it grew on me. Love it either way.
Yeah I would say this is their best song since Animals. Jordan's production really kicks ass in this song. I hope Architects plan to keep Jordan on board and do a full album with him!
The chorus is so catchy, and the djenty verse hits all the right notes for me. Love this one!
Foop! Lol, I liked this song and the sprinkling of harsh vocals! It's not overdone or just screaming for the sake of screaming like some other bands/vocalists in the scene. I learned from The Charismatic Voice that your vocal chords lose elasticity as you age and I think Sam is smart for his vocal choices to ensure a long career.
Bring me Architects - Curse!
lets name it like this
That's frustrating, the focus in every comment section on every social network is mainly on parallelism with BMTH instead of the song itselfelf, enjoy this track, support the genre and chill men ;)
FOOP 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Let’s GOOOOO!
Like it!
this song is sick😮💨😻
This reminds me a little of the Holy Hell era, and I like it. It’s a solid 8 for me.
Foop 😊
Song is awesome. Is the most innovative song we’ve ever heard? No, but I don’t need every song to be like that. I want solid tracks that I can just enjoy. This is a 9 for me
I really like this song, it foops!
Yeah 7.5 feels about right. It's a solid track, but I think it's pretty well trodden ground at this point. With Fish in the mix, it would have been cool for them to lean into some more synthy stuff, bring in some different sounds and vibes, and push the boundaries a bit. That being said, I'm not too surprised that this collab hasn't reached the potential that's there between those two groups of writers. Takes a while to get that mind melding to hit strides with.
Hope they keep working together and we hear some really excellent stuff in future. Totally a winning combo.
I think it's pretty fooping sick
Foop!
FOOP!
Foop
New Cane Hill song is🔥🔥🔥
Great reaction! You should react to Cane Hill - The Midnight Sun
Sam is a fucking beast, best singer of his kind, Dan, Ali and Adam total legends, Jordan made this sound just on the next level of hell and heaven at the same time I don’t know if that makes sense I’m just so excited for this song ITS GLORIOUS
Foop foop
I'm a huge fan of the chorus. The breakdown wasn't quite as crabby as I had hoped but that's just nitpicking at that point
Foop 😂
FOOP
Make Jordan a permanent member!!!
That breakdown is SO FUCKING HARD! With the rapping screams over it? FUCKING GOODER!
Bring me the Architects with Jordan Fish, this banger goes only to the stars .. you can clearly hear how much Jordan ideas shaped this song and sound from previous Architects songs :) its all about awesome collaboration between artists ❤🤘🏻⚡
I still prefer seeing red over this one. The beginning had me hyped then it was a lot of just the usual screams/cleans.
You guys are incredible, just admit you love it
What’s wrong with the cleans though?
@@ShadowMorph608 There isn't anything wrong, they said the "usual" meaning there was nothing new or special being done
Guarantee you didn’t like seeing red at first too.
@@Osama_Bin_Ladder I actually loved seeing red first time I heard it
One day, Make Them Suffer. The next, Architects. Who drops next?! More Slaughter to Prevail on the horizon maybe?!
REACT TO THE NEW IMMINENCE ALBUM! Album of the fucking year metal birb
Foop 8/10
Just okay. I am obsessed with Seeing Red still
I definitely prefered Foop. ... I mean Seeing Red. Hoping this one grows on me.
Seeing Red is definitely gonna be hard to too but this is a really solid follow up
Their best song since Doomsday
Easily their best song since Holy Hell
Possibly my favourite song since Animals
Tbh the chorus feels too BMTH, I feel like Jordan might have done a bit too much here. Song is good though either way.
gotta say it, the chorus is rly good but i like this a lot less than a lot of the stuff on classic symptoms
Architects needs the BMTH treatment moving forward. To remove that modern anthemic buttrock tinge. Not the direction to go.
Foop, but just because I love attention 🤘
Foop?
Chorus slaps but I feel the rest of the song was a bit rushed.
Man, Tom was such a talent.
I want to like this, but the chorus just sounds like BMTH. I like both Architects and BMTH but I want both to be their own thing.
React to QWERTY by LP
I think the chrorus is what feels a little bmth... It's not Bad but it's weird. I'm happy they are experimenting, it Will still be a Seeing Red girly
Just got my tickets for the tour! Presale on now. Banger! The grognards need to let it go that 2000s metalcore isn’t the only sound that’s allowed. The elite gatekeepers get real old not allowing anyone to do anything different ever.
Are you happy now?
This felt like bland djentcore Erra to me
Solid track from Architects. IMO All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us was the peak album. They lost some of the magic when Tom passed.
AOGHAU is the album where they started gaining more mainstream attention and it brought most of the "newer" fans into the fold. It's okay for it to be your favourite album, but it's definitely not "peak" Architects because it's just a watered down LF//LT and that album was truly where their sound peaked. For the record, Daybreaker is my favourite album so no personal bias.
Dan and Sam going ham 🤙🏼
I love this band but just couldn't get on with their last album, was just too soft for me. I know bands evolve but have to say i'm glad that the evolution of their sound has brought them back to a bit of angry riffage.
Damn why does it feel like I’m the only person who doesn’t like it, what’s wrong with me 😭
It was a good song. It wasn’t like seeing red where I was like “holy shit” but overall I liked it. I’m excited to hear their new album…….FOOP🫡
f00p
For me idk 5/6 out of 10. It's the definition of fine. Pretty clear Architects just aren't for me anymore
Production is perfect, too perfect. Sounds robotic and soulless, and using the same dates djent/metalcore song structure, really unfortunate considering how much this band could make you FEEL 10+ years ago
Dug the chorus and lyrics. Production is great. No real wow moment in the song to really grab my attention and bring me back again and again though. Basic structure. Cool banger.
Bring the horizon from ebay
The chorus is great. The riffs and breakdown are kind of dull unfortunately. Not sure there’s anyone in the band any more who can write good riffs.
The problem is that sam chooses vocal tones and technics that he didnt masterized or just dont fit with the song, with him or whatever.. you know what i mean, just pick any song before 2020.. and now they overpeoduced the song filling with synths to match the vocal.. this song in particular is good..
It's okay, but still not at the level of Hollow Crown/Daybreaker/LFLT/AOGHAU/Holy Hell. The lyrics especially are not very interesting and honestly, kind of cringe, compared to their past material. The verses have that Architects vibe riff-wise, but it's missing the clean leads with the Strymon/lead guitar lines/atmospheric synths from their past material that created a very distinct soundscape IMO.
it's an enjoyable listen but my god is it relying on that catchy chorus to the point where everything in-between almost feels like filler to get back to it.
As catchy as it is I can also see it becoming stale really fast.
And no, not trying to hate here. I just think it lacks substance.
this is exactly my thought!! been trying to word it for like 20 minutes and you did it effortlessly
I personally feel this was a bit bland bit like there last song.
Mix is awesome other than that its incredibly boring.
Ngl I did'nt like this one. I got into them in the holy hell era and I've loved everything theyve done since 2016 but this song just aint it for me.
This is just generic to me. A forgettable single for sure
Just a worse BMTH song. Still better than their recent ones tho.
(I love both BMTH and Architects, don't jump @ me!)
Bmth has never been better than architects. Except for architects last album
@@wallysnakes2690 you can have your own (wrong) opinion. XD
4/10 sad but boring only cool part is the breakdown
boring pop sound
