I like how bass tone automatically becomes good if you just can hear it in metal song
YES YES YES
MY EARS ARE EXPLODING FROM HAPPINESS HEARING BASS IN THAT SONG SOO PURE AND ORGASMIC THX BYE
To be fair once you hear the bass its hard not to get it right. I've almost never heard a BAD bass tone
the base is really chonky
@@macaron3141592653idk man, I find getting a good bass tone in a metal song is always the hardest part. Except when I had the ten day trial of parallax, shits stupid good
@@macaron3141592653 well the bass is always there its just not something you can pick apart that well, but if you removed it completely you most likely could hear the difference. But yeah when you pull back everything else and let the bass shine through its great
Bring Me The Architects would be a riot of a tour. Maybe include A Day to Remember or Oceans Ate Alaska too?
OCEANS ATE ALASKA HAVE GOT SO MUCH MORE RECOGNITION IN COMMENT SECTIONS THE LAST MONTH FINALLYY
I've been wanting a tour with BMTH, Architects & Asking Alexandria where they all perform medleys of their older Metalcore songs. Like When We Were Young but with 2010s British bands.
Metalcore=pop with breakdowns
This would be a B A N G I N G tour!
They did a tour like this in Europe. That's where I saw both of them for the first time
imagine jordan fish joining architects for synths and backing vocals..
It’s will be goin to Architect in the horizon or bring me the architect
Already considering it as a reality
"That main riff is really Architects All Our Gods like" EXACTLY. THANKS.
If you wanna listen to AOGHAM go listen to it but we don’t want a repeat of it we want something new and different
@@Max-jl2iespeak for yourself plz
@@Max-jl2ie So...I was just pointing out what Nik noticed as I thought the same thing, and I'm glad I'm not the only one able to hear it, compared to all haters saying this new song is mid and has nothing to do with previous sound.
@@Max-jl2ie nah fam we actually want that sound back, All our gods was peak architects.
@@HEADASSLOOKINGAHHH then go listen to it, most people don’t want the same sound every album we want new exciting and different. Not a repeat
With the past 2 albums being more experimental, Sam's singing has really improved. That being said, him screaming again is so refreshing. Dude's vocals are just aging like fine wine.
So many different scream textures now! Heavies, the standard dists and the shouty-RATM edge style, it’s just such a good variety. Not many on the circuit who can do that so flexibly.
The whole song has that "Jordan Fish effect" that we feel with bmth and as an avid fan of bmth when Jordan was around like it feels familiar yet so different
the fish effect lol
"when Jordan was around".
So everything but the last song?
@@notreally-sf3dfeverything after there is a hell
@@filipmorar3516not entirely. Oli produced songs by himself with other artists and for sound tracks. They were still bangers.
@@notreally-sf3dfThey were a band for 8 years before Jordan joined.
I agree with you Nic about Sam's and Ollie's screams, it feels like they are just "this feels right, right here. I need to do this (insert scream/gut here), and see where it goes."
Your brain is cringe
I just love the fact that Nolly is engineering badass punchy drums for so many bands these days. There's just something magical about how he makes them sound.
These typewriter kicks sound so satisfying to me even though I'm not particularly a metal guy
Nolly didn't mix the drums just helped record them
Nolly's signature is side chaining the snare to the room track and expanding the room signal. I know he didn't mix this but it's a cool thing to listen for in his mixes. Really brings the drums to life
@@JankSmankswdym by expanding the room signal?
@@becknorland587 upward compression. Boosting the signal
Jordan Fish just helps bands sound their best. Not like a Bring Me tone but a sensibility in song structure.
Completely disagree. But we’ll definitely see that for sure once their new album comes out. Oli has been delaying it because he wants to keep adding more songs and trying to perfect it. I mean suicide season and TIAH are amazing albums.
@@eclipses3131 Lol. I’m stoked for the new album too.
Jordan Fish is to this "Post-Metalcore" wave what Adam D. is to the 2000s "Diet Melodeath" wave of Metalcore.
They cooked 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
I love architects but that song was kinda mid
It's much better than Seeing Red tbh. Love this track.
@@UltimateIrishRebel I simply cannot agree with this statement, but I respect your opinion
LET THE FISH COOK FRR
Ugh, I love Architects. Their old and new stuff. So proud of the boys. They're smashing it 🖤
Sam is doing what he does live and just throwing lows in all over for no reason. He secretly wants everything to be heavy
yeah not a fan of those lows, they sound cool live but they are so random in these last songs.
I think it's just easier for him to do lows than high pitched screaming. You can hear he suffers a lot to sustaining it. So throwing in some random lows, still makes it heavier than going into normal clean voice again.
@@HEADASSLOOKINGAHHHikr man, exactly same for me just sound weird and random
@@PreFXDesignsI don’t think he’s suffering - it’s more that it’s lots of effort and power required but the voice is still crisp because his technique and his singing is so refined. The lows are just a nice detour I think. I love it, shows the variety as a frontman which is a nice bit of a peacocking and imo, it does still work with the song as almost like a vocal tone contrast. Like having two singers almost.
@@HEADASSLOOKINGAHHHI personally really love them. Gives it that powerful emotion-filled effect without harming his voice. Gives the song depth.
Love or hate them but architects kinda carried the scene in 2010's those 3 albums from lost forever to holy hell had the scene in a deathgrip and more consistently good music has come out because of them.
There are hardly any other albums as good as Lost forever or AOGHAU
@@PM-vv3ucAll our bleaghs*
Carried the scene in 2010 they were great but you need to go back and look at the metalcore bands at that time that came out with albums. The devil wears Prada zombie ep came out the chariots long live came out as well I remember. An those are just the more popular band 2010 to 2012 was some peak metalcore. I like them a ton but this couldn't be a worse take it didn't need carried in 2010 at all.
@@El.Sasquatcho69 Oh boy Zombie EP is TDWP's best record, overall. I mean, "heavy" wise. Production and mix on point.
After 5 years we finally get a riff that sounds like Architects again 😂
The last two albums were great IMHO, yet this song brings back the pre-2020 sound back.
@@snakeeyes9246 I didn’t hate the last two records but they sorely lacked in the riff department for me. This song seems like a good balance between keeping the Architects identity and the last two “OctaneCore” records.
Yeah finally a good song.
The key of good architects songs are
Ambience
Tasty riffs
high pitched scream.
The chorus (and chorus 2.0) sounds good enough to make me ignore the lack of other things. But Nik is right, at first didn't think of it but damn it sounds like bmth.
I hear a bit of Spiritbox in the pre-chorus as well
Both of them are so much pre spirit box lmao
@@caylei9967 and?
One of the earliest concerts I went to was BMTH, Parkway Drive, Architects and TDWP all in one show. Funny to see how both BMTH and Architects have overlapped and taken different directions over the years.
Love both bands, found architects from bring me. I will say that I prefer the direction that architects have taken over the years with their new stuff.
I'd love to see a Bring Me The Spiritects tour
YES!
Bring me the architects box 😂
@@LONGname46, sounds like someone asking me to bring you a time capsule, I love it 🤣
We already had a bmth / architects collab on the sadness will never end.
Ahhh a well informed individual 👏 thought I was the only one Who knew that 😅
@@kristopherkosut9348well they also havr feature on "Even if you win, you're still a rat" from Daybreaker album
And even if you win you’re still a rat
Oli was on Even If you Win on Daybreaker too
People begged for 10 years to have a collab again, then everyone forget it for 10 years, then it's actually real (even if it's not Oli)
bring me the architects
Build me the horizon
Architect the fish
Original
Love this mix of old & new Architects! Didn't quite like their last album, but this one's shaping up to be a really good one.
Fair play, I’ve been off architects the last few albums but these 2 singles are absolute bangers! Looking forward to hearing what comes next!
i loveee this song. i love how the vocals in the chorus sound pop like
Right? Same! I love both Architects and BMTH, so this is really repeat-friendly one
Y’all got them balls deep in your throat smfh
It's the chorus vocal harmonies that you can tell Jordan had input on. It's the same kinda stuff he'd do on bring me songs, swear you can hear his voice in there but if it is just Sam then the note choices are definitely Jordan input
The chorus is soo bmth. Even with the melody end variation in the second chorus like jordan fish always does + the last chorus accapella soft with the drop.
Ik that‘s basic song structure but still it was so jordans idea
That is such a good bass tone
I cannot keep up with all the bands anymore, so news Nik is great to have. Thanks! Straight into my playlist.
Banger, feel like the song definitely flows like a bring me song, feels very well put together with all the different layers
i love that chorus 🔥🔥
Love it when Sam throws the lows willy nilly like that! Seeing Red and Kool Aid is my two favs at the moment.
Seeing Red is still constantly in my rotation but this slaps. I'm really excited for what's next
Bmth + architects= spiritbox
Im scratching off the spiritbox percs right now STRAIGHT UP. I need a new drop RIGHT NOW
Womp womp
Holly hell + the classic symptoms of a broken spirit and Jordan added synth and the second chorus C part written by Jordan, and maybe he sang a few layer for back vocals.
So actually THERE IS NOTHING NEW maybe Architects find the balance between Old and New era.
More of bmth vibes i would say jordan vibes, he's an amazing producer
This is cool, especially the chorus is fricking huge. The chorus hooks are seriously good.
This did NOT disappoint
I guess this is Jordan's version of Kool-aid
I feel like vocally, Sam and Ollie finding that freedom you touched on makes them so much more unique sounding in my opinion.
I think that the secret why this sounds ‘so BMTH-like’ is because there’s a lot of Jordan’s backing vocals hidden underneath Sam’s mains in the clean parts. Especially in the pre-chorus, it just screams ‘Jordan’s here!’
I love the pre chorus. Really vibe with seeing red and now this. Wonder if we're getting an album next year
Ig the next time we're gonna get a song with Jordan's work is gonna be through Spiritbox
I see some ppl keep saying they are finally heavy again and stuff but even in Classic Symptoms, be very afraid was still a heavy metalcore song although the chorus was a bit off
Bmth and Architects at the Hordern Pavilion in 2016 was the first gig I ever went to on my own. I got a good spot in the pit and did wall of death. It. Was. Awesome. 😍
This is good need more like this.
Cannot wait to see them at Rockville next month!
This has to be one of the best choruses I have ever heard. Instantly hooked. It's beautiful.
Poor Soul
@@dachstheangry9735 Nah, I just like to enjoy the moment, stop thinking objectively
I feel like a lot of bands have evolved towards the same sound. Don't get me wrong I love it! But you've seen it with both Architects and BMTH where they went from heavy to the more chorusy songs you hear now. Great song tho!!!
The start of the track is really interesting! Almost sounds like it's coming off the back of another track ending.. Can't wait for the album! Definitely All our gods vibes in this! 🤟 0
Love it!
All I hear is deadmau5 and Rob Swire when the chorus hits.
I’ve never heard that song but I checked it out and you’re not wrong lol
Nik.. it cracks a smile... agree on the chorus with you too
Designers of Houses and Buildings Delivering Me the Line Where the Sky and Ground Meet

Architects+Bring Me=Wage War apparently
Seems Like Architects took note of nicks „how to architects“ video
The banging cat gif actually bangs to the tempo lol
Lets be honest, it's got the heavy BMTH influence with the production and hooks thanks to Jordan Fish and I'm all for it. I think that artists should be able to experiment but they should have a good mix in their albums from the familiar - the out there experimental.
I await even more experimental tracks with the heaviness we've gotten thus far. Architects for the win. And I also hope Jordan could become a member!
God I love this song so much, especially the lyrics!!!
I really like this verse though, not predictable, but catchy and super groovy, I like it when Sam breaks out from the growls for one line. That first Pre-chorus is incredible and they should've brought it back but modified.
Architects are finally starting to get back to a good place again
I'm enjoying this trend of the og metalcore goats going heavy again
I think it is amazing
The chorus in seeing red is also very much like what they did im the last 2 albums imo
Nice quick review, was curious what you'd think of this one. Fairly similar to Seeing Red I'd say, with less metalcore clichés. Can't get enough of their last 2 singles, catchy, angry, heavy, perfect dose of dopamine for my ADHD brain lol.
The vocals and sound of this track low-key sound like the last album of wage war
Yes!
Woke up and chose violence with that intro
Smooth gym song!
Make them suffer just came out with a banger too
🔥🔥🔥💯
Yes they did. Waiting for the reaction.
I remember when Jordan joined BMTH and a wave of heckling poured out that BMTH was not the same. Personally I thought, from the very beginning, that Jordan was the brains behind any success. Guy is amazing, if it wasn't for him, BMTH wouldn't have gone back to the old songs live and Oli would probably have continued with his voice problems. I can't say of course that Oli isn't a good frontman, he can put on a brilliant show, but their artistic symbiosis over the last few years has been something wonderful, it's cruelly strange to see Jordan absent from Bring Me The Horizon. However, if his departure was to strengthen, Spiritbox, Architects, Bad Omens and all the new wave bands, then Jordan has the chance to take metalcore to total heights with his knowledge and ideas.
Sick song
I dig both new tracks!
Im not that big of an Architects fan, but Seeing Red and now this track are absolutely amazing
Architects of the Horizon 🌅
Where is the new make them suffer reaction Nic?? 🤘🔥🤘
Architect me the horizon !
Wow. I thought it was only me to seem to hear Jordan's voice in the chorus, especially in the second part of it
And pre-chorus. His backs are all over it
i’ve been waiting.
Damn this is good one
The similarity to Caskets in the chorus is uncanny. Sounds dope
It’s gonna get real old if every single time Jordan Fish works on a song… We all say it’s bring me the Horizon. Can we let bands do things without griping they don’t sound the same as 2008 constantly?
If it doesn’t sound like BMTH then sure but this sounds like a BMTH song
The chorus is exactly like a bmth song.
Funny how I was just a minute ago searching for your reaction to this
I don't know what direction will they choose on album but chorus in two singles are catchy af
Said the same thing when i heard that riff “it’s sooo all our gods have abandoned us” 😍
That chrous has been stuck in my head all week

Have had this on repeat since it came out.
Very happy with the new tracks so far.
This one is a bouncy, groovy version of Nihilist 🤘
Not gonna lie this is my favorite song they've ever made
Edit: It sounds waaaay better in the car
There is a lot of Oli style vocals aswell.
This songs gets really good...... Just wait Nik. 😉😁👍🖤
Riffa and Drums are back. I'm happy.
This was an ouroboros - it's Architects doing Wage War. Meanwhile Wage War is doing I Prevail in their newest song.
i liked the new song. Reminds me a bit of All Our Gods mixed with some of the newer melodic stuff from For Those Who Wish, mixed with a small amount of Here and Now. While still not as heavy as their older material, I like it 300% more than most of their last album.
Bangers.. Menyala abangku 🔥🔥
Bout time Architects are awesome again.
Tbf, Architects have spent a decade leading the way with pushing metalcore, to the whole point that a whole genre is based on that doomsday riff.
If they want to cash in and just make solid bangers now that keep them in arenas, they've earned it, and fair play to them!
This is giving bring me vibes
