I find your tutorial very easy to understand. And as you promise, you stayed with the viewers in every step of the way. I'm currently doing "Cambridge" beanie for a friend. Thank you very much.
Juan this was a great tutorial I do think a beginner could follow your instructions. They’re very easy to understand I like how you show where to place your hook in the stitches. Awesome teacher skills 👍🏻🥰🥰🧶🧶🧶
Your tutorials are by far some of the very best available. Your patience and thorough explanation of every step makes it so easy to follow along. You are an excellent teacher. Thank you for being you!
Hi Juan. I did it, I crocheted your hat. I love it! It’s not the first hand I made, but it’s the first hand I made that I really love. It is so perfect and comfortable thank you thank you.
What a stunning hat now i have to make 2 child and 8 adult sizes for christmas gifts. Ive ordered the yarn, itll be here tomorrow. I hope i can make 10 before the big day. Juan you are so good with your instructions. Thank you so much xxx
Hi Juan, I have been looking for great crochet projects and came across you !! You are about the best instructor that I have ever had the pleasure of working with !! I have been crocheting for years, and I love how you explain everything !! If I were a beginner I would definitely choose you !! Keep Crocheting !!
We appreciate all you do. To have to do. Doing one video is awesome but to do one of right and one for left is so appropriated. You are so kind thelp both. I promise I will watch the videos I missed.
I am so glad I found your channel! Your teaching style is so calm and easy to follow. You definitely have a gift. I never tried the front post TC. I assumed it would be too difficult for a beginner like me. I was wrong!! The beanie turned out to be lovely. I made it for my sister who loves bright colors. I made it the a Caron Simply Soft Paints in Bright Rainbow, contrasted with a bright yellow. Your advice to “trust the process” kept me going and was spot on.
Hello friend absolutely gorgeous set. I love the scarf. I'm working on a scarf myself right now along with a baby blanket. You inspire me in so many ways. Keep the tutorials coming and looking forward to your live tomorrow 12-3-23. See ya then Juan ❤😊
Hi Juan,I have been watching your channel for awhile. The first video I watched when it came out was where you were showing granny square afghans your mom and you had made... tons. You are now the "talk of the town" as they say.Congratulations.Love your tutorial..so easy to follow and think maybe I can even make now.Your newest yarny groupie.
Omg.. Thank you so much Juan.. I made this beanie right along with you.. Thank you for making it clear and easy for me..!! My first beanie from the top down.. I usually do the rectangle one..I got out of my comfort zone.. Thanks again..
Hi Juan I am a new subscriber love this tutorial and pattern you make it so very easy to learn by all the very detailed steps to making the pattern I am going to make both hat and scarf that goes with it for the holidays thank-you so very much.
It's so weird seeing your room flipped the opposite way! This hat is so pretty, it looks like falling rain. And the name brings back memories of when I used to work in Kendall Square and often would get so immersed in work that the a/c shutting off at 9pm would cue me to go home.
Thanks Juan!!! I’m working on the scarf right now then will do the beanie. Doing in gradient blues for my red-headed step son. I think he will LOVE these!!!
Great tutorial, Juan! The stitch definition on the beanie - and the scarf - is superb! My grandsons both want new hat and scarf sets for Christmas. I think this hat is just what I've been looking for! I can't wait for the scarf tutorial! Thank you so much for sharing your talent. Looking forward to your next vid. Peace 🕊 and Love 💜 to you, friend. 🙏 xx
I made this hat today and so far I’ve made four of the hats from different tutorials you’ve put out recently. Thanks for making such easy to understand tutorials Juan. ❤
Nice set! I’ve been looking for a simple hat and super scarf set. Any ideas? Not really fond of a lot of texture. Thank you for taking the time to do this tutorial. 🧶💝
Juan, I wouldn't miss one of your videos after having found you. I too think Crystal is a very special lady and I taught myself to crochet watching her videos a few years ago. I am a papercrafter, quilter, fiber artist and beadist. It is a coincidence that we both love PURPLE. Looking at my yarnscape, you would think I don't see any other colors (lol). I do have a question: where do you get your crates that are on your yarn wall? I really would love to see one up close and know where I could get the same. Hope you and your mother have a blessed holiday and enjoy good health throughout the new year. Hope to chat again. Blessings . . . your friend, Denise (stampingmeme)
Juan, I know you have issues with that light yarn being called charcoal. Think of it like this: When starting a charcoal grill, the briquettes are almost black. As the coals get about half way and are ready to be cooked upon they are dark gray/ red and glowing. Toward the end, when the coals are almost burned out they are light gray in color and almost dust in texture. So if this thought process is followed the yarn being called charcoal might make more sense. Just a thought.
Thanks for a great tutorial. Just finished and it looks marvelous. I used Caron fleck yarn without changing colors and it looks pretty nice inside out as well. Cool. That extra finishing edge is a very nice touch. Learned a few things today thank you.
So glad you didnt skip any rows as i love a full tutorial as im partiallu sighted . So thank you 😘😘
