Drag Car Sound Byte (Binaural/3D Audio)

In my videos, I use binaural audio instead of the traditional zoom mic or shotgun mic. Those mics tend to record sound in a center orientation which sounds like it is right in front of you....where as the binaural microphones record sound from a 360 degree omni-directional plane, which produces a superb spacial orientation that gives an all around presence. It is more accurate to what your ears are actually hearing. This drag car was recorded with in-ear binaural microphones and is exactly what your ears would hear if standing there in person. This sound is straight mics, with no bass reduction added.

The Chevy Monza! Don't see them too often anymore. Used to be somewhat common in NHRA Super Gas. Topless roadster have taken over for the most part now days. Still makes for a nice Super Pro or Pro Bracket ride.
