One of the better rags from the year 1915 and one of two rags by Robert Hampton that are classics. Published by Stark Music (John Stark) in St. Louis in 1915.

This is a reproduction of the original score with some formatting changes and corrections. Eliminated cross-staves notation in the introduction. Eliminated the D.S. jump by adding 16 measures of the repeated A strain in its proper place following the B strain. Added naturals to all the As in measure 65 and to the first left-hand chord in measure 70. Added missing start-repeat bar for the B strain.

Oh I agree it's a fantastic rag. Thank you very much for mentioning all those. 15 and 49 were the way the original printed them but I have added a natural to the LH E, as also pointed out by Valentine, to make an A major chord. The other two were my mistakes and I've corrected the Musescore version accordingly. Thanks again! (Can't fix this version on YT once uploaded).
a fine rag - i think joplin would like this one...
Joplin was still alive in 1915 and probably did like it, being from St. Louis. It is a great rag.

Did Robert Hampton perhaps belong to the inner circle of Scott Joplin, like Arthur Marshall and Scott Hayden. I wonder.
He was part of the St. Louis ragtime scene, but arrived after Joplin had already left for New York.
