Thank you! I was wondering when anyone would show some love to this rarely played Johnson work. I still have yet to find Starlight, a Johnson march that I have heard only twice, but admire anyway.
Excellent!!! What a great joy to hear! A tad bit rushed, but who cares. That was magic! I could imagine people in theaters watching a silent film. Charlie Chaplain goofing off and the audience bursts out laughing :) Thank you for sharing!
Hey I really like you videos! Can you do a tutorial on a song called A Picture of Her Face by Scott Joplin because I can't find other tutorials and I really want to learn it badly thx
Nice. I like your playing. Excellent left-hand work.
Love this thank you - what a happy rag!

I don't think it's rushed at all!
That is some great playing Mr Hall! I have a personal request: could you play the Frog Legs Rag by James Scott? Please!!! I would love to hear it!
It's perfect

you are my sunshine?
johnnyhmash So I'm not the only one who noticed that...
When I play this, I actually do "You Are My Sunshine" the 2nd time through the trio.
Barber Pole Rag from 1911 predates You Are My Sunshine which is said to have been written in the late 1920s.
In that case ,what a rip off!
I know you don't normally take requests, but could you maybe learn Fingerbreaker by Jelly Roll Morton?
Quite the request there! Haha
Haha well I'm learning it but hearing how he plays it may help me out a little bit
Yeah it's a piece that is on my to do list this summer when I have a bit more free time. But hope your fingers stay in tact when learning it mate!
Who thought we are still watching 5 years later ?
but no one is better than Scott Joplin
