these two have quickly become one of my favorite ships of all time & this song feels like it was written for them so HOW COULD I NOT MAKE THIS??? i will forever be in hell thinking about what they could have been (damn you, nolan), but what they did have was truly beautiful and i can't wait to edit them again and again.
it took me over a month to make this and it was my first try at this "style" of editing, so if its a sloppy mess, that's probably why. all that aside, i really hope you guys enjoy!
and if anyone has any tips for me, they would be much appreciated :)

Great tribute for this pair!! My favorite team for this series were Finch-Reese-Carter-Fusco!!! The two first season were amazing i am watching them again. Carter and John shared a great respect and mutual admiration so clean like beautiful.

I’ve watched the show three times now, and each time I find something new about the characters I thought I knew like the back of my hand.
John lost so much, and yet still had nothing to loose.
Finch and Carter gave him everything he had, a life, a home, a purpose, and a love. He found himself within them. He protected them, and gave himself up for them. He loved Finch, and Carter. He did not find himself worthy of Carters company or love, that’s why he didn’t take advantage of what he had in front of him. Which he now regrets.
He LOVED Carter, even way back in season one she was one of two people he couldn’t loose. He saw the way she saw the world, and as he says ‘she is one person the world cannot afford to loose’.
He lost a part of himself when he lost Carter.
A part of John Reese died with Joss Carter that night. He was never the same again.
He lived on for Finch, because he owed it to Finch to protect him, and love him. He devoted his life to him, because he was scared to loose him the way he lost Carter.
He was with his family until the last day.
He gave up protecting what he loved most, and he did it with a smile.
That’s his happy ending, believe it or not.
John Reese isn’t real, but he’s real to me, and somewhere he’s up there looking down with Carter, at Finch, taking care of him.

god. i miss them, i wish they had more content, or maybe even a reboot I don’t know anything to see them again.

I loved this show. It was such a sad but beautiful moment when she died and he unleashed his full terror on those guys. That is how a man responds when he loves someone.

MY HEART 😭😭 or obviously the kiss scene, which was a work of art. And we really should lmao. I’m mourning by making edits of them 💀💀
@@starlvs or the moment when he's on the yard being beaten up and tells agent donolly to stop, the tears in her eyes, you could tell truly then, her hidden love for him was beyond evident for those few seconds
