Well damn, this character just means so much to me and to actually complete a video for him just makes me so happy. I started this at 11:30 at night out of a sudden urge and then finished around three in the morning. As anxious as I was to post it, I fell asleep during exporting. So now, here you go. Although his development slowed down a little bit after the first 3 seasons, johns presence on screen was always breathtaking for me in the right moments and his character along with the show will be absolutely missed. I want to make a Root video, Harold video, and a POI video so you can probably expect those at some point. Sorry, this show is absolutely my favorite show of all time. Definitely expect a big multifandom at some point too though ;)

Few days ago I finished this show and since then I've been watching this vid everyday. I didnt comment yet because I didnt feel like I could type anything as perfect as this vid is. I have watched many shows and I've met many good characters, I've learned many things from these shows and these characters. I got really sad when some of them died or when some of those shows were cancelled or just finished. Homeland used to be my favorite show so far, but when I was watching POI I realized: "This is the best show I've ever seen in my life". In the firsts seasons it was like a normal show but I kept watching and watching and I couldnt stop, this show really got me in a way I cant even explain. The characters helped people and they didnt want anything in exchange. They did it for free will and it was really new for me because the others shows that I watched the characters were very violent and they killed people for nothing. I can say POI changed not just my life but also my mind. It's really difficult to see people helping each other and caring about each other nowadays. And if you make POI your favorite show it means that you care about people too and that you are a good person too. The partnership between John and Finch is just speechless. I will remember these characters for the rest of my life, they meant a lot to me and they really helped my in many ways. They made me notice that we all can change, and we should do the best we can to help not just the people we love but also the people "We don't even know" said by Finch. The others characters such as Carter, Root, Lionel and Shaw are really very important to me too, their lives were changed by the second they met John and Finch, they realized that it's always good to help people. I also would like to say that John always doubt about Lionel and never really trusted him because Lionel was a dirty cop in the past. But their relationship was getting better and better and I started to cry everytime when John worried about Lionel and I am crying a lot right now because I really loved Lionel and the way he changed. I remember when he said: "Because of you I am a better man, a changed man." Lionel did respect John and always saw John as a good friend. I also remember when John said: You are a good detective. And a good friend." These are words that I didnt expect John would say when I was in the firsts seasons and I cried a lot in this time because the partnership between them is sooo cuuutee and they really made me evolve as a person and as a professional in my line of work. I'd like to say more about the characters but this comment will be very big so I'll leave it for a next time :D
I'd like to thank you for this vid. I hope you understand how difficult it is to me to explain it in english because I dont know many words to explain what I felt when I was watching the show and what I feel when I watch this vid. As I said, I watched many shows and many of them made me cry such lost and breaking bad but any of them made me cry as POI did. This is the only and the first vid that made me start to watch a tv show. Yeah, I'm seriously. Do you remember my first comment in this vid? I told that I wanted to meet this character because he looked awesomee. Well, I didnt start to watch the show exactly when I watched this vid, I started a few months later when I met someone who was watching this show and he told me it was a great show and that I had to watch it. Then I got back here and I watched this vid again and I noticed that this vid was very well done and the characters in this vid must be amazing, and then I finally started to watch it. Thank you for this.
I also would like to say that you are one of the few editors who makes emotional vids and they are my favorite kind of vid. There are many others editors who just pick a song a put a lot of scenes and they name that a vid, but you are different, you know how to make people cry. I really get tears in my eyes when I watch this vid. I dont know what motivates you to make such good vids, but I am sure they are very welcome and I enjoy them everytime I watch. I am sorry if this is too big, this is not even close what I'd like to say but I am kind of limited because I am not typing it in my native language, but if I could put all these in a shortsentence, that would be: I love POI and I learned a lot of things with it, thank you for all your vids about POI and especially this vid. POI is my favorite show now ;D

That stuff you said about me being one of the few that could make emotional videos… WOW. THANK YOU so much! I can’t lie that any time I edit a POI video, their are certain points where I will tear up. I don’t know if it is thanks to my editing but the main reason is definitely ( as you said ) these characters. I honestly think Person of Interest will remain my favorite show no matter what. The Leftovers is so close to being in a tie but Person of Interest changed me as well. In ways I wouldn’t be able to put into words. I can’t wait to hear more from you on this show! Thank You.

Great tribute to John Reese. His fate in the finale was upsetting. It was also tragically poetic. He went out the way he lived: saving lives.

Level 7 Productions Just finished watching all of it on Netflix and I cried for John Reese... smh it was bittersweet. It's weird how I connected so much to a bloody character lol. Anyway that's how I came across this video which is perfect.
John Reese is unforgetable. Person Of Interest is unique. I believe this strongly.. for me it's the top story and show i've watched. It's amazingly realistic compared to others and John Reese is such a beautiful character, detailed, strong and dark, good person to the core. And all the rest each one is amazing at their part. It's the combination of amazing writer and actors. Such beautiful creations give meaning to life

I have nothing but my highest praise for this video. Yes, the character John Reese did have the heaviest heart. The show was such a wonderful production. Jim Caviezel was an excellent John Reese. I have watched this show over and over on the internet. We don't have regular TV so when it was being made I didn't see it then. Hope to see more from Mr. Caviezel. He is an extremely talented actor and speaker.

This beautiful, well edited video makes me cry and makes me angry. Your video shows the kind of man/character John Reese was. His goodness, his heart. He is the character that drove the show. And yet his sacrifice at the end was never given the respect it deserved. We never saw Finch, Shaw or Fusco mourn his loss. We never saw them grieve. We as fans NEEDED to see him mourned by his friends......so we could mourn WITH them. They showed so much respect for Carter's death over 2 seasons after she was gone. Even Root was mourned by Shaw for multiple episodes. All we got for Reese was a cut to a commercial, came back with Finch seeing Grace & a stupid meet-up in a diner between Shaw & Fusco.....their banter cut me to the bone. Their smiles and lighthearted comments about where Reese & Finch were was devastating to me and many other fans. I love POI like no other show & I will love the characters forever but I will NEVER get over the loss of Reese and the way his death was treated. Thank you for the video that makes me cry for what we've lost every time I watch it.

This is such a beautiful video, with all my favourite moments of John. I have just finished rewatching the whole series again, at first actually by chance, and then because I couldn't stop. Although I liked the show for the action when it was aired, now, years later, I see so many other things being shown (I'm not finished thinking about it, but for now I'm settling on the idea of loneliness). Anyways, thank you for this video, I am going to save it and savour it.

heavy heart why ? he killed people because he was told to it as his job and he was a soldier so yes he got a heavy heart but remember he never killed innocent people.
He once said, that some of the people he killed were bad and others not. So he did kill innocent people during his time with the CIA.
