    The Glencoe is good equipment. Popular up here.
    I see the Orange Spectacular is raffling a D12. This year.
    That is 90 days out.
    Thank you Tim.

      It's popular around here too, that's why I can't understand why I got it so cheap. I've seen 11ft Glencoe with the same setup so for 11k 🤷‍♂️. I'll take the win lol. We need a d12 for our collection. That a d10 and a d21 we'd have every day tried made. But the d21 isn't going to Jalen any time soon if at all for the price of one of those I'd go buy a nice flat 8000 series lol. Your welcome Bryce thanks for watching!

    I had a 21’ finisher like yours and pulled it with a 2-155. I raised the discs up some and that helped some with the ridging.

      I was able to pull it on not worked ground at 24ft wide, but it was no walk in the park for the 7060. I'm sure you know the plowed ground is a whole different animal 😆. The 7045 knows it's back there at 13 feet, but at the same time, I don't feel like I'm beating the crap out of it. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    Love the channel. Good looking tractors. I have a friend that used to have a narrow front 190 he said it would beat you to death working it, Al Koch, some might remember his super stock tractors entertainer 1 and 2, very cool guy

    • @TimothyFluegel
      @TimothyFluegel  2 місяці тому

      I'm sure Al wasn't exaggerating. The difference between a d17 wide front and a narrow front are night and day in the field as far as how they ride. I can't imagine farming with a narrow front as heavy as a 190 🤦‍♂️. If we're thinking of the same person i think there are some vintage videos on UA-cam here of him pulling.

      @@TimothyFluegel oh ya I'm sure it's same one, last time I talked to him he was in the process of building a new light super stock Agco tractor. I had a few pictures of its chassis, engine and sheet metal going together. It was an awesome build. Ain't heard from him in a long time so have no idea what's going on with it

    • @TimothyFluegel
      @TimothyFluegel  Місяць тому

      That's awesome right there. You just don't see the side dressers any more. 1940s tech that in my opinion was way ahead of its time and still the best way to conventionally feed your crops to this day.

    Looks like you've been doing your homework Tim! The Olson Tractor show in Elmwood, WI is having the 60th anniversary of the 190 as the show tractor and I believe they are trying to get a number of narrow front versions there. July 12/13. You should come.

      I pull in Southeast Minnesota and one of our plow days is in August. The face book page is Claremont plow day, we usually plow about 100 plus acres on a Sunday afternoon. A lot of fun. And I pull with a 44 MH farm stock.

    • @TimothyFluegel
      @TimothyFluegel  2 місяці тому

      @robertkidder174 that sounds like a fun time. I only have about 30 acres for plow day but I plow 150 every year is my favorite farming activity for sure lol. I'll have to keep a look out for you when I'm watching pulling videos.

    That finisher will be nice, especially if you end up pulling the basket behind it. Turning will suck. What you said about tire tracks and weeds is why I started pulling the drill behind my disc. That and it does a better job not planting into a track. Glad the big 7060 is healthy again. Sounds like a great lineup for plow day!!! Thanks for the video Tim!!! Hope you have a safe planting season!!!

    • @TimothyFluegel
      @TimothyFluegel  2 місяці тому

      The more I think about it the more I think I be pulling the basket behind the soil finisher. And you called that turning around is going to be comical lol. It just seems to make sense. In your case pulling all that stuff behind the 45 was just plain awesome 😆. Thanks for watching and commenting Evan.

    Just stumbled onto your channel, love seeing the orange tractors. I had a 7000 and a 6060 4wd w/loader when I was dairy farming.
    Did I count 14 gravity wagons ?

    • @TimothyFluegel
      @TimothyFluegel  2 місяці тому

      Thanks for checking it Ken. I hope you enjoy the channel. My brother has a 7000 he just bought last year. And I'm sure you seen my 6080 in the video here. I need to get a cab kit and sit conditioning in my 6080 yet but it's a fresh over haul and runs like a top. Yes I think you did count 14 wagons 😆. I'm my defense 5 of then are my brother's lol. With the 9 I have and my combine full I can hold enough for 2 semis which seems to be the magic number for me to keep up to semis all day as long as I have the 2 loads ready in the morning. They don't have far to travel and the old m2 can only pick so much corn per hour 😂. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    Use a combine steer axle and a cylinder to steer it on the 190. Way lighter. I have a friend that has a 190 down to 4500 pound

    • @TimothyFluegel
      @TimothyFluegel  2 місяці тому +1

      I've thought about that. But I'm his be pulling this farmstock and there's rules against excessively lightening. I was thinking a 170 front bolster and 17 spindle would look factory enough 😆. Once I build the engine and pull it in the hot rod classes I'll be going all in on things like that for sure. Thanks for watching and commenting!

      I should have done a separate video on that. They went right at 60bpa. The worked ground right next to it went 68. I never did get his over all thoughts on the cost benefits of the tillage parts for its self but I would think it did.

    most farm video have more talk then working. why ??? should be lest talk if you ask me, as an old farmer

    • @TimothyFluegel
      @TimothyFluegel  2 місяці тому

      Because there's alot of guys that have been watching my channel from the start that like hearing about the setup and logistics. If I do all videos of work, then I get messages like this complaining that I don't explain enough 😆 can't ever keep everyone happy. But this video was clearly labeled as a setup/getting ready video. The next one will be a full overhaul of a 230 buda diesel engine. With alot of work and talk. Then the next one will be a plowing and planting video. There will be mostly tractors working and dirt being turned. And I've got plow day coming up that will be just full of different colors working together in the field. Thanks for watching and commenting.
